The best tacos I’ve had from a taco truck. The guys are super friendly and the food is amazing. Steak and spicy pork tacos are a must try!

This is my favorite taco truck, maybe my favorite place to eat in Williamsburg. No exaggeration. They are affordable, have a variety of options(not just tacos!) and most importantly the food is tasty as heck. This truck is right outside of the subway station which makes it easy to stumble on over on your way in or out of Williamsburg after a night on the town. I have never had or seen any issues with the cleanliness of the food, workers or actual truck itself. The steak and chicken is well season and cooked, and the tortillas are fresh! Only ONCE did they run out of chorizo when I stopped by but it forced me to try the spicy pork which is now a new favorite. Furthermore they don’t skimp on the fillings or the sauces unlike other food trucks in the city — but you’ll need to ask for more napkins… go ahead, don’t be shy.

I would say their tacos are slightly above average.

After a wild night out in Brooklyn, my friends and I decide to have a quick bite before we went to bed. So we decide to come to this food truck and we made our line and waited for our turn, I was the second one to order, I choose to eat the torta of steak, without beans, my other friend order the taco and my other one order a steak quesadilla. My order came around 15 minutes later a good timing, one of my friends order came 25 minute after his place his order, and my last friend did not got his food. A lot of people came order and got their order first than my last friend; even my other friends that arrive long time after we did, they ate first. After almost 50 minutes of waiting for the order my friend decide to ask, where his food was, the guy in the truck say oh; I am sorry we don’t have steak anymore. That they run out of steak can happen anywhere, but what uncomfortable my friend, is that they waited more than 45 minutes to tell him that they did not have steak anymore. He got his money back and when to another place to place an order. Even though my torta was good, the customer service giving to my others friends made me give then only 2 stars.

After eating at this incredible food truck I can’t eat anywhere else when I’m in Williamsburg! Their burritos are so delicious and I crave them all the time. Other burritos no longer hit the spot after eating the burritos from Tacos Morelos. It’s nice that there are some benches nearby where you can sit and eat. It’s a perfect spot to people watch right in the middle of bustling Williamsburg, and to enjoy your incredible food while doing so.

They have the most amazing rice and bean veg tacos! Pretty cheap too! Must must must have! Plus the taco truck is right off the first subway stop in Brooklyn on the L. So it is super easy to spot if one is visiting Williamsburg.

My favorite thing about this Taco Truck is the price! In the heart of Williamsburg near the corner of Bedford and N7th Street it is very hard to find yummy food for cheap! But this Taco Truck totally does it! It’s really affordable, but still really yummy! And seems to be good quality! The person working it is nice too!

Such a great location for this food truck, amidst the buzz of the Williamsburg bar scene. So glad they serve soft tacos by default, because I can’t stand the hard-shell variety. Their barbacoa(shredded goat) is a must-have, along with the pork carnitas. Super satisfying after a long night of boozing~!

A tiny bit disappointing, I’m not gonna lie. Looking at the tacos, I was ready for a delicious chicken taco. But after a couple bites, I was kind of sad. The taco was not nearly as seasoned as I had hoped it would be. That, and it was three dollars for only one taco which made things a bit more disappointing. I’ll probably be trying a different taco truck next time… Sorry.

What’s a dude who’s not eaten his west coast tacos/burritos in LA for a long time do when he hits NYC at 1am at night, TACOTRUCKTIME!!! So my buddy suggested this place and I agreed immediately since I had not had any good tacos/burritos in a while. It’s bascially next to a Dunkin Donut if you’re looking for a landmark. Interestingly if you look down the street, it also says theres a starbucks there but when I walked under the sign, it was a white staircase to ???(heaven?). anyways, I got a burrito and my buddy got two tacos. 3 dollars a taco is quite expensive. Now I know its NYC but I’ve hit up quite a few trucks and hole in the walls in LA and I’ve never recalled one taco ever being 3 dollars. King Taco in La is like 1.50… Maybe its just food/ingredients in NYC is more expensive but I felt that was slightly steep. the Burrito was 7 dollars which I felt was so much more worth it and more comparable to LA prices. Anyways, orders came out quick, ingredients looked fresh. We took our food back and I had that first bite of the burrito and it was like going to heaven. Nothings beats an oily yet filling burrito in the wee hours of the morning and this burrito would suffice if they were open at like 4 or 5am. I had the spicy pork and I thought the flavor was good and it wasn’t extremely spicy. I appreciated the rice in it as well. Food wise, I would say its quite comparable to LA stuff and ingredient quality(aka the meat) was as good as LA or exceeds LA food trucks. I recommend hitting it up. I will if I am back in the area. Cash only. No line on 1am on a Friday night. Note: I did look at other reviews afterwards and people had different things to say about the sanitation. the only I comment have is: no diarrhea after = winning(obviously not a true measure of sanitation, hahaha)

We’ve passed by this truck many times while in Williamsburg but never had the chance to try. What a mistake! We finally tried the food here and was pleasantly surprised and thoroughly satisfied! We ordered spicy pork Torta, steak burrito, and pork burrito. The torta was just the right amount of food to share, if you’re not trying to fill up. The pork was tasty and tender. Each bite includes more than enough meat laden with avocado and spicy sauce. The flavor was just perfect and the price was great for this area. This is a definite must have for a quick bite before drinking or even a late night bite after drinking.

Dear Tacos Morelos guys, Love the hairnet and the friendly service. But most of all love the tacos. The Lengua. The Cecina. The Chorizo. The proximity to my home. The open-so-late-ness. Also love the other-not-so-common corn tortilla meals — The huaraches, a thick masa oval piled high with treats. The sopes, chewy thicker tortilla topped with meat, beans and cheese. The tamales rich with inner flavor. And, in spite of the implications of being grateful for a Dunkin Donuts, I love that anyone can sit on the benches in front of DD and enjoy a pleasant outdoor romantic moment with your Mexican food. Sincerely, Your Neighbor

— if you’re from the west coast, you’ll know about good tacos and what it costs out west at a truck… this is just as good, but at $ 3 a taco… IT’S 100% WORTHIT. — came here 3 out of 4 nights in a row. and tried almost every kind of taco they had. — not open during the day, this is strictly a night time/wee early morning sort of joint. — if you dont try it… you will regret it forever.

This place is filthy and disgusting. The guy puts his hand down his pants to adjust himself while wearing gloves, rubs his nose, then uses those same gloved hands to wrap my burrito, how sanitary. Everyone getting food there is always drunk so they don’t care or notice I assume but while the food is good the sanitary conditions are unbelievable. I can go further but it is a food truck, a nasty one. Oh and it is owned by an MS13 gang member, at least that is what they guy who wrapped my burrito said when I told him I didn’t, want it, wasn’t paying, and he proceeded to threaten me with is co-worker. Good thing I am not small and roll deep. Next time you eat there think about the filth and where your money goes. Next time you hear a story about human trafficking and female slaves, just remember that you are too ignorant to care where your money goes.

Great chicken tortas. Warm and tastes great. The cashier is very careful handling food and money. Taking gloves when taking money. No upset stomachs with this truck. Recommend. Tortas $ 6 — nice size too.

If the line is long, wait. Seriously. If it’s past like 3−4am and you want tacos off Bedford there are other options but they will all have a wait and this place is the most worth it/fastest Tacos are $ 3 but that’s standard in gentrified williamsburg. I had a burrito with literally everything in it, and everything was delicious. I was drunk so take this review for what that’s worth. Also convenient seating, I presume thanks to Dunkin Donuts. Really curious to come back and try the Tlacoyos — pronounced tla-COY-yo for you gringos(I had to look it up) So I’ll report back on that one.

I know tacos are in vogue(and rightfully so) but when I get Mexican I like to go for one of two things: an order of sopes, or a torta. Unfortunately I haven’t tried the sopes at this classic stand yet, but I popped in for a torta enchilada(spicy pork sandwich) on my way to the L train. The torta was good, but certainly not the best I’ve had in the city. The meat didn’t have a crazy amount of flavor to begin with, and it was overpowered by the taste of the beans. Also didn’t taste a whole lot of avo or the white cheese. Overall just a bit bland for my taste. That said, a decent value, and the guys working the truck are super nice.

Bargain tacos from a truck I wanted a quick snack before heading to Brooklyn Flea last weekend, so I gave this place a try. Their $ 2.50 tacos seemed like a good deal and I went with spicy pork and steak tacos. It was very quick and I had my piping hot tacos within two minutes. Their ingredients were very fresh and I appreciated the lime wedge and radish slices they include with the tacos. The lime really cut through the dense taco, which had lettuce, salsa, guacamole, hot sauce, and cilantro(a definite must on these tacos). The spicy pork was great, nice slowly roasted taste to it and very tender and easy to bite through. I preferred it to the steak tacos, whose meat was a little tough and not as flavorful. The spicy pork also had a perfect level of spiciness, a slight tinge without the desperation for water. The double corn tortillas wrap everything into a nice little package. Whether you’re looking for lunch or a quick snack. this wallet-friendly truck will be able to fulfill your Mexican food cravings. Dishes to try: Spicy Pork Taco

Good stuff! Freshly made tasty tacos! Especially when you are seriously buzzed after a Unilocal Elite event. After the most recent event at the nearby Le Comptoir restaurant my new fellow Unilocal friends led me to this hopping little taco and burrito truck. Tacos only $ 2.50 each. Burritos $ 7.50. Tortas $ 5.00. Tasty as all hell, and cheap enough! Plus, you can get pretty much any filling — chicken, beef, pork, vegetable, sausage, goat. Yes, I said goat! Good sauces to load onto your food too. Worth a try if in the area and want a quick bite on the run. Thanks to Ron, Wing, and the gang for escorting me around town that night and turning me on to this rolling delight.
