The food quality is usually great and the portion size is huge for the money. The issue is the service/​business acumen. I had a menu that said «% off if you follow on IG» I presented the coupon and was told it was no longer valid. Then the cashier placed another menu/​coupon with the same promotion in my bag.
1) Phone service is usually super friendly or super rude no-​in between
2)Delivery service is never consistent, either the driver didn’t show up or you wait 2 – 3 hours for your order
3) I love the food here, and want to support a black business, but the customer service is lacking

Update: so it’s 9:52 pm on a Saturday night. Food still hasn’t arrived. My boyfriend ordered our dinner 3 hours ago. Not only are we hungry but we are highly upset.

I can not express in words how much I love this place lol. First of al the jerk shrimp and salmon rasta pasta is worth my drive from Queens everytime! And lets not forget the shrimp fried rice is effin delicious! I usually get it with the sweet chilli chicken which is finger licking good! The food does not disappoint! I promise!

I had heard great things about this place. So I decided to try it on a whim. Not only do they not have a menu listing all the prices in the store but the written menu is difficult to read. I was slightly drunk when I came in and I ordered a quesdilla thinking it would be cheap and fast. I paid $ 10 for it and it took almost 30 minutes. I was expecting a large portion but instead got four small piece. Four! For 10 dollars. I can go to the corner store and get more food better prepared than this.
I realize now I should have gone with something that is more their specialty but this experience really turned me off. Very disappointed with my food. Had to make more food after I was done.

I like their jerk salmon w/​broccoli & carrots… They’re way too expensive for no reason and regardless of how early I call in my order it’s NEVER ready when I arrive… Your order is a hit or miss, it never comes out the same… I’ve called in on several occasions for pick up, but I’ve had delivery twice and both times is took 2hrs for them to deliver… With that said, the food is tasty (hence the 2 stars) but I only order from them when I’m out of ideas of where I want to eat… Overall use them as your VERY LAST option, if you can go somewhere else you should…

Where can I start this horror show? First they took 2 hours to deliver my order. When I called the place they put me on hold. Then they informed me that I would have to call the delivery man myself if I was interested in canceling the order. When the food finally arrived, the delivery man had the nerve to tell me that I would have to come outside to pick my food. Since they did not do door deliveries. All in all one of, if not the worse experience I’ve had with any food delivering service. At one point I thought there was going to be a camera waiting outside my apartment, since someone was obviously playing some kind of prank on me. If you want to sit around hungry waiting for people with out a clue on the subject of service, look no further this is the place. Horrific service from a classless food establishment.

This place is great! Really nice employees and the food is so good. Especially the Rasta Pasta. And the chicken… Basically everything. We walked in late the first time and talked to he owner for a good while. We were curious about some items on the menu and since they were closing soon he have us free samples before our food came out and we were hooked! We aren’t from NY so we came back on our last night of vacation. Definitely will recommend when my friends are in NY… And if I ever come back to NY, I’ll be back here!

This spot is good as hell. I always get the Mac and cheese which is good and grilled chicken. The sauce they use on the chicken is excellent. U normally call in my order because the wait can be long if you walk in and place your order. Will definitely be back.

Love this place. Black owned business and I couldn’t be more proud. First learned about this place from Instagram and my hubby and I would always look at the pictures and our mouth would water lol. We finally took a late night drive out there (ordered ahead of time) and it was worth the travel from Queens, we really enjoyed and will be back again to try another item on the menu.

I stopped in Wednesday, and had shrimp rasta pasta. It was amazing. Layers of flavor. You got the perfectly cooked, and seasoned grilled shrimp, creamy, but slightly spicy cream sauce, peppers, onion, and deliciousness. it was empty when i arrived, and i was delighted. i’ll be back to try their fried chicken, and mac pie

The food just may be good by I’ll never know because in about 15 mins I’m ready to walk right outta here! I called in an order at 7:50 they said it would take 40 mins. I got here at 8pm thinking that it was going to be already done… The time is 9:20 and I’m still waiting… I like to think I’m a patient gal but mannnnn listen I’ve been waiting so long that I’m no longer hungry.

When I say I love o’s, it’s an understatement! It’s really a treat when I come from far rockaway! When I visit I order several of my favorites like the AMAZING creamy cheesy Mac Pie (baked macaroni and cheese) and the best rasta pasta I’ve ever had. this place is a Brooklyn gem! on top of the good food the service is that of a visit to a friends house, warm and attentivefollow o’s on Instagram @osgrillspot1 for additions the menu

It sucks that such a great place has low reviews almost all based on delivery time. I know even when I’m picking up food I have to call way in advance to avoid a wait. That’s the price you pay for fresh food. This isn’t half assed Chinese food that can be cooked and delivered in half an hour.
Anywho… Great food. I always say I’m gonna try something other than rasta pasta when I go but still end up getting it. Jerk BBQ Salmon, BBQ shrimp, and the BBQ chicken are all on point. The girls at the front are great and offer very good customer service in my own opinion.
Once again, just call in advance and you’ll be more than happy with the meal.

the food here is amazing. however, if you want o’s for lunch, order at breakfast time. I have never waited under two and a half hours for my food. the customer service is subpar and the restaurant is not sympathetic towards excessive wait times. it is definitely in your best bet to do a pick up order.

It sucks! I ordered the food 2 hours ago on Friday nightmare! They hadn’t sent out the food yet! I called them like 20 times! they finally picked up the phone said I would wait for an another half hour!!! Slowest delivery ever!!! And I called them just now! They told me the deliver guy had five orders so I’m gonna wait for another 10 mins! Really? 2 and 40 mins just for a BBQ chicken??? I’m still waiting now!
Ok nice! I just cancelled the order. It’s ridiculous!

This place is great. I Went after looking at all the pics on Instagram.

The service is slowwww. I’ve called ahead before, arrived late to pick up my food, and STILL had to wait for my food to be made.
I’ve only had the rasta pasta and it’s soooo bomb — it’s the only reason why I keep coming back. I’ve had it with salmon and honey mustard chicken tenders and both were great.
The portions are generous so the price is right — I always have enough for 2 meals or to share/​split with a friend.
Would definitely recommend, just make sure you call ahead… WAYYYY ahead.
