I have bought a purse and shoes from this particular location. I would say that out of the payless locations in bay ridge /​bensonhurst area that this location is the best maintained but does not have as much of a selection to choose from. Quite often I have walked out of here feeling like there was nothing to look at! So there are pros and cons. The staff also varies. I have gone in and found that sometimes staff were super helpful and friendly, and other times the staff were too interested in gossiping to tend to customers. Not my favorite location, but will go here if I just want to look around.

I love this store and have gotten many shoes here that have held up. The boots are especially great in price & fit. They also have very good sales, and their sneakers are wonderful. I would highly recommend this as a go-​to shoe store in Bay Ridge.

The only reason I ever go into Payless is to buy their canvas shoes. The problem is they never have my size. I would look online to see the different designs a specific model offer but when I go into the store, they will have everything but the design I’m looking for. I would find the same design for bigger sizes but that’s not useful for me.
If you want to find anything in here, you are going to have to look real hard. I would recommend going to another Payless store or just buying it online.

This place is perfect if you want to get sandals or cheap sneakers… The place is often organized and the lady there is very help in trying to find the perfect size…

If you go recently to this location, you would know that this payless remodeled their store. Customer service can be good but the customers themselves can be bad. It can get messy but their shoes selections can be better than other locations. If you see a style that you like, dont wait get it right now or you will later find out that they are sold out because they get a lot of people shopping there.
