Fish Fish Mo Fish

We have been about once a week since it opened, and we have never been disappointed. Fish is fresh and light, and the sides are excellent, especially the cole slaw and green beans. Friendly staff, too.

Came here on a whim for lunch. We sit down and the waitress? comes to bring us the menu. The place was practically empty with the exception of a man waiting at the counter for take out. I ordered the fish and shrimp combo with fries for me & my boo to split and 2 lemonades (supposedly fresh squeezed).
I heard a bell ring and the waitress (and I use that description lightly) tells the cooks she needed 2 orders of fries too. She walks over and asks y’all wanted fries too right? We answer yes and she apologized saying it was her fault and the fries would be out soon. At that exact moment we both notice she has two plates of food even though I didn’t request 2 orders. We ask if she has 2 orders she replies yes. I was confused since I never said I wanted 2 orders and told her I requested 1 order. She says she thought I wants 2 orders and then asked if I was the only one eating? I explained we were splitting the food and she took the other plate of food away. The fries came when we were almost done with the fish and shrimp and tasted like fries you would buy from the frozen food section.
Long story long, the entire experience was a complete bust and besides the mediocre food (which included the smallest pieces of whiting I’ve ever seen) the service made me really regret ever trying this spot.

This place had an «Opening Soon» sign for about a year. They are finally open for business. I didn’t eat here yet but my partner did. So I’m trying to be healthy and got tacos from a place across the street (womp, womp –mediocre Mexican food). My guy, however, had a fish sandwich from this new spot Fish, Fish, Mo Fish. I watched him devour it. He LOVED it and the neighborhood folks coming into the spot were so excited. The owners and the cook were super friendly. The place is super clean. And according to my fam — the fried fish is super good! It’s new so posting his review of the restaurant on his behalf.
I sent my good friend there and she raved about it too. Will let you know when I taste it for myself. :-)
