Love. Love. Love. Came across this food stand while at the Broadway Bites area in Greeley Square Park(located at the intersection of 33rd Street and Broadway) during the fall and I was blown away. Not only were the portions a great size, the sauces were mind blowing. A friend and I both ordered the truffle hand cut fries that were cooked to perfection with an overflowing amount of lemon garlic aioli to dip. The fries were crispy and perfectly seasoned. The fries are made to order so there was a wait but these fries were definitely worth it. I will most definitely be coming back for more. Also, the crew is so kind! When we just stopped by to give a tip and our compliments for a wonderful job afterwards, they gave us free brownies!(Which were also amazing.) Fantastic fries + personable people. If you come across their stand, be sure to get in line!

These are definitely better than most any french fry you’ll have. Whatever gives them the dark /orange color also adds flavor. They’re crispy, seasoned, and fried in something good. Comes with dipping sauces. Lemon aoili is the one they use most, and it’s a great pick. There’s about 5 – 6 others. There are huge lines for this stand at Smorgasburg for a reason.

I’m not the person you ask to accompany you to wait in a long ass line to try the latest and greatest food whatever. Not because I don’t want to try it, but I’m patient enough to bide my time for the hype of said food thing to wane and then I’m on it. Patience is a virtue and I am very virtuous person. So after seeing these insanely long lines for Home Frite every time I went to Smorgasburg, I managed to catch them at some outdoor art exhibit where there was an outdoor beer garden, a few food stands, and barely any people. Yes! Once I saw the Dutch, I knew I had to go for it. Those crispy meaty fries topped with curry ketchup, lemon aioli, and chopped onions. Holy flavor town! I was practically swooning. They blanket the fries with those toppings instead of serving the sauces separately, so the eating on the go part is kind of cancelled out, but heck if I care. I parked myself down and stuffed my face with potatoey goodness. No regrets.

Good service and very tasty! Had truffle fries with lemon aioli dipping sauce. If you like fries these are very worth the try. Had these fries at their temporary booth at 40th& Broadway. Only here until the 24th of October. Back to Brooklyn after this I’d assume. Disappointing for us Manhattanites.

I always stop by this booth at Smorgasburg in Williamsburg(and aside from the ramen burger place, it’s usually the longest line). I love their fries. They are crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, as they should be. The parmesan truffle fries are the best in my opinion, with a side of the lemon aioli. The fries are cooked to perfection and the sauce flavors are very well done. Some people complain that they are a little pricey but you definitely get a good helping that is shareable. I definitely recommend stopping by this booth when given the chance.

Home Frite fries are one the best fries in the NYC. They have decent size french fries menu. I have to admit, I have only tried the truffle fries, but I am sure they are all great. It all depends what you are craving. The one I went to is in Smorgasburg-Brooklyn(Williamsburg). The only reason I am giving them 4 stars instead of 5 stars is because there are times when I got it, they were not as crispy. They are still good, but I am fan of crispy fries.

They were present at Electric Zoo on Randalls Island and I went by for a snack in the middle of the day. I ordered the pomme frites with malt vinegar aioli. The fries were crispy and well done, and the sauce provided a nice tang to it. The only thing was that there was not very much sauce compared to the portion size for the fries. But was still a great experience. A bit pricey for it, but if you’re into pomme frites, you’ll like these guys.

No matter where I go eat, doesn’t matter if it’s a hole-in-the-wall, a food stand, or a fancy restaurant — if they serve fries, I’m gonna order it. I’m not very hard to please apparently. This past Saturday when we came to check out the Fort Greene flea for the first time and saw a lot of people toting around that signature triangular cup, I know I had to get it.(Very good marketing on their part.) Wait, $ 7 though?! Fine. At least the portion was relatively big and one order was enough to share between the two of us. We got a jalapeño sauce which was good and now I really want to go back to try all the other ones! The fries were extra crispy and soo satisfying, except for the ones that were soggy from being drenched in sauce but honestly, it was STILL delicious. Can’t wait to come back!

Today we stopped by Smorgasburg in Brooklyn and came across Home Frites. The Fries were baked and then fried skin on which added a firmness to every bite. However the serving size is way too much for one person and instead of buying two(one for both of us) we should have bought only one, which we realized may have been the reason why the cashier looked at us weird when we said we were buying two. Bottom line: Good Fries, hand tossed with cheese and other spices, and tasty dipping Sauce served in a cone shape cardboard cup. The serving is just way too much though. We had to throw away almost 90% of it. So if you go, just buy one. That should serve up to 3 people. No joke, Fries are filling!

The wife and I were out and about in Brooklyn and stopped by Smorgasburg, highly recommended btw. You wait in line for a few minutes to get these but definitely worth it. We got the war fries and they were a measuring stick to judge other fries. These were thick and crispy the way fries should be and the garlic sauce was awesome. You get a ton of them as well so you should probably bring someone to share them, it’s totally understandable to keep them to yourself though. Highly recommended.

Still mourning Pommes Frites despite their MacDougal plans, we decided to try this vendor that the main Smorgasburg account decided is its favorite. Sadly that favoritism was unjustified, as we – the only customers at Coney Smorg — were served pricey and occasionally burnt for an absurd $ 8($ 7 with peanut satay + $ 1 for an extra chipotle ranch sauce, which they inexplicably had so much trouble explaining*)(No receipt was offered). *They were also flabbergasted when we asked about the pulled pork BBQ item and why they had no relation to fries.

These fries were hot, crispy and meaty. Original fries came with one sauce. they gave a lot — I shared with 2 other friends and it was more than enough(albeit we ate a lot of other food). Each extra sauce was a dollar — pretty pricy but I like variety. I really liked the lemon garlic aioli but the chipotle ranch and poblano fraiche was good too! my brother tried the curry ketchup and he said it was great. I want to try the malt vinegar one next time and the herbocado ran out so I’m guessing it’s really good. I think it would be a notch better than pomme frites(quality wise not price) if they had the variety of sauce choices. alas pomme frites isn’t available anymore so this is doing a great job as a substitute. can’t wait to go to smorgasburg again for these! eat them with ice cream… mmm

Highly Disappointing Severely Burnt Beyond Enjoyment Fries Seems as though that is how the dish them. The Dutch Combo Horrible. It tasted like vinegar in burnt. The Curry Ketchup I assume they never got the memo you have to cook the curry when adding it to anything or else it is Bitter which never matches with vinegar. But again I could not make it through the bitter burnt POTATOESWHICHOFCOURSETHECOULDNEVERGIVEYPUENOUGHSAUCETOEVERDROWNTHATTASTE! then sever got offended because she said my name wrong I made a face. She said«Well close enough nah Hell No Bitch You was way off calling me some Russian name. Stop mind you I was still standing there about to complain about the burnt Fries she had the nerve to complain about MEBEINGOFFEND its best not to say shit and smile mind. If I could write a review with no stars believe me YOUGUYSDESERVEIT!!!

Very good fries! You should totally try war fries! You have to wait for while for it but it’s worth it. If you want your own choice of sauce then do the original fries. The fries are nicely flavored and super crispy, and the package is designed and everything so hipster looking. The service is nice as well
