The Burger Guru

Fries are super soggy, burger patty is bland and absolutely tasteless. You figure they are the guru, they should be good? On top of disappointment on the food, the server short changed me .30 cents. Yes .30 cents is nothing at all but its the principal that’s f up. She can be doing this to 30 customers a day and that’s an extra $ 10 a day, $ 300 a month. I will walk further and get burgers at Dumont. This place is whacked.

I had the vegan burger with onion rings. It was a little pricey $ 18 bucks but I would order it again. It was delicious and came with all the burger toppings I love like pickles, onion, lettuce and tomato. Service was fast, I ordered through grub hub. However it’s not exactly vegan with the bun but I’m a vegetarian so that’s ok, plus they pack mayo on the side with it, I’d just call it a vegetarian burger since it is a meat place. If your vegan you definitely have to ask some questions about this burger.

Pretty good burger and priced well. When I went, the music was so loud that the waitress and I could barely hear each other. She never turned it down.
Hard to enjoy dinner when Skrillex is on so hard.

This is a cool spot in Williamsburg to grab a burger. We started with the spinach and artichoke dip. The dip is without a doubt house made. With little pieces of pita bread on the side you can’t go wrong. You definitely won’t want to eat to much of that though as the burgers are huge. I had a classic burger with onion rings and french fries. I definitely thought that the burger was good. This place is bright and airy in the back area. With a relaxed and chill environment you can definitely enjoy your food and chat at the same time. Some of the other spots in Williamsburg are really crowded and loud. Perfect spot to grab a burger I definitely recommend!

hands down the best vegetarian burger I’ve had. Actual patty is homemade with chunks of veggies– beets, beans, etc, visible. Got it loaded, onions, lettuce, pickles, cheese. Really good lunch. I’d give it 5 stars, but their delivery service has been spotty.

Went here for the first time a few days ago. Whether you are into burgers or not this place has a little something for everyone. You can create your own burger, so many options to choose from. The food is decently portioned.
The staff was very attentive, the décor of the place was great. You have the option to sit inside or «outside». You can have the outdoor feel without actually sitting outside, which is nice.
I would definitely recommend this place and will be back.

Came here for dinner, was the only one in the restaurant. There were about 6 people working and we waiting for 15 minutes before getting up and walking out because no one came to take our order. Disappointing.

Everything was congealed in a cold slime with an over cooked patty ordered medium rare.

Oh my god!!! Best burger and sand which place on the northside! And that house sauce, unbelievable, wish I had the recipe! No complaints whatsoever on this place, if you like a good burger, than you need to come here, if you don’t like burgers, that’s fine everything else is to die for as well!

Incredible! First time. The food here was so much better than I’d expected! Came here because Teddy’s (across the street and a fav) was way too crowded and seemed to be doing their best to imitate the worst Bar Rescue test round EVER. Best thing that could have happened because the burger was probably THE BEST burger I’ve ever eaten. I swear. Nothing fancy, shmancy but simply fricken DELICIOUS. I’ve done the dive, the fancy shmancy and everything in btwn and this burger beat them all. On a brioche bun so fresh I couldn’t believe it. In a word… perfect. I ordered the classic… medium. OMG. Fries… string and crispy. Yes, please.
My daughter ordered the vegan burger and was blown away. Wish I’d tried it, but I’ll take her word for it. Her girlfriend had the classic like me and the mac n cheese. Mac and cheese is like what I imagine crack would be like. Again, nothing fancy. No weird additions… just pasta and cheese… and yet it was to f’in die for. WTF?
Service., perfect and friendly. Price? Wow.

Meh, had the kobe beef burger, it was mediocre at best… the menu tells you what style beer but not the actual name of it.I.E. (lPA) if you drink beer you know there are big differences between ipa’s. Girlfriends Vodka and club came out with almost no Vodka in it, had to send it back for more… the manager brought the wrong check to our table. I wouldn’t go back here.

This place is the place to go for real bar food and best burgers in the Willy B!!!
The wait staff is incredibly sweet and they never rush you! The place is loaded with tv’s and they always put on a futbol match for my Dad to feel right at home while eating!
Go solo, with company or a busload of people FUN, FUN, FUN!

My friends and I were at Burger Guru last night. After 10 minutes of sitting at a table with no service, I went to the host stand and said we would like to order. The waiter came to our table and TOLD us that we have to wait because he is working with another table right now. Said to wait 2 minutes. After another 10 minutes, no one had brought us water, no one had taken a drink order, no one paid ANY attention to us. And it was NOT busy by any means. We got up and left because why would anyone stay?

OMG food was sooo good! Hot and fresh!!! I would definitely return to this place or other franchises

You can’t go wrong with this spot! The burgers and shakes are always spot on! If you’re looking for a cozy place to have great food this is your stop.

We are visiting New York and weren’t sure where to eat. The Main Street of Bedford was a bit overwhelming so we walked to 7^th and found this place. The owner greeted us outside and helped us to a table. Our server was the bartender and very attentive. Our food was delicious! I highly recommend the sweet potatoes fries!!!

My first and last burger will be at the burger guru, the Village burger will have to be my favorite, runny fried egg, bacon and a juicy grass feed burger with a side of hand cut french fries. Breakfast brunch and dinner all in one.
The Cobb salad is also a favorite of mine, must try. Just add chicken !!!
There’s also a new duck burger, come and give it a try.

Average burger, average place. I was not really impressed by the taste.
The bartender was nice however she lacked the knowledge of a bartender. She had to read from a piece of paper to make drinks.

Was recommended by a friend to check this place out. The food was decent. Service was good but definitely overpriced for what it is. I dont mind paying 20 bucks for a burger but it better be amazing. Dont know if i would go out of my way to come back to this place.

My roommate and I were both craving burgers and stumbled on this place. The burgers are a little expensive but if you are in the mood for a quality, classic burger this is the place to go. They also have sweet potato fries which I believe should be a staple at any place that sells burgers and fries. The sweet potato fries were a wide and juicy and delicious.
I went for the turkey burger because it also had seasonings in it and our waiter said it was better than the classic guru burger because it had more flavor. I was happy with the burger and the way it was cooked. The service was kind of slow but we weren’t in a hurry, so if you’re looking for a relaxed, classic meal this is the place to go.

Der Burger Guru hat auf jeden Fall gute und leckere Burger! Die Auswahl ist recht groß mit ca. 10 Burger. Die Fritten sind frisch und selbstgemacht.
Wir waren zwei mal dort und würde wieder hingehen.
Das Restaurant ist ok. Die Toiletten sind eher spartanisch daher nicht volle 5 Sterne!
Preislich fängt es bei 8 – 10 $ an bis ca. 12 – 15 $.
