Fantastic! The lollipop wings were awesome! Crispy and soft on the inside! The snowcrab salad was made perfectly and the dressing was sweet but not too sweet. The sushi was fresh and made methodically. Good prices too compared to other places. The food came in less than 45 minutes. We will order again!

This is my go-to neighborhood sushi place. The fish is super fresh and the delivery time is very fast. We usually get the rainbow roll, gyoza and chicken fried rice. All of it is amazing. Spicy mayo adds an extra kick but is definitely not needed since everything is so tasty. On occasion we order the chicken teriyaki, The meal is huge– plenty for 2. Rice, soup and lots of chicken. Super yummy! We have dined in once and ordered 2 bento boxes. Both were super yummy. The wine selection is also pretty decent. Great back yard to eat in during the summer, too!

Pretty pricey but I enjoyed the rolls. I don’t think I will order from here to often but it’s great to have the option. My spicy tuna roll tasted a little weird. I will give them another try & hope they can change my mind. Order came fairly quickly given that I ordered during lunch time.

I work across the street and they have a fantastic lunch special. You can get either a 2 or 3 roll lunch combo, with soup and salad for $ 8 or $ 11 respectively. They have a wide selection of vegetarian rolls and some more unique rolls such as Inari Avocado and Peanut Avocado.

This place is Nice. Nice is the best word that can describe it. The food is good but sometimes not so fresh and the staff is mostly good. The atmosphere in this place is really great although sometimes it seems the place is too dark. Go if you like sushi and live near by but I don’t think it fit for any special event etc.

Wish I could review the food. Going on two hours of «on the way» after an estimated delivery time of 30 – 40 minutes.

The sushi is good, but not good enough to warrant the exorbitant wait time. Seamless quotes me at 30 – 40 minutes, but this place takes at least an hour. At least be honest. This is the longest I’ve ever waited for uncooked food.

I discovered Kumo a few months ago and they always delivered on time and the fish was fresh. Less then six months later, the delivery time is always delayed by 10 – 30 minutes. Tonight, 20 minutes late, i was told the delivery only went out 15 minutes ago. Food arrived 30 minutes late. One of the entrees, jumbo shrimp island entrée was supposed to be grilled jumbo prawn. Neither grilled(most likely boiled) nor jumbo. The sashimi and spicy salmon roll were warm and did not taste fresh. I also ordered the seafood udon and it was gritty. Someone forgot to clean the dirt off the mushrooms? I will not be ordering again.

Thanks Kumo for being open for lunch on a Sunday AND for being patient with my 1833737383th modification! #yesiamthatgirl I ordered via seamless and my delivery came before the estimated time slot and the portions were reasonable(the roll combo) to generous(unagi don). YES, I ate a TON. So what?

The WORST. Ordered tonight, despite waiting an hour and a half(places get busy, I get it but staff up) then the ‘sushi’ arrived. Fish was not fresh at all, hand rolls poorly made and falling apart. The shumai was some garbage pre packed supermarket frozen option. Could not finish meal, and feel sick to the stomach.

Typical neighborhood sushi joint. Rolls are fresh, big, sauces plentiful. Prices are what you expect from sushi. It is nice to have a place like this so far down Court. Service was a little slow for a pickup order.

Ordered a few rolls at about 8:45pm on a Wednesday through seamless. Got a call twenty minutes later that they didn’t have toro — ok – no problem, pls substitute it with tuna. Whatever! I called them an hour later and they said it had just gone out for delivery. By this point my wife and I were ready to go to sleep hungry. Thankfully the food was good, but getting it was truly annoying. All the raves below about speedy delivery must have been for a better night. No idea why it took so long to delivery my tasty meal to me in my warm, comfortable home. #firstworldproblem

Today at work bought my employees lunch for a job well done on a project. Decided to try this place since one of them recommended it and we voted on sushi. The sushi was fresh and came very fast. I ordered the salmon don– 12 pieces of salmon sashimi over brown rice. The others all got the roll special which includes a salad and miso soup. All were standard typical lunch special sushi orders. Tuna avacado, shrimp tempora roll etc. My only issues is that for 4 orders they sent 4 small containers of soy sauce which is annoying. I’m a big guy i like soy sauce on my sushi and brown rice.

I came here twice, in the course of 4 days! My first meal with my bf was great. He ordered a soba noodle, and I had the bento box. Though they made some accommodations,(veg. dumplings instead of shumai), they fell short on others, white instead of brown rice for my box. I let it slide, in the interest of keeping the air light. We were both highly satiated, and used the 20% code on the menu, to dine in. However, the waitress wandering around with my bf’s phone was quite odd. After a wait for 7 min, we were finally approved for our 20% off. I don’t understand how management failed to inform their staff about this bit. It was a Wednesday, I wanted to take my mum here. It was a tad cold, and we were sat near the door, how a waitress doesn’t have the sense to get green tea, off the bat, I don’t know. Also how she can forget about it 2x, when asked, makes you wonder if she is hoping Jpop’s biggest manager will dine here and discover her? Anyway… we ordered 2 apps, and mum had the island shrimp, whilst I had the bento box– again. It was jarring to see white rice, instead of brown rice on my box. I know brown rice is more expensive, write that the customer must pay extra. Adding insult to injury, my mum received white instead of brown as well. We were also served ONE of our appetizers before our meal. The second one came after our courses were laid out. Luckily my mom hated her vegetables(the sauce was not at all Asian, instead was reminiscent of an Italian white wine rosemary sauce), so I ate them all, and she ate the appetizer. This is all communication issues, sure, but when the restaurant is NOT packed, there were 2 parties there, pay attention to your customer. The worst blow came when we asked for the 20% off, again the same waitress carried my phone into the kitchen was gone for a few minutes, and told me to keep typing help for a link to appear. Then she said she couldn’t honor the 20 off, then she said it was for next time. After raising my voice, and being aggressive we got the discount. Stupidly, I gave her too good of a tip, and left unsettled with my mom. Firstly, if you are not prepared to offer a discount, don’t. Don’t list it on your site, on your menu, or anywhere the human eye can see. Secondly, get better staff and inform them of the promo. Thirdly, this haggling aspect is not what dinning out is supposed to be, when we spent over 55.00 on a dinner for 2. I will not be back.

This place is not very special. The prices reflect Manhattan prices, but it is situated in Brooklyn. I would not likely come here again.

Of late, I have been ordering a lot of sushi delivery. Probably because(1) sushi makes for a tasty and comparatively healthy meal, and(2) it’s fucking freezing outside. When Kumo dropped off my last sushi deluxe meal, the miso soup was no longer inside the soup container. Rather, it had migrated into the now saturated napkins they provided. As far as I can tell(via sitting here and thinking about this, and not doing any actual detective work), there are two possibilities: 1. They knew they had faulty soup containers and strategically placed the napkins so as to soak up said soup and keep it off of the sushi. 2. This was just an accident, and I am reading way too much into the situation. I think both are strong contenders, but let’s just leave it at that. What really matters is that the sushi was quite fresh, and untainted by miso soup. I know you are very concerned about this situation going forward, and I promise to update you as it develops. ____________ TL; DR: The fish is good quality. The packaging for delivery could use a lot of work.

Got a menu of this place in our mailbox here at the office and sick of Ginza and the hour plus wait for deliver decided to give these guys a shot. They had a deal where if u order online the first time you get either free Shumai or Edamame. Got the 3 roll lunch special. I like that they give you soup AND salad because like the commercial says and is better than or. The Miso soup was good, not too watery and the salad was very good as well with cucumber and cherry tomatoes instead of just iceberg. The rolls were decent size and very fresh. Got the Snow Crab Avocado(never saw that roll on a lunch special menu before), Yellowtail Scallion and Spicy Tuna. I would recommend all of them. The free Shumai I chose were also very good with the right amount of sweetness. I will definitely order from them again ven if they are a bit more expensive than Ginza.
