The service at night is terrible when the lady with the red shirt is in charge. Everything we ordered came out wrong and the employees — including the manager stand around talking while customers wait. Beans sent back because they were soured and food was cold — once they got the order correct. We have been coming here for years, but the new management is forcing us to visit the other location in College Station. Disappointed.

What the what? I can’t believe this place has 3 ½ out of 4 stars. I gave it at least a 2 because our waitress gave a half-way decent customer service experience. Yes, I am being generous. My tilapia had TOO much cheese and pico on top. The fish itself was cooked nicely. However, the sopapillas were the real kicker. First, they took forever to arrive. When they did, they were the greasiest, most crispy sopapillas I have ever seen in my life. I smeared a little butter on top and cut into it. More grease poured out, and I came to my senses. I set my fork down and wondered why I would ever consider eating that. The waitress didn’t give me grief about taking it off my bill, but the manager never showed up to our table like she said she would. Tired of waiting, I went to the front to pay and encountered the manager — the same totally enthused(insert sarcasm) employee who sat us at our table. She apologized and told me to have a nice day. People, Taco Cabana would have been better!

Amazing Tex-Mex food! Awesome staff and excellent service in lunch hours 11am –4:30pm food is always fresh and well presented great portions for reasonable prices, I recommend anything on the menu except for bff fajitas the quality has decreased too much seasoning but other than that everything is good and tasty!!! Better than torchys tacos and on the border.

I’m giving it 2 stars because the margaritas were okay… but the food was disgusting! I would not call this mexican food! And it got worst when there was a roach crawling on the wall next to where people were eating. Nasty food and roaches… YUCK!

The food was great as usual. Excellent Rita’s and great green sauce. I miss the soft serve ice cream though.

Food is just kind of blah. Definitely over priced for the quality of food you get. Customer service is decent. But not worth me bothering to keep coming back.

Nice staff, great atmosphere, wonderful food. Although this is not the Mexican food I’m used to, it is wonderfully flavored and well plated.

Chips and dips are always right on! Fresh and tasty. The food is great almost every time! Wall decorations are overdone and make the place look slightly dirty but if u can look past that they have great food at great price!

I recently went to Casa Olé about 2 weeks ago and I have to say I had a wonderful restaurant experience. The waiters were polite, my waiter had blonde hair and I think his name was Justin or J. The tables were clean and they brought us chips & salsa while we waited on our food. The staff is very friendly and it didn’t take too long, for our food to be served to us. The food is pretty reasonable priced and it tasted fresh and well made. I definitely recommend Casa Olé and I actually enjoyed my restaurant experience.

Brings back memories of what used to be so good. And it’s perhaps not their fault as one’s palate does become more refined over time. Same age old taste of beans with a huge amount of cumin /comino and a non chef prepared Sysco sourced nationwide Tex-Mex fast food recipe. Tip: Drive less than 1 mile to Jesse’s Taqueria for local non chain Tex-Mexican and Mexican.

I have never been disappointed with a meal at Casa Olé. The service can be a bit slow at times but the delicious food is well worth the wait. The spinach enchiladas with cilantro cream sauce are my favorite.

This place was NOT good. We went in fairly late in the evening, but the food was bad, and honestly made us sick for 2 days.

FOOD: Fried mushrooms: The fried mushrooms were delicious. Once you bite through the crispy exterior, you’ll find the interior w/the juicy mushroom. Yum. Texas fries: These were essentially fat fries covered in chili, cheese & bacon. Mmmm… bacon. Small portion but pretty good. Chipotle Tacos(w/beef fajita meat): The meat was tender & the chipotle added a good flavor to the tacos. Problem is, they gave only 2 miniature tacos. Unacceptable. Rice & refried beans(sides): The rice was soft & essentially edible. The beans tasted a bit off, it had somewhat of a bitter taste to it. OVERALL: With the exception of those superb fried mushrooms, the rest of the food was just decent. Thus, Casa Olé = Casa Okay.

I don’t understand why this doesn’t have any reviews?(Before this one, that is!) With the location being right next to Wal-mart, it’s a favorite of ours, especially if we are heading to/from Wal-Mart. Not to mention its just an oveall great place to go. Good food, good prices, good service. It’s that simple.
