Jack In The Box

Shift manager was extremely rude. Would not allow the code to use the restroom until I ordered food despite the fact that I had just gotten off the road and wanted to wash up. My family of four at the cash register with money in hand was not enough for the manager to allow access to the restroom. Because I did not personally pay for the order, my wife did, the manager did not believe that I made a purchase. I will never stop there again. It is illegal in CA to refuse water, or the use of a restroom where there is a lobby dining. DO NOT GO THERE.

Eat here all the time. Came on my lunch break today to order some lunch, but I had to pee soo bad and they would not let me use the bathroom until I ordered. Her name was Jessica and she tries to act like she’s never used the bathroom somewhere. I’m in my work uniform I’m not homeless. I got a Pee so bad and she wants me to order before I can use the restroom!
NEVER EVER EVER GOING BACK THERE! Jessica don’t act like you’ve never used the bathroom somewhere without buying something.

Ordered two #24’s both breakfast sandwiches were served cold and the bread was dry. Would not recommend this Jack in the box

Horrible horrible horrible… Consistent sma portions on sandwiches … Food was cold, no Manager in site for a refund…

Does not even deserve a star for the service I just received. My order was completely wrong so I drive back through the drive threw minutes after to ask nicely for my order to be remade and I received a instant eye roll followed with a 5 minute wait. My soda had no flavor and was full of ice. My burger was wrong and they gave me cheesy fries when I asked for curly. My receipt read everything I ordered correctly and I still got attitude when I presented the wrong order. Will never return.

I wanted something quick and simple while I was camping nearby at Flying Flags. I found Jack in the Buttcrack so I decided to order a Southwestern Chicken salad from the drive thru. Went back to the campground and as soon as I opened the lid, the salad smelled sour, bad, rotten! Drove back over there and complained. Most restaurants will not try to argue with the customers because they’re policy is «the customer is always right». Gave back the refund and said this place is not a restaurant. What stupid idiots!!! I called the number on the receipt and they never called back to fix the problem. Nobody should stop by here!!! If you want fast food, there’s McDonald’s, Burger King or Taco Bell in that area. Wish I can give them negative stars!!!

Took our order wrong. Played stupid. Then became argumentative. Manager has poor customer service skill and she was the one who messed up the order! When she realized she was wrong she told us to leave. Really?! And you’re a manager? Horrible Horrible place. And they made the food wrong. Not once but twice!

Nasty experience, even by jack in the box standards. The dim lighting and dirty store isn’t even their biggest problem. The monster taco looked like it had been once digested already. The curly fries (usually my favorite item) tasted old. And lastly the pita sandwich. DO NOT order the pita sandwich! The chicken is clearly not pure chicken — it tastes rubbery and like it has been mixed with something else. This experience has left me feeling nauseated and lethargic.

The service was okay. I like how spacious the restaurant is and that it’s convenient for drives. However, my food tasted bland and nothing memorable about it. It’s cheap and filling but nothing spectacular. My sirracha burger was not flavorful. I’d recommend something else!

Needed a late night snack and I ended up here. The «chicken» sandwhich hit the spot. The curly fries were definitely curly. The Oreo Shake had a hint of crack cocaine in it. And yes, many people bag on these peeps working here, but let’s face it, it’s Jack In The Crack in the middle of Buelltonolompoke! On a good note, the manager is a MANCHESTER UNITED RED DEVIL FAN! Whew I’m done, seriously, if you’re craving a burger go to Big Bopper in Solvang.

Minimum wage idiots giving minimum effort. How hard can repetitive action be??? Jack, at least hire people who can take an order and deliver correctly… Lazy.

Horrible Service by Ernesto… don’t go to JIB past 10pm. He will tell you to «Move it along». Sounds like they trained him to be impatient

Sorta got screwed by Jack when the posted price was $ 2.99 and the receipt said $ 3.09 I asked the manager what was going on. He just said that the board hadn’t been updated yet and then started to take it apart. No offer of the dime, nada. Jack’s got to learn a bit about customer service and being sure that your advertising matches what your computerized sales system says.

I don’t know why I am reviewing a national fast food chain everyone knows how this works you order X you get X in five to ten minutes. Oh yeah that’s because this is not how it worked in this case, how hard can it be? IDIOTS!
We order #10 (Sourdough Chicken Sandwich Meal) and Bonus Jack extra «secret sauce» order is read back to us so far so good…
Our friends order a Sourdough Jack Meal and, a salad without chicken, and a smoothie…
But then a couple minutes after the order is placed the smoothie machine is broken, refund cannot be given without supervisor, well get a supervisor and get the refund… still not a problem but this is where it starts to get fun.
Our order comes out it’s not a #10 it’s a sirloin burger of some sorts, no problem just replace it, blank stare followed with «you ordered a #1 the ticket says #1», «[IDGAF the #1 is more] but we ordered the #10», «I don’t know what to do», «just switch the sandwich out» … 10 minutes later still no sandwich, we approach the counter and receive «we’re sorry there is no more grilled chicken we’re all out» well WTF why didn’t you tell us that to begin with we would have order something different, ok so apparently there going to do that now.
Mean while it has been about 23 minutes or so and our friends are just receiving their order it’s a Sour Dough Jack and a salad, less the smoothie because the machine was broken. But the try only has a burger and fries on it, the question is asked of the location of the salad and the response «we are all out of salad» is given… again WTF you could not have informed them of that when the order was placed, they could have ordered something else and not wasted 20 minutes. When a refund is asked for some crap about an off duty manager having to do it created additional difficulty.
As this is all happening my girlfriend heads back up to get her replacement sandwich, which we are still waiting for, it’s not ready and they have «forgotten» to make it, they take a fried chicken sandwich from someone else’s order and hand it to her. I can only imagine this further perpetuated the problem as during this whole fiasco another order was picked up by another set of customers missing the fries and with the wrong sandwich.
Total elapsed time with 20% on time, in full completion rate: 36 minutes.
Wow is all I can say… but at least now I do know where the name JACK in the box came from…
What a waste of a post I can’t believe I let them take more time away from me :(

Somehow Unilocal does not check outside major cities for new restaurants. This location has been open for over four years. Located east of the 101 freeway in the tourest town of Solvang.
Newer location with of all things a working fireplace in the dining room Service has always been fast and the food well prepared. The return to the freeway is easy.
