If you’re looking for an authentic slice of cheese pizza with a quality tomato sauce and good mozzarella, then this is your place. The inside looks like it hasn’t changed since they opened it, which indicates they spend their money where it matters: on the pizza. Fresh high quality ingredients and a friendly owner make this place well deserving of a five star rating.

I live 10 minutes from Tony’s and it’s probably better I don’t live any closer because I would love nothing more than to eat a slice every day. Not your typical thin crispy crust pizza, but is absolutely mouthwateringly delicious. Very cheesy and a great pillowy crust. Super reasonable prices($ 2.25/slice, $ 13 for a plain pie) and Tony is just such a great character too. The best place in the neighborhood by a long shot.

What a joke. This place is around the corner from my apartment and 9 out of every 10 times I swing by for a slice, he just doesn’t have any pies made. Tells me to come back in 10 minutes. Uh… nah. You have one job! I’m trying to give you cash and you won’t let me! I should probably just give up, but… I get hungry a lot, and hope springs eternal.

Eyy you guys. The best part about Tony’s Pizza Spot besides the pizza is Tony and his wonderful old school Brooklyn accent and attitude about pizza. [call] TONY: Tony. ME: I’d like to order pick up but I don’t see a menu online. TONY: Yeah I don’t got no menu online, I just got pizza. ME: Ok what do you have? TONY: Ya know, cheese, pepperoni, meatballs… extra cheese. ME: Any vegetables? TONY: Ehh onions. Hilarious. Good pizza, will be ordering here plenty.

I wanted to go wild and crazy about this place, but I’m going to have to Tony it down a bit. Perhaps you can Spot the reason why. It shouldn’t be too hard though. In fact it’s a Pizza cake to be honest. What to get: Pick a slice, any slice What else: If you touch my arse again, I’ll tell HR Definitely one of the best slices in Brooklyn. I’ve tried several dozen of the highest rated ones on Unilocal, and the only one that I like significantly better in this borough is Luigi’s on 5th Ave. Other than that, it’s a toss up between the likes of Best Pizza(Havemeyer in Williamsburg) and Tony’s Pizza Spot. And both of them are delectably definitively delicious. Sort of like your thingy. Yes, I said your thingy. What are you going to do about it. I’ve been back here for pizza 3 or 4 times on my storied and fabled NYC food tours, so it must be good. What’s more, the people serving it aren’t the Brooklyn Attitudal Types(BATS) like Luigi’s(who are lovely guys by the way), nor are they the Williamsburg Hipster Oddballs(WHO?), they’re just really nice, friendly, humble guys who make f***ing amazing Pizza. If you live in Brooklyn or visit Brooklyn on the regularityishness, then you should have tried this slice by now. It’s literally right round the corner from Snooki’s beloved Clinton Hill Pickles. It’s not only the best slice in Clinton Hill, it’s one of the top 3 in Brooklyn, and probably the best pizza named«Tony’s» in the whole country. Sorry«Toni Pepperoni», you just don’t cut it(no literally, you need to cut your damn pizza into slices pls, thx), even though you use a girlie version of Toni which I appreciate lots. Anyway, this ain’t no «Phony Pizza Spot», nor is it a «Lonely Pizza Spot» because it has plenty of fans and customers, although not enough considering how good it tastes. It’s not«Joanie’s Pizza Spot» which would be a favourite of Chachi, who loved to eat Joanie’s anything. And it’s not«Pony Pizza Spot» because ponies don’t eat pizza, not even when they have a sore throat(i.e. they are a little hoarse). But it is a «Homey Pizza Spot» and it is most certainly«Tony’s Pizza Spot.» Try it. Love it.

Tony is the real deal: a hard working immigrant with a great product and a friendly personality to boot. His shop is tiny, but his pizzas are excellent, ready in fifteen minutes and bursting with freshness and quality. I hope Tony keeps at it for a long time as he’s a great feature in this neighborhood!

Tony’s Pizza Spot is my current favorite pizza place in NYC. It’s cheap, fast, and traditional. Tony runs the place by himself, and he’s the man. While I love the cheese slice for only $ 2.25, the toppings are mouth watering. So far I’ve only tried 3 of them, with sausage being the best. I mean he cuts it right there, it’s so good! Even though you can’t eat in the restaurant, let alone stand inside easily if there are more than 5 people, don’t let it detract you from stopping at this no frills hidden gem. Tony won’t let you down.

Tony’s is true NY pizza and a true NY story. This guy deserves every respect for continuing a tradition. This is a 1 man shop that sells a high quality product. It deserves our support for every reason. If the line is a little long and one is late for work, come back later… pizza is not that good for you anyway.

I discovered this place on my way to another venue in the area. I grew up in NYC and I know good pizza, but this is absolutely the best I’ve tasted! A slice is large and he doesn’t skimp on the cheese! The temperature of the pizza was hot until the last bite. I even ate the crust! He’s also a very nice person. All the Brooklyn locals in the restaurant raved about the pizza and Tony. This is not a sit down place, you’ve gotta stand and eat your pizza or take it to go. So worth it!!! Anytime I am in this neighborhood, I’ve got to get a slice of Tony’s pizza!

This pizza was perfect! Tony is so nice, he’s the only one who makes the pies! The crust is perfect! It’s not to thick and not too thin. I got sausage on mine which was really good. Tony sliced the sausage fresh before he put it on. I highly recommend Tony’s pizza!

Hey, our first time to New York we had to try some pizza right? We were staying in Brooklyn, and were close to Tonys. Other Unilocalers stated that Tony has been making pizza here for decades. Well I like that. So we walked down to DeKalb and ordered two large pizzas. I have to say, that this was really good pizza. Good normal pizza. Not a hipster pizza. And the size of the entire pie is HUGE. We paid $ 13.00 for a gigantic sausage pizza and enormous pepperoni pizza. Love this place and the pizza. Great job Tony and thank you for introducing us to Pizza Brooklyn style!

Tony’s is a decent pizza place. The crust was thicker than I expected. Tony is nice enough. I will probably go back since it is convenient to where I live, but I doubt I would go out of my way for it.

Okay it’s been long enough, I have to tell the world about Tony’s. This place is like one of those magical stores from Harry Potter, you can walk by a dozen times without noticing it. Once my roommate brought home a slice though, the veil was lifted. Simply put, Tony’s has the best slice in the area because he must be using better ingredients. The sauce is flavorful and delicious, according to the brochures up front there’s a touch of buffalo mozzarella in the cheese, and the pie is always fresh since Tony makes them one at a time and sometimes needs you to wait for the next one to come out of the oven. The plain slice is $ 2.25 and is better than other people’s topped pizza. If you want a topping, get the sliced meatball for a dollar more. Do you want sauce on it? OFCOURSEYOUDO. That sauce is ambrosia, trust.
