First to review, really? Apparently!
I came to this store surrepticiously. I saw someone with a messenger bag I liked, and noted down the name «Cyclus». I found they are a Columbian brand, and the website listed this new york store as a distributer.
So I called them a few days ago, and got the answering machine speaking behind the fax machine beep! So today I was in the neighborhood and decided to stop by. Turns out they are only open on Thu/​Fri/​Sat 12 – 7, so I called again. This time the guy answered. Turns out he wouldn’t mind if I stopped by as he happened to be there today. Nice!
So I stop by. Very cool store, friendly Argentinian guy is the owner. So I tell him I’m really interested in these bags and he shows me the ones he carries. I ask him if they fit a macbook pro. He asks what size & I tell him the 15″. He says oh yeah, they fit all the macbook pros except the 17″. He even grabbed a ruler to measure them to show me they’d fit. It seemed a bit small, but I really liked the bag. So I went for it. $ 130 bones…
Get the bag home, and what do you know it doesn’t fit. Not even close! Well honestly I really love the bag so I’m gonna keep it.
I have to say though, I would have given this store four stars easily had they not played me. Obviously the guy has never tried a macbook in these bags.
