Yoshi

I am a huge sushi/​sashimi fan. Yoshi is fantastic, their sushi, sashimi and rolls are always super fresh and their delivery is always quick. The special rolls are off the hook, you just can’t go wrong here, everything is that good and their prices are very reasonable too.

Never had bad sushi from this place it is small it is a neighborhood place. At times service is a bit slow. BUT Harry is a wonderful owner he tries hard for all of his customers. The creativity of rolls and sushi is limited but again we have always enjoyed our meal, the quality, freshness and flavor have been on the money for a long time. Nice local sushi restaurant you wont be disappointed

Great food and awesome service. We have been either ordering or eating there at least once a week. They never dissapoint. Love this place !!! Highly recommend.

This has become my go to sushi place in my new neighborhood. I get a number of their rolls and they always taste fresh and are ready for pick up in a jiffy. Much better than the other neighborhood alternatives.

So tonight my boyfriend and I decided to get take out. He enjoyed his spicy tuna and shumai. I had the crab meat caviar salad– amazing! However, my chicken fried rice hibachi was not so great. The chicken was extremely over cooked and burnt. It was not too enjoyable.

The most horrible sushi experience in all my years of eating sushi in spots all over NYC. Walked in to an unsanitary, smelly, and practically empty restaurant. Sitting down, waitress took 15 minutes to come over to take an order. When she did finally come she looked aggravated to be there and ran off in the middle of the order. No wine or sake in the establishment. Food took another 30 mins to come. Sushi was not fresh and badly prepared. Warning: Been in bathroom throwing up all day after i left this place! Disgusting experience. Warn your friends

The best sushi place in the area, no doubt. The fish is always so fresh. And Harry is a such a wonderful human being who cares so deeply about each and every experience you have with Yoshi. He is always so nice to me and my family.
Oh, AND they’re on seamless. WIN.

Yoshi is a nice looking establishment– very…& I hate being that guy, but it IS «quaint.» It has a nice feel to it, and at the corner of the block, it has a great location. That is the extent of it’s best stuff. The service isn’t anything great & the personnel isn’t exactly nice. When I made my order, they acted as if I were rushing them. Then they seemed anxious to rush the customers out. The rolls were decent enough though, I guess. That said there’s no real need to go here unless you’re in the neighborhood & in the mood for a quick, sushi lunch. If you are just around & you get hungry, why not give it a shot? The food’s decent enough, it’s in a nice neighborhood, and if you live nearby, it’s a quick run to the corner & back before you miss the next episode on your weekend Netflix binge.
Yoshi’s not «bad» exactly, it’s just… there. It’s a neighborhood place that treats itself a little too much like a neighborhood place. Comfortable, but nothing special, nothing out of this world, nothing that would make me want to come back. If I were Super Mario & riding a Yoshi, I’d stay on that Yoshi until I got to a different sushi place.

Harry always makes it a great experience for my family and I. Great sushi, great pineapple rice and who can say no to free Saki?!

Sushi is OK, nothing special. Fast delivery but put together sloppy. :-/​first time ordering from there tonight and probably won’t order again.

I love going to this restaurant they are very personable and make you feel welcome. They remember there customers each time you come in. The food is absolutely deliciious. I recommend this restaurant to anyone. If you’re looking for good sushi. This is definitely the place to go.

Had a bad experience and I think it’s one of those, one and done. Was looking for a new sushi place so I ordered this one delivery. Food took an hour to come. When it did come and I opened the bag, the spicy mayo sauce was open and spilled all over the containers. The lid to the sushi was smashed and some of the soy sauce in there spilled all over the sushi and into the other containers. No wonder the delivery boy was so speedy to get the hell out of there after I paid him. He definitely dropped it on his way to me. Lesson learned, check the bag before you pay.
Didn’t bother to call and complain because I was so damn hungry I didn’t want to wait another hour. So I start eating… big mistake. Horrible. Just horrible. Unappetizing, hardly edible that after a few bites I threw it all out in frustration.

Too salty and way too much MSG to the point where I got nausea and headache.
Even my tongue hurts.
Couldn’t finish the food (?). I cannot call it Food.
All I taste is MGS. It was a pure torture.

Yoshi aka Henry is very nice and cuts nice big sushi. His knife is always sharp and the fish always smell fresh!!! I enjoy going to see him his employees are very nice and bring me tea while I wait I recommend yoshi and his sushi very nice man

First time ordering sushi at the new home. More meat then most places — spicy mayo needs to be more spicy and better texture

I love this place the food is great and harry the owner is super nice :). Try the Sake and plum wine as for food you cant go wrong with spicy tuna and habatchi

Harry is the man! I come to Yoshi Sushi from Queens. I love this place, my wife has an orgasm every time, specially with the spicy avocado tuna salad. You get personal attention from Harry and staff, in a very small, not noisy place. My brother and wife prefer the Snow White Roll. Great food at an affordable price.

18 pieces of sashimi that were pretty fresh and also came with a different tangy wasabi sauce. $ 16 for a decent value with 6 varieties of fish. ⁴⁄₅

a cooked roll with tampura in the center and eel and avocado on top. Very similar to a dragon roll. 3.5÷5
Overall a very small restaurant that has less than 25 seats but they have friendly service. Without the
coupon (dinner only) this place would be average but with the coupon its a decent deal. Very modern and clean décor. Meters are in effect until 7pm on that street so maybe come at that time to avoid paying.
