T Baar

This is an decent bubble tea joint. Located outside of Fei Long super market. Each time I’ve ordered here the lines are usually long but it goes quick.
They do promotions all the time with buy one get one drinks and with a wide selection on the menu.

really like T Baar especially the constellation drinks. I used to come before they became super popular so sometimes there’s a line to get your drink but it’s not that bad of a wait. a lot of locations in 8^th ave, every few blocks or so

Would we come back? Heck yea!
But the drinks are quite sweet though. They do have a lot of choices so maybe the one we got was just too much. There are no seats, it’s a grab and go place for when you’re doing shopping or running errands on 8^th Ave.

I just had three large drinks… And I’m pretty sure I’m going to regret it later…
There’s about four T Barr locations in eight avenue… this is one of the locations i go to during the weekends…
its just a small booth… easy and quick place to get a sweet beverage… the service isn’t all that great… wish they didn’t look so fed up with the people asking question or wanting a customized drink… but their drinks are really creative and tasty… compare to the other bubble tea shops in the area… green tea latte with red bean and bubbles is a personal favorite and the smoothies are good also. One of the best!

I was in the mood for bubble tea after my doctor’s appointment so I used the almighty Unilocal & this place was right up the block.
I almost missed it because I was looking for a restaurant type deal.
It’s pretty much a stand, no where to sit.
Pretty standard bubble milk green tea.
I liked that the bubbles weren’t huge.
I saw that they also make milkshakes & smoothies.
I didn’t get a punch card, like every else who reviewed. :-(

Giving this a 2 because what makes a bubble tea shop successful is the bubbles or the tapioca. Everyone compliments how the tapioca are boiled to perfection, but they’re actually not chewy like the traditional bube teas. But the flavor of the drink is not lacking.
I will continue to come here because it is situated right next to my parent’s favorite dim sum restaurant and the large local grocery store.

Yum!!! I love their bubbles, they are just the right size. The honey dew flavor was perfect! I can’t wait to try the watermelon smoothie in summer. But most importantly, I love that I could get my tea «warm». I never like ice in my bubble tea (I feel like it waters down the drink), nor do I like hot bubble tea. So when the friendly cashier offered to make it warm, it made me so happy! Definitely coming back to use my buy 5 get 1 free punch card.

Pretty good flavor and the boba had a nice chewy consistency to them.
They also give you a punch card so you can get a free one after how ever many drinks.

My go to spot whenever im grocery shopping here or eating at the food court or dim sum at bamboo garden. I choose from mango orange slush, peach green tea, passion fruit slush, jasmine green tea. They also have fresh squeeze juice. Better yet, they have buy 5 drinks get one free cards! Looooove it!

The only to go spot for bubble tea around here. After grocery shopping at Fei Long Supermaket or dim sum at Bamboo Garden I come and grab a cup to share with my 3 year old. They have a red bean slush and a milk green tea with aloe and grass jelly, which are my usual ones. Also a must try are the orange mango slush and the grapefruit drink! Remember to get your cards punched! Buy 5 get 1 free!

Great fruit/​veggie juice blends. Also the watermelon milkshake is delicious — highly recommend! Prices are average ~$ 3 – 5 a drink.
FYI the store is just a stall — no place to sit and no indoor area.

We discovered Tbaar on our walk home through the neighborhoods. This Tbaar is easily lost among the many outside stalls by the supermarket and the supermarket itself but it is not to be missed.
We, too, are big fans of the newcomers Kung Fu Tea and Cha Time but if you put brand loyalty aside you might be surprised with Tbaar! The bubble tea and smoothies are great. Cheap too!
Tbaar is really no frills. There is not even a chair or space to hang out in. Everything is to-​go. Their standard bubble milk tea is filling, well mixed, and the tapioca is cooked just right. Not too chewy and not hard. It has the right amount of bite. I like to buy the taro smoothie. It is rich with the right consistency. Icy cold too! Bubbles too, of course.
I can’t wait till I’m in the neighborhood again. I’m getting a craving for this tea right now.

T-​Baar is one of the original tenants when Fai Long Supermarket expanded with a food court. Instead of being inside with the rest of the food stalls, this is one of the few that is located outside by the front entrance.
It is a small stall that is big enough to order the drinks but does not have any sitting or even standing space. That matters little since you have access to the tables and chairs inside the actual food court area.
The bubble tea is good yet very average in flavor. Good chewiness for the tapioca pearls and a good selection of flavors to choose from.
I’m not sure if the place is related to the Dumpling Stall to the right of them but they always have a promotion going on where you could buy a regular bubble tea with dumplings and save about 50 cents compared to buying them separately. You have to buy one at one location pay for it, then go to the other stall to pick up the other part of the combo. The dumplings next door, like the bubble tea are good and would satisfy if you have a craving for it, just be aware there are better of both if you walk further into the neighborhood.

I lvoe to get my Apple/​Celery/​Cucumber smoothie on here, maybe with some honey. Super human sized straws in mad colors… the stand is close to the sidewalk, so its quick in and out.

Well its that time of the year again, Watermelon Smoothies and BBQ food. Service was fast and reliable. And that iced cold smoothie hits the spot every time.
Don’t forget to get your buy 5 and get 1 free card. This is some really yummy smoothie. And the bubble is always fresh. Never had a problem with any of the 4 locations on 8^th avenue.
