I’m so glad I decided to order from here. The delivery was fast & the delivery person was so kind. The sushi is fresh even though I ordered at 10PM, and so yummy! I will defintely be ordering from here again. The Philadelphia Roll is AMAZING

I wouldn’t know. I never got to taste the food… After entering and getting menus, my wife and I watched for 10 minutes as the waitress did everything but take our order. She stood idly by the counter, waiting for food to come out to serve the police at another table, and did other things behind the counter(even though there were many other workers back there). Ok. We’re patient people. I understand. Perfection not expected from me. But then I got angry. Another customer comes in, and within 2 minutes, this customer gets a menu, and the waitress goes over to take her order!!! I stand up, and in a bit of a loud voice, say, «wait a minute, my wife and I were here 10 minutes before her». The waitress doesn’t even look up. Nobody behind the counter does or says anything. Nothing. NOTHING! I stand there for another few seconds, and say, again in a loud voice«you don’t want to serve us, we’re gone». Still no reaction. Nothing! One of the policemen eating looks up at me, not even in anger or concern, more like«hey, I understand». So we just left. Hey, mistakes are made. I’m not hardnosed. Most of my reviews are 5-stars. If SOMEONE would have at least said«sir, sorry for the confusion», I just would have sat my butt back down, problem solved, no further discussion. What kind of people are running this place? It leaves me wondering, if the place cares so little about customers, how much do they really care about the quality of food either. There are loads of Japanese restaurants up 86th Street. This establishment made my choices somewhat easier in the future. I truly don’t like giving negative reviews; when I don’t like the food, I simply don’t post on Unilocal. But Nagoya earned this one.

I really like this place. It’s my go-to sushi place when I’m in the area. The restaurant is clean. They don’t charge for the hot tea. Clean restroom. Nice enough service. And I love the prices. Enjoy!

I’ve never been here but I’ve ordered takeout from here many times. Me and my family used to love this place and would always order big orders like $ 50 — $ 60. Their sushi is pretty decent but their staff is full of very rude people. We called one time and they were extremely rude and acted as if they did not have time for our business. They basically told us «Stop ordering from here, you live too far away.» They could have told us that they shortened their delivery distance but instead they decided to be rude. Never ordering from here again.

I’ve never eaten inside, but I order from here all the time for delivery. Good comes within a half hour, is always hot(except the sushi of course) and delivery man is the sweetest thing! The food is always on point. Flavorful, fresh and delicious. My only complaint would be there is never enough sauce for the raw tuna. Other than that I really enjoy it.

My go-to place for when I have family over and the mediocre stuff just doesn’t cut it. I must have ordered from here dozens of times already. The delivery is prompt, the delivery person courteous and wonderful to interact with, and the food of an exceptional quality. The prices are very decent and I much prefer them to the Fuki sushi down the street.

Nagoya is absolutely fantastic. I don’t know why it has so little stars! Hands down the best sushi spot I’ve ever been to. I was introduced to this place by my boyfriend; we always come here! PROS: –the fish is ALWAYS fresh & delicious –the interior is modern, comfortable –the food is delicious –the aesthetic presentation of the food –the food is delicious –food is made promptly –the price –the –food –is –DELICIOUS!!! CONS: –the waitress that we usually have looks irritated(we don’t really care because we usually come at night and she may have had a long day, but still it would be nice to be greeted more welcoming-ly) Overall, place is very clean, the staff is friendly, and the food never disappoints! 10/10, definitely recommend.

My go to place a few blocks away from me. Been there a few times and food has been amazing each time. Took my brother there and he loved their hibachi steaks and rice. Will be a forever customer for sure. And the one time i went to pick up they were running a little behind and offered me something to drink while i waited. Super nice people.

This is my favorite to-go sushi spot. I love salmon, so the freshness really matters and this place has the freshest salmon there is in Brooklyn. Love their just eel roll($ 3.50) and def. their salmon rolls. Salmon sashimi pieces are thicker than most places I’ve went too and is totally worth $ 1. Spicy mayo = 50 cent(either dine in or out). The décor is cute, and service is pretty 4⁄5. They didn’t offer me tea until I asked :( But other than that, I’ll come here all day everyday. I come here so often, the two waitresses probably recognizes me.

I hardly come here but when i do it doesn’t dissapoint. This is a good affordable neighborhood sushi spot and i would say it is even better than ICHI, it doesn’t have an omakase menu but their sushi is fresh. they have $ 1– $ 3 pieces of sushi/sashimi and a variety of appetizers to chose from. I have tried the nagoya pizza which i thought wasn’t bad and their blue point oysters are BOMB~! If you are in the bensonhurst area i would definitely recommend trying this spot.

I like ordering from here since they have online order and and the sushi were ok. Yesterday I ordered a shrimp avocado roll, when I came home and open my order, I was surprised by the amount of avocado and shrimp. Like 90% of avocado and 10% of shrimp? At least the avocado is fresh… and my tuna hand roll is fresh…

I used to frequent this restaurant alot in the summer cause the food was decent and my girlfriend wrote a nice review for them. As I continued to order food from here, I’ve started getting stomach aches. So I laid off the sushi for a bit. Picked up dinner on my way home today, and ultimately regret it. There was a curly hair on my $ 10 special roll, gag! And I have a bone caught in my throat from the eel roll. My husband is also not feeling very feeling kosher after consuming his tuna roll. I don’t think I’ll be returning to this establishment.

My friends and I saw this place as we passed by 86st a few times and decided to give it a go. This place isn’t the best Japanese restaurant, but for this area in Brooklyn, it’s probably one of the best if you’re looking to get some sushi. The décor is modern and pretty nice though some details of the place made me question their designers taste. BUT this isn’t about décor and more about the food. Their food is pretty decent and I’ve ordered their chirashi my first time there. It was pretty good and I was satisfied. Customer service is good too though I feel they’re a little slow paced. Pricing is average and not too expensive for what you get. Ever since discovering this place, my friends and I will always come here for sushi in Brooklyn. Any other jap restaurant on 86st is really just bleh

For the price it’s pretty good. The oysters were super fresh. The wait time for the food took a while. W and I came here for some sushi so we got the love boat for 2 and a dozen oysters. Presentation of the food was great! Check out pictures and the video. Will be coming back here on a sushi crave.

Ordered a median rare(50% done) teriyaki beef, it comes out rare(35% done) Sushi are decent, Thai tea tastes very good. I told the waitress to heat up the teriyaki beef, we waited like 15 mins, it never comes out again, really takes that long to re-heat it? Since the teriyaki beef never comes out, we asked for check .We waited another 15 mins, however, the check never come to our table(really that long to print a check?), therefore, I went to the desk and leave $ 2 tips and yes I mean it. This is my first Unilocal review, and it was that bad to make me post it.

Nagoya is a decent place for sushi. I usually order online for delivery and the service is rather slow but I have never had problems with my orders. The place is nice and clean with a waterfall door entrance. Their ramen seafood soup is huge but very tasty. Order it for two people to share. Sushi is not the best. Rice often seems to be overcooked which gives sushi rather soft chewy taste. I prefer them to be not that soft. Overall, it is a small good sushi place for lunch or dinner.

Been going around trying special rolls from sushi restaurants around my neighborhood. Tiffany roll to go: Crunchy lobster inside topped with spicy tuna, cream cheese and black tobiko. Crunch tastes stale, seaweed is chewy. Terrible. However, cream cheese, spicy tuna, and tobiko tastes normal. Something in the combination doesn’t work very well. Might be the crew cheese and spicy lobster. Odessa roll to go: Crunchy spicy tuna and eel wrapped inside layered with salmon(i think spicy mayo), very little avocado and crunch on top. Tastes decent over all but again. Stale crunch and chewy seaweed which disrupts the whole taste of each piece. Cheap a la carte. Got 2 red clams. Wrapped really cool but unfortunately it’s got this kinda of dull fishy taste to it. The wait for my take out was quite long. Would still come back to try other rolls. Would definitely hope that the crunch isn’t stale and the seaweed isn’t wet/chewy next time. But to their defense, maybe it got wet and chewy because it was take out and it took some time for me to actually eat it.

Unfortunately, their quality has really decreased. Without fail, I always find fish bones in my spicy salmon roll and it makes the rest of the meal unappetizing. Portions are small and the rolls fall apart very easily. The only good thing is that they have their own WiFi.

Came here after doing bikram and wasn’t looking for anything particularly heavy. EUREKA, i’ll have sushi! This place was sort of on my way home and I knew they had a lunch special but I couldn’t remember what it was. Checked online and the lunch special goes until 3:30PM… SUCCESS! i had 30 min to get there. When I got there, turns out it wasn’t that good of a lunch special anyways so the next time there’s no need to rush. I ordered myself a kani salad, a philadelphia roll and a salmon avocado hand roll. The basic rolls are only $ 2.75 so a good deal if you just want a light meal. The restaurant was quiet and the waitress was polite. There is a $ 10 minimum if you intend to use your credit card.

It was empty on a weeknight but my friend said it was a decent place, so I figure I give it a try. Out of all the places on 86th st, the quality was not good. The salmon salad was ok, they gave plenty of salmon and it looked like that was the only fresh fish that night. We also had the sashimi and sushi for two. I also decided to try a piece of toro. More than half the sashimi was somewhat frozen, the rolls were not organized and fell apart. The only fresh fish was salmon. I didn’t enjoy my experience.

Probably the worst take out I’ve ever gotten. I ordered garlic scallops and a salmon sashimi salad. The garlic scallops was a rip off 5 pieces for $ 10 bucks? Seriously? Not only that, the sauce was incredibly salty. The salmon sashimi salad was worse. It was NOT edible. The salmon did not taste like sashimi quality, incredibly briny and fishy. I spit it out after one bite. The dressing was too heavy. Avoid this place at all costs.
