The slowest check out ever. I could have had lunch and come back and the f***ing line would still be the same. Avoid!

Since they changed management and Christina took over things have been great. Nice staff who are very helpful. They don’t try and oversell and push stuff you don’t need. I would highly recommend the protection plans on the game you plan to play a lot. It’s only a couple of dollars but if it stops playing/gets scratched you get a new game for no extra money.

Incompetent management, I was helped by Evan & Josh, they made me wait 45 minutes to process a trade in towards a larger purchase. I had to wait because customers with single purchases were quicker to ring out and there for took precedent. In the end they supposedly couldn’t get my console to function properly, which I believe to be either negligence in attention to detail or plain ignorance of how to correctly operate the console. I ended up going into the 120th store & was helped by Justin, he verified my console worked and got me in and out of there in 15 minutes with a new console and games.

Worse ‘management’ I’ve ever dealt with. Danica apparently had too much going on to do her job. Lost an almost $ 400 sale

Went in here today to sell some of my old games for cash. I would have left with a sour taste in my mouth had it not been for the manager, who noticed that the guy behind the register was being rude, and stepped in to offer me an extra five bucks with my trade in. Corporate to the end, game-stop does not have a record for outstanding service, but it’s nice to see the guys make an effort. Unfortunately, the cashier seemed more interested in arguing with me, aggressively arguing the veracity of his opinion that modern warfare 3 is better than battlefield 3. Right or wrong(he was wrong), he must have missed the part in his training where they told him that«the customer is always right». If his manager hadn’t stepped in to mediate the discussion, I probably would have taken my business elsewhere. It seems the employees at game-stops nationwide have a tendency to have a condescending tone that really rubs me the wrong way. I don’t know why, but I’ve been to dozens if locations and they always seem to have at least 1 – 2 under enthusiastic clerks on duty. If you have the time and the gas, go to the one in Boulder– the staff is way more friendly and informative. Even better, you’ll get more cash from your used gear if you head over to GameForce, which is in the parking lot across from the WillVill dorms near campus.
