Right outside the subway. Sandwiches, basics. Eggs milk when the grocery is closed. At night it’s scary. You ask for your items through the bullet proof glass. Brooklyn!

It’s a bodega. You know, B-O-D-E-G-A. Searching for the awesome food spot on Caton and Flatbush, this place came up. Seeing all these detailed Unilocal reviews makes me wonder if people are maybe a little too into posting online reviews. Quick, somebody, post a review of the bodega 2 blocks away where they sell loosies and stale rolls!

Pros: They make a decent sandwich. I’m particularly fond of their Philly cheesesteak hero. Cons: Avoid the old coffee. They don’t serve beer or fresh fruit, and they’re often out of items like Ketchup. The staff is really nice though. I just wish there was a better selection. Most, if not all, of the delis in the neighborhood are lacking.

As a little convenience shop, it’s pretty weak. $ 4.69 for a half gallon or milk and no fruits or vegetables. Plus the deli part looks pretty grimey. Pretty much the only thing it has going for it is that it’s conveniently attached to the north entrance to the Church Ave MTA stop.

well it’s a market plus deli with a small waiting area for both lines so as you already know hijinks ensue as people cut in line, can’t get noticed to place an order, and get territorial and pissy if you stand a little too close. Another draw back(at least for me) is the amount of cops that frequent the place. cause the nypd roll six to eight deep here around 9 – 10 am. so expect to be put on hold while the fat cops waddle around to get their yoo-hoo drinks and bacon egg and cheese sandwiches. the food is bland and it has the typical cold cuts, salad, wraps set up like every other corner deli in the area. they also like to under cook the eggs in the morning cause the place is a zoo with people getting cold cuts, in the middle of a breakfast rush, and the cooks are handling all hot drink orders at the same time as crack eggs and toasting rolls.(no serve yourself coffee here) so open your sandwich and check it while you wait in another line. Now this next line is only 3 feet from where you just waited for your deli order, and on cue ny’s finest waddle on in this shoebox sized store and cut everyone in line and make a long wait longer. the best is when the guy who looks like he hasn’t taken a bath in a month of sundays is waiting on line with a loaf of bread scratching away at his dirty head and whatever debris is coming off is landing on some clueless white lib transplant from ohio who thinks living in brooklyn is hip and cool. that area has always been oozing with lowlifes so expect the drunks on line at 9 am lit like a christmas tree buying a 12 pack of bud ice. and the crack heads playing the scratch off lotto tickets hoping for a pay day. eat breakfast at home and skip this place. unless you like waiting in lines and getting cut off by the boys in blue

Yes, so this is just a deli — you can get a turkey sandwich, a cup of coffee, or any variety of snack foods. The staff there is really pleasant — I can get a smile and an egg and cheese on a roll for $ 1.75. The only thing I would recommend avoiding is the old coffee that has been sitting in the pot overnight.

Very friendly and convenient. Wished they had fresh veggies so I don’t have to go to church ave.

Blocks away from my babe’s apartment. next door to the subway. What more can you ask for? Breakfast bagels are yummy. my guy had his: whole wheat bagel, eggs, Swiss, and pastrami. mine was the exact replica except w/regular bagels since they ran out of whole wheat bagels. A little convenience store w/hot foods that seemed to be open 24⁄7. Great little version of 7 – 11 except 7−11s do not have breakfast bagels :(
