RUDE… Horrible customer service… Take your business elsewhere. Was about to order food from there this weekend but decided on thunderbird after the way I was spoke to on the phone.

Food is good but it’s like ordering from the pizza Nazi. On more than one occasion the person on the phone was rude and tried to rush you through the order. Same attitude when you pick it up. Not a good customer service organization that’s for darn sure.

This is definitely one of the better pizza places around Broomall and Newtown Square in my opinion. When I go to visit my dad’s and we get pizza, I always pick Drexel Hill Style Pizza. The pizza actually tastes real and their sides are just as good. The only«downside» is you can’t really eat there with a large number of people and parking can be fun as you try to back out into West Chester Pike. The quality of food and taste compared to other pizza joints in the area is the real bonus.

Positives: Reliably quick with friendly service, quick delivery, and good hours. Their baked mozzarella fries are good if you’re looking for a side dish & don’t mind that its probably clogging at least one artery(but lets be honest, if you’re ordering from a local pizza shop your not worrying about that) Cons: Pizza is decent but not great. It is more of a greek style which isn’t my style of choice so keep that in mind(maybe that is more your flavor).

One of the best pizza pick-up restaurants in the area. They’re quick — food is always ready in 10 – 15 mins. They’re also open late, which is perfect when you get hungry late on weekends. The people are friendly, and the food quality, consistency, quantity of toppings — excellent I’ve tried their pizzas, strombolis, cheese fries, onion fries, hoagies… everything awesome. Nothing negative to say about this place. Drexel Hill Style Pizza and Joe’s Pizza, are two of my favorite pizza/hoagie/cheesesteak places in all of Marple/Newtown area. The only thing is parking really awful at Drexel Hill Pizza. You can’t see backing out of the spaces, on West Chester Pike. The road is busy, unless you go late night for pick up, and people don’t let you in when backing out. It is a very busy intersection of rt 3 and sproul.

This is THE best pizza in the area. Everyone else I’ve tried around here is serving dried cardboard with sparse toppings, but Drexel Hill Style Pizza actually knows how to make a pizza worth paying for. If you’re disappointed with the pizza options around here, then try this place, it stands apart. Also have a great variety of salads, my favorite is the Queen. It is packed full of salami, olives, eggs, cheese, pickles, tomatoes, onions, etc. and makes more than a full meal. Ordered from here at least 7 or 8 times now and have never been disappointed.

Absolutely the best pizza around! Unlike any other. They are very reasonably priced I feel. I have only had the pizza but I compare all other pizzas against this one. Give it a shot!

Absolutely my favorite place to order late. I have to confess, I’m not the biggest fan of their pizza, but that’s not a reflection of the quality. It’s quite greasy and cheesy, and easily a favorite of a large majority of my friends. I, on the other hand, tend to change up my orders frequently, and I’m always pleased by the results. Their cheesesteak is easily my favorite in Delaware County; lightly toasted bun, finely shredded meat, just the right amount of melt in the cheese. If you like fried onions, I recommend getting them on the side so you get more meat. Their burgers are terrific; again, lightly toasted bun, melted cheese, and a big, juicy patty. I have never had and under or over cooked burger from these guys. Their wings seem to be touch and go for most; I prefer lightly fried wings, and Drexel Hill definitely deep fries them. Again, not my favorite, but it’s the most unique buffalo wing I’ve eaten, so I do enjoy the variety. Finally, their fries and onions rings are the most addictive of their kind. I’m a big fan of onion rings, and I prefer the sort that are compact and solidly constructed rather than huge and crumbly. I hate biting into an onion ring and having the onion slither out. Not so with these guys; medium sized rings with finely sliced onions, seasoned perfectly with a hearty spice that is also used on the fries. I’ve ordered out for several parties, and whenever a new guest has a fry, they can’t stop eating them. Not a place to go and sit down, however. It’s a tiny place, designed primarily for delivery, so they fittingly stay open until 1:00am on weekends. As a picky eater when it comes to delivery food, this is one of the few places I know I can rely on. It’s my bedrock.

Very poor service the owner is very rude when you call to get delivery. I will never order or go to this pizza place ever again. I would rather give the competitor across the street the business which I will be doing from now on. Terrible service, bad attitude, this place will not last in a town like Broomall!

Food is good, to bad I won’t be ordering from here again. The man who answers the phone is ignorant everytime we call. This has happened more then 5 times now. Shame on me for ordering after the first time it happened. Terrible

We are from out of town, stopped in to get some food. Food smelled heavenly… Not much space to sit down to eat, BUT they were friendly and welcomed us to stay to eat. Food was very tasty. My youngest gobbled her hamburger, me my gyro and my oldest(and myself too) white pizza. Delicious food I would definitely recommend!

Solid pizza and decent delivery service. Sauce is good and ordered here a few times now. They are also a little cheaper than some of the competition and the quality is there. Delivery has been consistently been between 20 – 30 minutes. We live a few miles away, but they do well even for their Friday nights. ThunderBird is good, but this place is priced better. Locals should give this family pizza shop a shot.

Yuck! I ordered a vegetable Stromboli from there. Sooo nasty! They use frozen vegetables with lima beans in it. When I called to complain they told me that was their specialty. God help them then. I demanded a different Stromboli and was told I had to pay for it. So I said I’m coming there and I want my money back. Walked in, Threw the Stromboli on the counter and got my money back. Never ordered from here again. I now order from Thunderbird!

Drexel Hill Pizza serves up my favorite pie in the area. The cheese is good, the crust is great and it’s light on the sauce which is just the way I like it. As for their other food, I can’t say that I’ve ever disliked anything I’ve ordered. I’m a big fan of their turkey clubs, bacon egg & cheese grinders and their chicken parm sandwiches. The french fries are quite good as well. But it still boils down to their delicious pizza. Even when I’m not in the mood to dismantle a large pie by myself, I’ll order something else and still get a mini pizza as well just so I can at least get a taste of it. Service is pretty quick as well. They always tell you 10-minutes when you pick up and for the most part they’re pretty good about having your food ready by then. If not, you aren’t waiting too long. Anyhow, I’m a big fan of these guys…

Call ahead and it will be ready in 10 minutes. Nick and his family have been in the business for years. Great customer service and a great pie. It’s Greek style. My favorite is the Steak pizza, its a cheese steak chopped up and baked on top of your pizza. It’s delicious and I highly recommend.

The best pizza in the Philadelphia area. I would fly back across the country just for a slice. This place is a little piece of history, and I hope it sticks around forever. Call ahead with your order, and pick it up from the guys as it comes straight out of the oven. Then stand around and take a gander at the photos they have hanging all over the walls. Oh, and their fries are great.

Pizza is some of the best in the area with its unique style. Phone ordering is still preferred and delivery is ok but for best product i would pick up. Staff is not the friendliest but they are good at what they do.
