Split Endz Salon

I’ve been dyeing my own hair for years but over the summer I decided to go treat myself and get it done here. Everyone was extremely nice and the atmosphere is lovely. Though it’s a very nice place, disliking the way my hair turned out is an understatement. I loved the color and how it looked so much. I got about half of it ombréd (required a lot of bleaching) and then dyed that different shades of blue. When it was done, it looked amazing but only hours later it started to feel extremely dead. The next morning I woke up with it breaking and falling out to the point where I lost inches of my hair. I got a free haircut to fix it after complaining greatly about my hair being ruined, but this still did not fix much of it. Four months later, my hair is still a bit damaged from this. I will not go back.

Love love love Split Endz! Beautiful salon, friendly staff, talented, and reasonably priced! Judy does my hair and it always looks amazing, but if shes not working I have had other stylists take care of me and they do a really good job as well. Also I love getting my hair washed its soo relaxing with the massage and hot towel at the end!

Katie gave a great cut– I continue to be very happy with it. Seems like a good salon, there was a wide mix of clientele while I was there. Suggests a staff with varied strengths– always a good thing
4 stars because the salon décor badly needs to be updated— looks like Prom ’01 in there. Also because the hair wash/​hot towel situation was more «vigorous» than «relaxing» (maybe just my preference).

I’ve been coming to Split Endz for 15 years now and won’t go anywhere else for my cut and color. Dawn & Judy did my bridal party’s hair back in 2000 and I’m so glad I chose to use them. Judy B. is an amazing stylist and colorist and a terrific person to chat with as well. Love her. Best salon in Delco. Prices are competitive with other salons in the area. Give this place a try and you won’t be disappointed.
