Best coffee in the sy valley! I could drink thier coffee everyday, seriously. The service is fast and friendly and(coming from a coffee snob) the coffee is top notch. Support local businesses and try this place out if you need a caffeine fix :)

One of the best places to get coffee in the valley! My favorites are the Mexi-mocha and the white mocha! Avoid the new Starbucks and come here instead. You won’t be disappointed.

Got a mocha frappé here and it was delicious. Great customer service. I will be coming back to try coffee and the smoothies that they have on the menu to give more reviews. So far it’s been the best place for mocha frappé in the town and has drive through so it’s convenient.

Really delicious coffee and you don’t have to leave your car! Being on a roadtrip, you need your caffeine, efficency and hopefully flavor. The flavor is better than starbucks by far. We tried the Vanilla Blend and the Mocha with a banana added. Both were very good — if I was local they would be my coffee shop for sure. Give them a try, you won’t regret it!

Instead of drive thru, I walked down to the cabin after ate lunch at the pizza shop. Ordered white chocolate mocha, what else I could ask for, with the gorgeous lady who makes my mocha.

So so coffee. If you’re desperate go to Starbucks. For better coffee drive into Solveng and go to Café Dolce.

People! Learn how to make coffee!!! I was at this coffee shop today for the first time visiting Buellton for business. Based on the good reviews I decided to stop by there for a espresso macchiato and a bite to eat. I bought a cream cheese bagel which was okay, but hey what is there to do wrong… I also had the quiche which was way to dance and did not have much to do with a real quiche… And last but not least my espresso macchiato… I asked for it dry with just a dab of milk foam… Instead of a job I got three huge spoons but that’s not a big deal wouldn’t there be the double espresso which should be a couple of sips nice full bodied coffee, instead I get a full cup of diluted watery espresso… I asked to get it remade with half the water at the most and I got again exactly the same thing… After trying to explain what a espresso is supposed to look like I just got a brush answer«this is how our espresso is» instead of listening and trying to give me what I actually ordered… Never going there again… Not even with the few choices around. You are way better off with going to the bakery in solvang…

Stopped for gas in Buellton, and the Coffee Cabin was recommended by a clerk at the gas station. Just off the 101, and it’s a drive-through. Delicious coffee. No special orders– just an iced coffee, a hot café au lait, some tasty glazed doughnut holes(25 cents!), and it was all good and convenient. And Emily, who waited on us, couldn’t be cuter or sweeter! Hi Emily!

Great coffee. The Mexican Mocha with orange peel zest is really yummy — I haven’t seen this option at many coffee places and I wish it was everywhere. Staff needs training(or just write orders down so as not to have to keep asking the customer what they want again), but staff is also very friendly which makes up for it.

My drive back home from Solvang began here. I got the house coffee and dad got the Mexi-Mocha(both iced). I really thought the iced coffee had an unique taste to it and it was something I would go for every day(or when I want coffee). Mexi-Mocha, seemed like it wasn’t distinctively Mocha or Chocolate or even Coffee… it was slightly bland to my dad’s opinion(and I somewhat agreed). However, if I am in the area, I would definitely go by again to this joint for another iced house coffee.

Quality service and product. Quick time to prepare and serve. No seating so not good for studying but great for a stop right off the freeway on long road trips. Yummy drinks.

Sorry to down-rate one of the few coffee shops in Buellton — it is a *very* small town, and choices for espresso are limited. So maybe it is a «5» given what else is available locally. But coming from someone who loves coffee and needs it to function, I just couldn’t drink it. I ordered a special 4th of July mocha. The rich espresso taste was absent, the milk was watery. The sea salt more than overpowered the drink — followed by the burn of the chili. The drink was a full assault to the senses, and not in a good way. Again, I feel terrible for down-rating a place with such glowing reviews, but the fact of the matter is the coffee just isn’t that great, and I’m so sorry to say that. Here’s my experience… I was driving through Buellton on my way home from an appointment and was absolutely *desperate* for coffee since I wasn’t able to get my «usual» before I left town. I had a headache coming on, cloudy brain, the whole thing a coffee addict goes through when not given their fix… and lo and behold — there it was! A cute little espresso drive-thru! I was nearly dying and I love to support local businesses when I can, so I pulled in line and started studying the menu. They charge for whipped cream, which seemed odd, but the rest of the menu seemed pretty normal. The wait wasn’t long and the girls working were very helpful and friendly. They described the different drinks and I decided I’d try the special mocha they’d designed for 4th of July. I took my first sip and immediately figured out that it was way too hot. I got a burning mouthful of tasteless liquid followed by the burn of the spicy chili that’s in the drink. I let it sit a bit and gave it another try. This time, tasteless hot liquid with a chaser of tons of sea salt followed by the burn of the chili. So disappointing because I wanted so badly to enjoy it. The third and fourth sips were the same, which is what finally made me place it in the garbage can down the street at Taco Bell. Since I was already there, I went ahead and walked in, ordered a plain black coffee for a little more than $ 1, and in a few minutes I was finally fueled with proper octane levels and on my way back home…

By far the best coffee in the Santa Ynez Valley. Don’t bother going anywhere else; every other café disappoints more often than not. Drinks are consistently delish and baristas are always sweet. Drive thru is super convenient also. Totally worth my drive across town from Santa Ynez.

With so many desert options right down the street in Solvang. why why is there no good coffee places to compliment the sweetness. well our prayers have been answered. not just great coffee but its also a drive thru. be aware however, its only a drive thru and not a sit down coffee shop, but if you really want to sit, there a few park style benches just a few steps away. This busy exit to solvang is a common stop for me on my way back home but I am always just too late to get any service in this sleepy town that shuts its doors at what seem like way too early for a tourist stop. My trip today was around 5:30pm and I walk into one of the local bakeries called Olsen’s who had a line out the door. After a 5 min wait I was rudely disappointed by the help who said they were closing soon and turned off there coffee machine. Pissed at the fact that these people don’t want my money i drove off to the freeway entrance but wait wait what is that little hut in the parking lot, its a coffee cabin. and they are still open. Yes they were open until 6pm and served until 6pm. Pulled up ordered a very delicious spice latte and even had friendly service. Just a few minutes off the freeway, great coffee, great service, don’t waste your time going to downtown Solvang!

I would go here every day if I could. As it is, I often have to talk myself out of it, force myself to turn my car in the other direction. If you get there early enough, get some scones before they sell out for the day! You will NOT be disappointed. The ladies who work here are always super nice. My kids and I come here at least once a week after school gets out(and sometimes I sneak over while my oldest is still in school). My son always gets a smoothie, my daughter totally digs the donut holes(for only 25 cents each!) and I love to get a coffee blender with whipped cream. Coming from the east coast, where there’s a Dunkin Donuts on every corner, I am SO happy to have Coffee Cabin.
