This takeout pizza restaurant is my first choice in the Broomall area. The owner is a really nice guy and delivery is quick. Lately though, the service has been regressing. Newer drivers forget the credit card receipt and even a pen to write in a tip. The person taking the order on the phone has several times made beef gyro sandwiches when I ordered chicken gyro sandwiches. As a patron, you cut the business some slack, but repeated mistakes do add up over time. For example, the new driver needs to clean up the mistakes. There is no reason to forget the receipt. The only thing worse would be to leave the food at the store. Bring a pen too. Secondly, when a regular customer orders the same item repeatedly, the food order should be accurate over time. These are just basic business fundamentals. The quality of the food is strong overall. The burgers are the only disappointing item on the menu. They usually are overcooked. The cheesesteaks, gyros, pizzas, wings and hoagies are solid! Leo is a really nice businessman so I always take to the family businesses. He even delivered to me once.

was getting my motorcycle worked on 3 stores down from here at Joe’s Cycle. Decided to get some food while I waited. Got a Small regular Pizza and ate it there. WOW! sauce, cheese and dough ALL awesome. Really loved it. While I was there I meet Leo(the owner) and his wife. Hey LOCALS lets go and support this wonderful Family owned eatery. What really nice people. The counter staff was great too. I spoke to Eric for a bit while I ate — excellent young man in college working at Loe’s to support himself. This is a new restaurant trying to earn your business — it is immaculately clean, excellent food, and prices are excellent too, then the Service is well, like being served by your friends. We all have our favorite places to get pizza where they know our name and even our favorite order. I’m not suggesting you give-up on your Fav — just spread the wealth a little — Try this place(Loe’s Pizza) you will really love the food.

Now batting for 2537 West Chester Pike in Broomall, Leo’s Pizza… This location on the pike seems to change hands every so often. I recently saw the red awning go up and knew that I had a new local pizza place to try out. We stepped up to the plate and sampled two pizzas. One was a half pepperoni and mushroom and the other was ordered as a white with hot pepper and tomato but came out with the toppings split in halves. Funny, I asked the young man who took my order(phone) if the white pizza was good and his reply was: «it is okay, I like it». We will cut him some slack since they are new, but I guess in retrospect, I would have been disappointed if he oversold it. Unfortunately, neither wowed me, but they were not terrible either, would go with fair. They go with a thicker dough and crust that is similar to a lot of Delco pizza establishments. They also reminded me of Pizza Hut a little as they have a buttery/garlic hint in their crust. I personally could have used a tad more sauce on the large and the white was found as being bland. A true white should be robust with flavor. The good news is they have some time to do some fine tuning. This place is worth giving a shot. It will be interesting to see how they progress. I did find the staff to be very pleasant. Although I didn’t try them, the cheesesteaks that they were preparing for a separate order looked delicious. I may need to try their sandwiches next time around.
