Literally amazing. I got the prix fixe chilaquiles and my girlfriend got the salmon eggs Benedict which she devoured. Next time I’m in NY I’ll definitely visit. Everything is just amazing!

I’ve been here twice so far and I think I’ve found my new summer hangout. A bunch of us came here for dinner on my birthday. The menu was perfect for a group outing because I have a few vegetarian friends and there were more than enough options for everyone. I ordered the tuna tartare tacos and the shawarma style flatbread. The flatbread was pretty good. No complaints. The tacos were absolutely perfect. Definitely the best thing we ordered all night. My friends collectively got the steak tacos(could’ve been seasoned a little better but not bad), the mediterranean platter(the hummus was delicious), the cast iron cheeseburger(he said he enjoyed it) and the jalapeño mac n cheese(just the right amount of spicy). The drinks were also top notch. Try the Fancy Pants. It won’t disappoint. The second time I went, it was a beautiful afternoon and we were seated in the courtyard. The scenery is awesome and it’s pretty good for people watching. We only ordered drinks and snacks. The guac and chips were a little underwhelming but the waffle fries were bomb. The staff is also really cool. Super friendly and accommodating. I’ll definitely be back before the summer ends.

I’m giving Forrest Point 5 stars because it’s honestly the best thing happening in Bushwick. It’s quality, it’s consistent and it’s delicious. You can spend a lot of money and treat your self to the Tuna Duck Fried Rice and a whiskey sour with egg white at 11pm at night, or you can get a $ 7 beer and a shot and have the $ 10 burger. You can have chillaques for brunch outside on the patio, or you can have a nice candle lit date at 3am over a bottle of red. I have done all these things and Forrest Point has yet to disappoint. The service is always amazing, friendly and genuine. I do wish they had more desert options, mainly because as a regular, I have tried everything and I’m ready for something new.(The Smore’s is amazing) It’s great to have such a great staple in the neighborhood, and if you need a place that can service all your needs at anytime, this is your go to!

Loved this place – went for brunch a few months ago, and it’s really good. definitely recommend the prix fixe(entrée, mimosa/bloody mary, coffee, and fries for $ 19) but a la carte is also great and a little more affordable if you don’t need all the extra ‘baggage.‘ the bloody mary was insanely good. chilaquiles were unbelievable. i want them every day for every meal. atmosphere is lovely, you can either sit outside in this beautiful terrace area, or inside in a big warehousey space, or in this cute little lounge with shelves and shelves of records. loved coming and will definitely be back!

Go for the brunch. $ 19 pre-fixe includes your entrée, home fries, choice of booze(mimosa, bloody mary, bellini, and a stomach churning drink involving cayanne & modelo) and coffee. Definitely an eccentric flavor palette, perfect those with a bit of a tart-tooth. I always get the Salmon Benedict which is topped with capers and avocado. Service is fast, but try to go to brunch late or super early or else you food might look like a hot mess because they get packed, and the service workers gotta hustle to keep you brunchies satisfied.

Located on flushing avenue, this restaurant is a classic. Their huge inside allows you to think about a big party dinner or lunch with all your friends and their beautiful garden to a romantic or chill moment in the forest. Nature you said? Of course. A gorgeous outdoor totally out of time, like a tiny jungle in the middle of the streets. Regarding the menu, food is good and cheap. We had the crunchy quinoa salad and the cauliflower plate. Both were really tasty. The quinoa salad is refreshing, ideal for a summer meal with those slices of mango and grapefruit. The cauliflower is braised and caramelized. Delicious. Then, sit on a wood bench we just enjoyed the sun and those incredible flowers smell. The perfect summer restaurant

I seriously don’t know how this place can get more than a one-star rating. Before I start on all the reasons why I didn’t care for this restaurant, I’ll at least say that the service was pretty good, as far as being checked on often. Now for the downsides… Coffee mug had what looked to be red sauce at the lip, as well as a short hair. The milk had a black speck of something in it. The coffee itself was too citrus-sy for my taste, so I couldn’t drink more than a sip. I ordered the chiliquiles on the brunch menu, and while it seemed like a good price at $ 9, especially for the huge portion, I didn’t think so anymore after realizing it was nothing but two fried eggs on top of what looked like an entire bag of tortilla chips with salsa. My boyfriend got the breakfast burrito and he was also feeling blah about his order. The fries were cold wedges of uncrispy potatoes. Surprised by how popular this restaurant is. Very underwhelming.

I’ve been here several times for cocktails and brunch. Brunch is a super great value, large portions, prix fixe $ 19 for main, home fries, coffee and cocktail. Nice selection of hipster kale whatever and normal breakfast items. The craft cocktails are super interesting and the staff is knowledgeable about the ingredients and what they are selling. Overall a super hipster vibe — if you’re into that. And you are. Don’t act like you’re too cool for school.

I came here in October, it was the hottest, most beautiful day for dining here. We were seated outside seating under these wooden posts, that had branches or «vines» growing up it. It was a really different atmosphere. I would say it’s very hipster-ish and casual. The workers were great and friendly. It’s a great spot for a date! I wish I could tell you how the prices were, but I didn’t pay for it. I would come here again, the food was good. I remember there wasn’t a big selection, though. I just loved the feel of being outside, like you’re in a big garden or yard just having a picnic. It was neat!

I’ve been here multiple times for brunch(once when Roberta’s had a wait up the wazoo) and can vouch for Forrest Point being a laid back spot to eat and drink well. Their chiliquiles are insane! I like to mix up all my ingredients and although it’s «gross looking» according to my haters, the tortillas, crema, guac, and fried eggs make for an incredible combination. My tastebuds were singing love songs to the chiliquiles for weeks after. Our only complaint was that the home fries were a lil overcooked. They also have a «prix fixe» menu which is a good deal if you’re looking to get boozy at brunch. Their bloody marys are very good, as is their coffee —- free refills, holla! — and you can have both with prix fixe! My friends got the breakfast burrito and the cast iron cheese burger which they liked very much; however they also got a plate of house made muffins which were a bit dry. The waitstaff is very friendly and appreciated our love for Sriracha: D You can also kick it with a beer and some board games — Uno, Connect 4(missing the bottom piece though), and some other card games that I can’t recall. Rarely a wait and in the colder months, they have additional seating that’s covered. In the warmer months, make sure to ride the swings outside — they may look like they’re falling apart, but they have yet to break under our weight!

I suggested grabbing dinner at Forrest Point with my brother and his girlfriend after one of his theater productions. Cozy little hipster spot specializing in small plates and drinks. Great atmosphere, with lots of industrial décor and interesting artwork on the walls. We were seated right away despite it being quite busy, and service was quick throughout. I have but one warning: portion sizes are tiny, so keep that in mind when ordering. Their waffle fries, jalapeño mac ‘n cheese, porchetta sandwich, and seared tuna w duck fried rice were all tasty — but a bit pricey, considering how much you get. We tried all three of their desserts, as well, which easily outshined all of the savory dishes we already had. Would I come back? Probably not, as I live in Queens. But I can see the appeal of regular visits if I were a local.

Forrest Point is a great place to come with a few friends, enjoy some drinks and relax. I keep stopping in at Forrest Point. I’de like to say it’s all about the food but they are a nice belike ride from my house and they are close to one of my favorite bike shops. Another bike related reason is that they have a long iron fence which is perfect for parking your bike. They have a pretty good beer selection and the seating outdoors has a variety of styles which makes things interesting. So far I’ve been here 3 times and each time I’ve enjoyed my food so I guess it’s safe to give them a 5 star. Michael O

Absolutely loved this place. I’m in town visiting a friend and we wanted a quick dinner. We stopped in here, sat on the patio(although it’s November in New York) which was equipped with heating lamps and enjoyed us a nice dinner. Our waitress(which I regret getting her name) was amazing and hilarious. She wore a green kimono jacket which at one point came up as a point of conversation. I apologize for laughing at you stubbing your toe, ye awesome waitress! We each ordered one of the«special burgers». They aren’t listed on the menu but they had 5 we could pick from. I chose the Jefferson — equipped with waffle fries and fresh ass jalapeños. Delicious! We also indulged in their delicious waffle fries. The menu was extensive — although small. Items such as a crunchy quinoa salad all the way to chicken pot pie. Everyone could enjoy something here.

Real delicious, juiciest burger I’ve ever had(thus far). Friendliest staff ever, always attentive of every guest, all the time! You guys made this experience a five, so kudos to you guys. I experienced the McDonald burger,(not McDonalds, get it together folks) it was a burger with pulled pork, onion, lettuce, tomato, and an egg. I chose to skip on the egg, but don’t be fooled, this juicy burger, which was sweet and delish and devoured within seconds. I also experienced their mac and cheese, Oh Gawd!, it was perfect, it had hints of crunchiness, and the kick added by the jalapenos was a shut the front door experience if you feel me. I would recommend this funky Bushwick venue to everyone. The outdoor portion with the bar, is also cool to visit, specially during the warmer months. Next time, I must try their libations and take public trans, rather than drive. I simply love Forest Point!

Forrest Point is a cool bar, though I do regret not trying their food after being told by multiple people that it’s actually really good. But alas, when you’re actually going to Roberta’s and need some more booze afterwards… that’s where Forrest Point comes in. It was a nice fall day, so we were able to sit in the outside porch area. There were all sorts of weird uncomfortable rocking chairs and swings that looked like they were going to break or cause tetanus, so… y’know, Brooklyn rustic. Had two of their cocktails. The first was the Fire in Da Laundromat(tequila and jalapeño infused cointreau, with a spicy rim), and the second was the Genji Gimlet(gin, sake, and a bunch of other stuff). Liked them both. They also have a good beer selection, as well as milk punch, whatever that is. Our waitress was cool and put up with our day drinking antics with grace. Would definitely come back to try the food.

A funky bar and diner that nails the best qualities of Brooklyn. Crowned on top of the establishment is a neon green sign, projecting its namesake like a beacon of cool. As your gaze lowers, you’ll see some striking street art covering the restaurants industrial walls. Inside is a cozy bar with a few tables and big metal staircase, but it’s the restaurant’s plentiful array of outdoor seating that gives it a stellar atmosphere. Outside, our metal chairs were set upon on a charming cobble stone patio and above us, floated lightbulbs glowing inside antique birdcages, flanked with with string lights to add an intimate ambiance. The waitstaff are friendly and we’ll get you settled with drinks andfood, but you can also order a coffee or drink from the order window on the side of the restaurant. The menu offers an eclectic mix of heavy dishes, light dishes, munchies and desserts. The menu allows this place to be a versatile destination for the diner; whether you are looking for a full meal or just drinks and small bites. However, the selection is quite limited. The paltry one page menu only gives you a handful of options, with only about 2 – 3 vegetarian options. I hate large menus because it usually means the kitchen is inconsistent or lacks cohesion, but a couple additions to the Forrest Point’s menu certainly wouldn’t hurt them. Our table got the shrimp tempura lettuce wraps, chicken schwarma flatbread, tuna tacos and waffle fries. I tried a couple bites of everything but the tuna tacos(didn’t know the person well enough to share), and it all tasted good. However, I will say that the spicy mayo sauce for the fries and lettuce wraps added a little too much oil to already greasy dishes. I wish it came with something else, like a sweet and spicy sesame soy ginger dip. Prices are pretty good. Nothing costs more than $ 16 I think. They also have some pretty cheap drinks. I really wanted to try the watermelon salad, but it’s $ 13 price was too steep for me. Other then some very minor setbacks, this place is awesome!

Another one to file under«Bushwick does everything better» The building is covered in trippy street art and lies in the middle of Flushing so you can’t miss it. They have a big outdoor garden area with quirky mismatched furniture — we ended up in a rocking chair seat for two! The cocktail selection was both extensive and creative. I loved the Bushwick and ended up ordering two(had the waitress request they tone down the sweetness and its was perfect). Don’t be fooled by the milk punch like I was… they don’t actually have diary in them. Instead, they use milk in the distilling process which results in a very smooth cocktail! The tuna tartare tacos were ridic good. Sooo very fresh with a great sesame sauce. I could have eaten about 3 more of these… Solid burger as well!
