These are some good, salt of the earth, folks here. I didn’t buy much(just an inner tube for now), but they were each very helpful in finding the tube, and with answering my other questions(about locking skewers). When I’m in the market for bike parts, I’m sure I’ll be stopping back.

Brought a couple Treks in for a late season tuneup. The dudes here know bikes, love bikes, and probably dream about bikes. They probably date bikes, and caress them tenderly in the late hours of the night. All of this misplaced passion translates into great service for your bikes. However, I’ve noticed lately that my bike keeps secretly texting them, and I’ve now had to install spy software on its iPhone.

I haven’t even picked up my bike yet but after a couple of emails and phone calls and one visit I have such supreme confidence in this shop! Their shop is awesome. Great layout, nice selection. Definitely geared towards the more serious rider but I am sure that they would council and help novices and casual riders as well. Kyles staff are friendly and knowledgeable and they ride the bikes they sell and work on. This isn’t some converted garage where they sell you a $ 2000 bike and ride home on their converted, yard-sale fixed-gear. They do a thorough measurement and fitting, telling why they are measuring what they are and what it means to how they’ll build your bike. Kyle sits with you and talks about the type of riding you do, what you’re trying to get out of your new bike. Then, he walks you though the purchase, order and build process. He tells you when he will have shipping updates, when he will call you, when he will get your bike, and that 24 hours from its arrival, it will be built. And when they build, they aren’t just putting together the pieces from the manufacturer like some Lego set. They change out stock components for ones better suited to the rider. Then they throw in some fun little extras because who doesn’t love a surprise! Finally, you’ll go back and and pick up your bike and spend some time on rollers in the shop, just to make sure that everything is cool, make adjustments, etc. I can’t wait to get my bike from these guys. There is no other place in the area for Bianchi riders. None.

Nice upscale roadie shop, with a good selection of high end frames. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. If you’re in a bind and need a high-end replacement part fast, Bikyle probably has it. As with just about any local bike shop, your essentially paying retail prices, so don’t expect any good deals. Kyle is well known for his fits, but they are very expensive. $ 300. If you buy a complete bike, you get a free fit, but the bikes are MSRP, not market priced.

A cool shop with lots of frames and pro components. The staff seems knowledgable. The shop is located on the edge of the Villanova University Campus.
