The matcha green tea ice cream tastes like what you could buy at the grocery store. I miss dip ‘n dots but this place isn’t it.

I came to this place with my friends. I was wondering what nitrogen ice cream would taste like. I got the rocky road, it was definitely sweet. My friend got the ginger ice cream and it had a strong ginger taste. If you are a fan of ginger then you should get it. As for green tea, it tasted like green tea. The ice cream wasn’t anything super special. It was interesting to see the process of making it.

I came here after hanging with my friends in the middle of the night. It was a great place to snack and just catch up with friends. The green tea ice cream is so delicious I would definitely go back next time. It is a great place to take Instagram pictures and the food looks really cutesy too! I would recommend this place for ice cream!

The staff is friendly, and the ice cream flavors are inventive. It’s fun watching them make it with liquid nitrogen, too! The Green Tea Kit Kat Ice Cream, while a cool concept, sadly became boring after a few bites. There is such a thing as too much green tea after all. You can’t do half and half ice cream flavors here, but they will happily allow you to switch out toppings when you order. Also interesting: You place the order yourself via their iPad(Square app), then email yourself the receipt.

Fresh liquid nitrogen ice cream. Yes, it is novelty. It changes the texture of the ice cream rather than enhancing the flavor. The choices here are good but limited. It already takes a short while to make your ice cream from basically scratch. Green tea and coffee were awesome. I can’t wait to visit again.

Very interesting concept. Really clean and bright store. I like that there’s not too many choices. I ordered the coffee ice cream. It was really good and not at all what I expected. It’s fun to watch them make the ice cream but I can’t imagine this being entertaining more than once.

2 thumbs up for this place. The ice cream is so cold, soft, and creamy. It is also very amusing watching the process of making the ice cream with liquid nitrogen. I ordered the caramel popcorn and it was savory good. If you’re looking for a very cold enticing ice cream parlor, this is a great place to try. I’d say you should come during the daytime to avoid any crowds.

One of my fav dessert spots! The place is also colorful and cute. Of course, I got the green tea kit kat ice cream since i love anything with green tea. But surprisingly, I liked the caramel popcorn a bit better. Perfect sweet and salty taste to it. There were not that many places to sit but that is not a big deal. Just walk it off. Definitely coming back to this spot.

This is one of those walk ins where you not only eat a delicious product but you get an experience as well. Sure, those DIY froyo places, cute and niche Ice ice am shops, and ice cream rolls may have been trending… But this spot is the real deal. The ice cream is made with liquid nitrogen freezing the ingredients. They put on a fairly cool show that demonstrates the process. All the selections were carefully thought of and really packs a flavorful punch. Why does the place deserve a 5 star when nothing in this world is perfect? It’s not a gimmick. The finished product is extremely creamy and flavorful… It’s the real deal. And this is coming from somebody who hates ice cream. I already can’t wait to go back… too bad it’s really far from me haha. Highly highly suggest this ice cream walk in

Wow… colored me impressed! This place showed up on my radar when I saw fellow Unilocaler Cynthia D. post pictures of their ice cream with Green Tea Kit Kat topping. I am a sucker for anything matcha or green tea so I knew I had to check this place out. I wasn’t sure if this whole liquid nitrogen thing was a gimmick, but it definitely was quite entertaining watching the employees making your ice cream to order, and seeing the smoke billowing out of that crazy looking contraption. The end product was quite good — rich, smooth, dense/substantive without being overly creamy if that makes any sense. Definitely tasted just as good as it looked! I’m still not entirely certain whether the liquid nitrogen process provides anything except entertainment value, but I didn’t care because the ice cream was great! They take CC, and also have a stamp card/loyalty program for those who want to come here regularly. Definitely would be back again to try their other flavors!

I. LOVE. THIS. PLACE. Have you ever walked into a place and 5 minutes later, you’re already planning when you’ll be back? That’s what –321 ice cream was for me and my bf. I first tried liquid nitrogen ice cream in San Francisco and was amazed by the concept but disappointed by its price and size. I was very excited to hear that one opened up near my bf’s place in Williamsburg. Unfortunately, I missed out on the BOGO deal(wish I found out about it earlier)!! But at $ 6, its not too bad since its actually large enough to share! I’m not a big fan of the green tea ice cream hype but decided to try it since my friends were raving about it. The green tea was surprisingly light and delicious! The cookies and cream was good, but nothing out of this world. The star of the show was the salted caramel popcorn! It had the perfect balance of salty and sweet.

Liquid nitrogen home made ice cream? Yes please. I’m glad I got around to coming to this place. It’s definitely an experience, as you watch them make the ice cream right in shop. I ordered pumpkin pie, a seasonal ice cream choice, which had actual pieces of pumpkin pie. It came to about $ 6, which is steep for ice cream, but worth it. Since my stomach is sensitive of dairy, I’ll only cave if the ice cream is worth trying. It definitely was. It was a lot creamier that ice cream i’m use to. It was a pretty large portion, so I’m glad I had some help with me. It wasn’t «the» best ice cream I’ve ever had, but I loved the texture so much, that it was great sweet treat.

Ice cream made of nitrogen? Seriously? As soon as I knew this place, I marked my calendar to give a try at this special place. They actually do not offer many flavor selections; nevertheless they tried to incorporate seasonalities into their options — like pumpkin/apple pie/key lime pie flavors, etc. They do occasionally bring in new tastes as well. Heard that during weekends or rush hours wait could be crazy. So come on a weekday night in November is not necessarily a bad thing! I got the graham cracker flavor, which was introduced recently — enjoyed it a lot

First time experiencing liquid nitrogen made ice cream. I love the concept and the fact that its made fresh right in front of you. I went on a cold November Sunday, so there was no wait and plenty of tables/chairs available. It’s a cute and clean little shop decorated with pastel pink, blue and green beakers/machines/test tubes. I ordered the Oreos cookies and cream and it came in one size($ 6.50). The lady poured two beakers into the bowl and added the liquid nitrogen. A huge cloud started to form and it was pretty cool. It didn’t take long to make the ice cream and add in some crumbled Oreos. It was topped off with some whipped cream and whole Oreos. The overall flavor was quite creamy and just like biting into an Oreo. One cup was pretty filling. I do wish I looked at the left screen to see some limited edition menu options. At the time they had key lime pie and some apple pie. I would have tried the key lime pie cause it’s my favorite. Next time I venture into BK! No more Unilocal check in offer :(

My friends and I came at 1:30PM on a Sunday, but it was still closed, so we waited for them to open, but the guy who opened the gate was really nice, he offered us a buy one get one free for waiting. Customer service was great, he explained to us how to ice cream was made, and the outcome of the process. It was interesting to watch them make the ice cream in front of you and observe how liquid nitrogen is used to make it. I felt like I was in a colorful science lab! The machines itself looked so cool and were so colorful – pink, blue, and green, corresponding to their cute sign of flasks. The spoons that they provide are also in the same colors! The place itself was overall very clean(like a lab should be!) and bright. However, there is very limited seating, there are two round tables with stools and a counter against the window that can seat three people. They currently have 7 different flavors: Green Tea KitKat, Very Strawberry, Peanut Butter Cup, Cookies n’ Cream, Coffee, Caramel Popcorn, and Dark Chocolate Chip. They are priced at about $ 6 a cup. I ordered the green tea kitkat. The ice cream had a cold and hard exterior and so smooth and creamy when you taste it. I love the texture of it, it’s just how ice cream should be made! The green tea ice cream did not have that bitter tea taste that I love, but it was still delicious. I loved the taste of the pieces of green tea kitkat too! It’s unfortunate that it’s in such an inconvenient location for me. I would love to return to try the caramel popcorn!

Stopped by –321° and it was a great choice! I’ve been wondering what the hype was all about. Just simply amazing watching the process of the ice cream being made. I had the green tea flavor! Being a lover of Kit Kats, green tea and green tea Kit Kats. The ice cream was definitely taste like rich authentic green tea ice cream (similar to what you would get in a sushi store) the green tea kit kat was definitely a plus and whip cream to just balance out the green tea flavor very well. –321°the ice cream melts in such slow pace, in this case you can slowly eat the ice cream without worry about it melting too quickly or brain freeze. Overall a bit disappointed that there are so little tables and people normally take a long time to chit chat with their friends so high chances you won’t have a place to sit. There is also no bathroom. Staffs are friendly and I do intent to come back to try other flavors.

We got 2 ice creams to share among 5 people and we couldn’t finish it but then again we had a pretty filling brunch earlier. I would definitely recommend sharing the ice cream with someone. Ice cream is approximately $ 6 for one. PROS: — Green Tea Ice Cream with green tea kit kat and a dollop of cream. The green tea ice cream was pretty good. — Coffee Ice Cream. I liked the coffee ice cream however I wasn’t really a fan of the candy pieces in the ice cream but that’s easily removable. — service was quick and there’s a stamp card. NOTE: There’s no more bogo Unilocal offer for checking in.

4.5 to be exact. I’ll round up for the concept and the novelty of getting instant ice cream using liquid nitrogen! I think it is great that this concept has been brought over to the east coast. I was able to try liquid nitrogen ice cream in California earlier this year and it’s definitely something different to be seen over here. –321 Ice Cream Shop is a very clean and good looking establishment and they put all their effort in this concept. How it works is that they have fresh cream for the particular ice cream you want and they add it to a blender to mix. Now this is where the liquid nitrogen comes in! Since liquid nitrogen will bring the temperature down on the cream real fast into extreme temperatures, the ice cream is then frozen right then and there, so there is how you’re ice cream is made here! They have the blenders in plain view from the register so you can see your ice cream being made, and all the cloudiness that occurs from when the liquid nitrogen is applied to the mix. For people seeing this for the first time, it can be a show within itself. However for me, I work in science, so I see liquid nitrogen in action pretty often haha! Anyways, as for the flavors, I’ve tried the Cookies n Cream(with cookies on top) and the Peanut Butter cup(with Reese’s Pieces on top) which were good. However, my personal favorite right now is the Green Tea Kit Kat ice cream, as there is even actual green tea Kit Kats that they add on top! All the ice cream flavors here come with a complementary topping that emphasizes the ice cream flavor which is a nice touch. Follow them on social media so you can have updates on their flavors, as they will be changing some of their flavors from time-to-time. The added variety should have people keep coming back for more! Oh FYI, if you check-in on Unilocal, you unlock deal that will allow you to get a buy-one-get-one FREE ice cream. Go here with friends and take advantage of this while supplies last !(Or just be a fatty and order two!!! I will not judge you!)

I’m excited to see there’s a liquid nitrogen ice cream place in town. The concept is great and there have been quite a few successful liquid nitrogen ice cream shops. I came here on a Sunday evening and the store was relatively empty. We made our order for the Green Tea Kit Kat ice cream quickly and watched the staff make our ice cream on the spot. Don’t miss the ice cream making process because that’s the fun in the whole experience. Our ice cream was nice and smooth, strong green tea flavor and came with a few pieces of green tea kit kat as well. Not a fan of the whipped cream on top(though I guess it looks nice for presentation). I do recommend coming here if you haven’t had liquid nitrogen ice cream before. It’s a cool experience, but not exactly mind-blowing ice cream. The current menu has a variety of flavors such as green tea, strawberry, chocolate, cookies and cream, popcorn. It’s a good basic, beginning menu, but I really expect to see more exquisite flavors that can be incorporated into liquid nitrogen ice cream. –321 Ice cream also looks surprisingly similar to an establishment I’ve been to multiple times in Hong Kong called Lab Made(the logo and color design). I can’t comment on whether that’s a coincident or an inspiration. Looking forward to more unique flavors. Good to give it a try.

Check in for free ice cream?! Yes please! But even if you don’t, this is so worth the $ 6.50. I definitely recommend the strawberry flavor, it’s really really good and the one I liked the most. The green tea kit kat is also really good, but I got a little overwhelm from the kit kat. The cookie and cream one is also really good too! So basically all the flavors I tried are amazing! The ice cream is really creamy, which I loved. The workers are super friendly too! There aren’t any chairs for you to sit, so please expect to stand. It’s also really cool how they make your ice creams. Definitely will be coming back!
