Man this place was ratchet. I’m kind of sad to see it go

This is a place for teenagers 18 and down. Too bad I had to find that out after I paid the $ 25 cover to get in where the dance music was I believe reggae and then an extra $ 5 for the VIP bracelet to go upstairs to enjoy the electronic music.

They let 13 year olds in there and its dirty. Everyones on drugs or passed out drunk, its gross. They have no ac, watered down drinks. If your over 18 dont even waste your time going here.

The Electric Warehouse can either be ABSOLUTELYMAGICAL or terrible, depending on the event. Last summer, I came here for a beach-themed party that turned out to be a bust. On the other hand, I’ve attended several rave hosted here and had the time of my life! Young, non-judgmental, alternative crowd. It doesn’t start getting packed until midnight and later. The bathrooms are decently clean for a place that hosts thousands of people throughout the night. Upstairs, there’s a more intimate space that has mini-balconies off to the side with a great view of the main room. There’s also an outside area for smokers, where they tend to set up another DJ or merchant booth. The bar is overpriced for the tiny plastic cups they give you, so don’t forget to pre-game elsewhere. Overall, it was a perfect place to dance until dawn, if you’re a fan of EDM.

Horrible, horrible, horrible. Cops ruined the event for all party goers. It looks like its held together with glue and cardboard. I don’t care about gentrification, this place is in the ghetto.

This place must have gotten a MASSIVE facelift and overhaul, going by what I heard and these reviews, what I experienced on Friday night was nothing short of magic. Okay, so, yes… it’s in Bed-Stuy. The area isn’t the greatest, and there are no 24 hour parking garages(we Jersey folk like to drive in for shows). We found parking around the block and skeeeeeedaddled to the nondescript door. It’s in a building called«The Lab». Security was gruff, but nice and let us right in since it was FRIGID.(I was with my boyfriend, and three of our friends). Quick pat down, ticket pick up and coat check… and we were in! What a fun space… it is a warehouse. And it was wide open and empty. The bar area is roped off for 21+ only(which was fine, we weren’t drinking anyway). There is a small upstairs area that had a hall and another DJ spinning upstairs(local talent Wax who spun some seeeeeeerious 138+ and another DJ who played a ton of hardstyle. Whoever you were, we loved you!) There’s four balcony areas that over look the main floor and have really nice leather couches and chairs for sitting on. Downstairs, we had the absolute pleasure of seeing Ronski Speed, Mike St Jules and Noomi Ra. In the words of my BF: «filthy, disgusting beats». Truly, this event lived up to the name«Meant to Dream». It was also empty! Seriously! Where was everyone?! It was such a great mix of people… from the ufo pants, cyber locks and fluffies-wearing decked out kandi kids to those of us just dressed for a night of frivolity(yes you read that correctly. No fluffies, no wacky outfits for me lately!) Bathrooms were clean. Seriously. No line at all, and acceptable for a venue. To address what others have raised: There were no cops here, and certainly not swarming the entrance. Be smart about yourself. It’s late at night in a rougher neighborhood., you will not get shot out of nowhere… my gosh. They do not frisk or search any harder than at Webster or Roseland.(um actually, Webster the bouncers are worse. ABSOLUTEDEEEEEEEEEEEEEEBS)…if you are courteous to people, it is amazing how they will be courteous back! It is reminiscent of what I would picture an old school rave to be like. I had a blast… we will 150% be returning.

I came here for a Kazi Sorrentino party, Shmacked 3.0 with a group of friends. Overall I have few complaints. Security was sort of rude and instead of toilet paper in the bathroom, there was a stack of paper napkins. How ghetto is that? In case you haven’t figured it out from reading the other reviews, Electric Warehouse isn’t the kind of place you go to if you’re more of a high end club/bar type. This venue is good for raves and that’s about it. Also, shoutouts to the girls at coat check for not giving me my change back after I handed In a $ 5 bill(coat check is $ 3). Not a big deal, but come on.

I went here this past Friday for the Electric Avenue event. It was hyped up to be a huge awesome warehouse for these kind of parties and raves, but it wasn’t at all like was expected. I’ve been to warehouse raves in the past and they are awesome; huge massive sections of dancing and lazer lights. But this place was really small. It had only one dance ground in a small rectangular room. It’s no wonder not that many people were there… you can’t fit a good crowd into it. The stage was set up in the front of the narrow rectangular room, and the more people that were in front of you, the further back you were from the music and lights. It was crowded, with only several dozen people, and no one was really friendly. There were a few, but not nearly as many that other warehouse parties attract. If a rave is using this venue, skip it and go to the next one, no matter who’s throwing it.

I came here for the Klock/Dettman Blk Market party. I almost decided not to go after reading these reviews – I’m really glad I went. I can’t speak for other parties by other promoters but it seems that they took special care to address previous problems. I think BLK Market also brought their own security which helps. Didn’t have to wait to get in. The sound/lights they brought in were great. The music was awesome, as expected. The bathrooms were clean enough and moved faster than your typical afterhours spot. They had a small, but private, outside area. I appreciated that it was well off the street(actually within a fenced in parking area). Both the upstairs area and the dance floor were open to everyone. To be sure, if you’re looking for a glitzy Manhattan nightclub this is not your kind of place. But if your looking for a solid afterhours spot, this place has potential. My friends and I all had an awesome time.

After the epic Ostgut Ton label night Blkmarket Membership had here, they’ve definitely got the place figured out. The VIP was behind the stage, so the upstairs area and balconies were open to all. They brought in their own security, who were respectful and not interfering with the party. Incredible light trusses. The sound is tricky there, but it did the job. Crowd was nicely mixed and definitely enjoying themselves. It wasn’t any more dirty than your average warehouse party. Didn’t see any fights. The venue size is perfect for their draw, feeling full but not cramped at all. Many places to sit, off-street outdoor area, no bad police attention. All in all, this can be a great place with the right promoter running the show. Amazing job, guys.

Horrible place. Underage kids. Unprofessional bar… bargain cola, «kool-aid» mixers. Popov Vodka in Grey Goose bottles… Bouncer stole loose money I had in my pocket and refused to admit it. I saw him WITH the cash in his hand. This place is in the HOOD therefore it attracts hoodrats. No ID checks. No quality checks. No good.

ok, i realize this place has gotten some bad reviews and it’s kind of trashy, but it depends on the kind of person you are and what crowd you’re going for. I mean, I don’t know what kind of other events this place hosts, but I go for the raves. And they are WICKED. Great effects, usually pretty good DJs, a great energy in the room. Yeah some people are a little trashed or wasted(and some are fairly young), but in general it’s a good crowd as far as the underground goes. Sometimes it’s a little pricey.

AWFUL. lots of annoying underage kids on drugs. extremely aggressive and unprofessional bouncers, i have actually seen girls touched inappropriately under the guise of a «frisk» by these thugs. i am surprised this place is still aloud to operate. i don’t want to sound redundant to what every other Unilocaler has to say about this place, but bottom line is avoid. avoid.avoid.

Never again. I learned my lesson. Avoid this venue at all costs. :P — Aggressive venue staff. Aggressive, as in, *angry* and not nice. — Very thorough bag checks. Does it really get all that serious in here other nights?! The woman took apart my asthma inhaler to check if I hid anything inside of it. — Mandatory coat check. The coat check staff managed to accidentally give my lovely cowl scarf to another partygoer. :(Bring the least amount possible with you. — A flock of youngsters. 16 or 18+ party. I guess I shouldn’t be all that surprised. — A flock of *annoying* youngsters on(insert party drug name here). — Dark and cold inside. — Dysfunctional bathrooms with dysfunctional bathroom patrons. Expect vomit, piss on the floors. I wasn’t as unfortunate as Gina K. with the poop smearing. Collapsing bathroom stall walls. No joke. I didn’t get to go upstairs since that was for VIP. I can’t imagine it is any better than the downstairs area. How does this place still exist?!

Came here for a Blk Market Marco Carola party. The DJ/event itself was fun, but the venue not so much. It was so dirty and gross. The upstairs area had dirt-laden couches and random chairs to sit in. I feel sick just thinking about it. Here’s the kicker. There was literally poop smeared ON(not IN, ON) one of the toilet seats. Unless there’s an absolutely awesome party you need to go to and don’t plan on using the bathrooms, you really don’t want to come here.

This venue absolutely sucks. It is in the hood. Cops swarm the entrance. They frisk HARD. Big black goons yell at the patrons and force them to check in their coats so they can shake another $ 4 out of people. The inside is disgusting. The bathrooms filthy. And the goons yell at people on the way out and herd them like cattle. And shame on the promoter that threw a party there — Blk Market. Saw Marco Carola. DJ was good. But Blk Market was charging $ 40-$ 50 a ticket. Shame on them. All I know is that this venue is horrendous.

I went here a week back to see Feelgood, Funk, and Donal Glaude — in 2 words, COMPLETEDUMP! Now, I have not been to an event like this in a mad long time but got talked into it and was excited about going. I am 31 and felt like an old man here. Venue is completely filthy, the place caught fire, the bathrooms were flooding, and the crowd was WACK. Now, the music was good for the limited amount of time we stuck around but the scene was subpar. Tried making the best of it but had to leave after 2 hours because again the venue was gross and the crowd may have been grosser. I will never be going back to this place and I will never go to an event that isn’t in a reputable club, louge or venue again.
