I can’t recommend Gene highly enough. My wife and I were first-​time buyers looking for an apartment in the craziness that is the Brooklyn real estate market. The process stretched on for months during which there were times we felt very discouraged, but Gene was always there with patience, support, and wisdom. Gene knows all the angles of this business and enjoys sharing his knowledge with you so you can make informed decisions. I went into this completely ignorant about how to buy a home, and thanks to Gene now feel very knowledgeable. And if you need it — Gene will get you out of a jam! The apartment we ended up buying we almost lost due to a misunderstanding with the seller’s broker (not Gene’s fault). Gene got on his phone, worked his magic, and now we are living here happy as can be.

Gene is exceptional! I was a first time home buyer (Co-​op) and was CLUELESS and terrified about the process. Gene made me feel at ease every step of the way. He was exceedingly generous with this time, was supportive and encouraging and made sure that everything stayed on track at every turn. He was clear about what was needed from me and managed my expectations and concerns perfectly. Gene provided me with loads of guidance. He knew what to anticipate and always gave extremely great and realistic advice. When there was any question or concern Gene was on top of it ensuring that everyone was on the same page. Gene helped me get my loft (rental) in Clinton Hill about 3 ½ years ago. We’re still here and happy. He’s ridiculously knowledgeable and honest… a total straight shooter. I’ll most likely be working with him when we buy in Brooklyn as his knowledge of the different neighborhoods, developments, in Clinton Hill, Fort Greene, Buswick, Wburg, Prospect/​Lefferts Gardens, etc. is extensive, especially in terms of the history, inventory, prices, and market expectations.
