Workers at drive thru seem miserable, the person taking your order sounds so bored and doesn’t care for his job. Girl at the window doesn’t talk, just stands there waiting for you to pay. Doesn’t remind you the amount nor ask if you need anything else. Really bad service. Never again. Food was cold af. Too.

First the location and drive-​thru setup is a BEAR of EPIC proportion. I came in Monday night to order for five. There were about six or seven employees in the back with one person at the register.
Oh, and she was a rookie which meant I was pained for having to wait ten minutes to even order. There WERE only two of us in line. The quality of the food was expected but the service here was atrocious.
This should only be reserved on an emergency meal or bathroom break basis.

I called once to ask if they had the MCRIB and they hung up on me, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and called right back, thinking that maybe someone dropped the phone or accidentally hit the wrong button, and this rude woman starting yelling at me, saying that she was going to call the police if I ever called this McDonalds again. I told her that this was my 1^st call ever, and that she had hung up on me 2 seconds earlier, and she started screaming at me that I had been calling all week. WHAT, HELLO, I have never called them before this and was just trying to see if they had the seasonal sandwich. She was incredibly rude and just kept screaming at me even though I told her that I was not whomever she thought was calling. I can see why they have a TERRIBLE Unilocal RATING. I will make sure to send this to corporate Mcdonalds also. Maybe they can yell at her like she yells at poor unsuspecting customers. WOW Please fire this rude witch!!!

Wow never really write about this place, Whom ever was the dumb ass black kid pissed off at the world taking orders… This is why you study and pay attention in school. Maybe you wouldnt have such a shitty job.

This is by far a horrible McDonald’s. I would usually not leave a review for McDS but I’ve been here 4 times and they are ⁰⁄₄. Food has been cold/​Luke warm every time especially the fries. Today’s fries were definitely a solid 45 – 60 mins old. Inside isn’t very clean either along with slow service compared to other locations.

This McDonald’s is pretty standard. It looks a clean but somehow a little dated. I was just in to get something small to eat to not be too hungry, but still save my stomach to each a good lunch. So I purchased a double cheeseburger and my favorite sweet iced-​tea.
I’m not sure if my taste has changed, but the burger tasted like it wasn’t a burger. I could taste the patty, but it just didn’t remind me of a tasty piece of meat. It tasted like there was too much filler of some sort. The sweet iced-​tea didn’t really taste like tea. It tasted a lot like just sugar water. Maybe my days are numbered drinking high fructose corn syrup :-) ha ha ha…
Food = Totally didn’t hit the spot
Seating area = Clean
Service = Ok
Restroom = Clean, but dingy

Rudest service and got order wrong and were very rude about correcting it! The girl in the drive thru would not even look at me! I think they hoped I would go home and not see until I got there! I know it is not the best job, but it is there job to be friendly to the customers!!!

Hey managers/​shift supervisors,
Your team really needs to improve on their efficiency and accuracy. Why would you give hot off the fryer french fries to me in the car and then tell me to wait in priority space number one. I waited over ten minutes for a «hot n spicy McChicken» to be made. (scratching my head…) I ordered the Mickey D’s Family pack, so shouldn’t you have made four at the same time? And the four drinks, I guess it’s really confusing right… why were all the drinks regular iced tea? Two sweet teas and two regular teas, how hard can it be? By the time the rest of the order is brought out to the car, the french fries have already gotten cold. Please set your bar at least three times higher than where you think you stand with the locals that come spend their hard earned cash.
Of all the locations within five miles of Beach Boulevard and Malvern Avenue, this has to be the worst for speed and service. I went to the store at Amerige Heights and I was really impressed with that group. Yeah, it is farther but if they surpass 5900’s service, then that is where I will be going from now on. Even the La Habra Westridge location is better, but not by much.
I am tired of getting wrong orders when I get home and sip the drinks or open up the wrappers. I’m done with your location… DONE!

This place suck its been 30 in the drive through what the hell are they killing the cow and growing the veggies come on this is stupid I will never come here late nigjt ever agine and I will tell everybody to go to jack in the box just up the street

All food are not fresh. Could not be worth. The worst mc Donald’s I have ever been to.

Crappy service. it’s the closest one to my house but always screwing up my order. I ordered chicken nuggets and order taker kept saying bbq my husband said no sweet and sour she cut him off and said Ok I heard you sir came home to find bbq sauce. Called to complain not only about the fact they gave us the wrong sauce but that they gave us the wrong quantity lady cut me off while I was in the middle of explaining the situation said ok I understand it wasn’t until I blew up in regards to her rudeness that she finally apologized. I have gotten several wrong orders from this location but the way they treated me and my husband completely got to me.

I’ve been going to this location for over 25+ years basically due to convenience. It needs a major renovation & its one of the smaller locations in the area. There lines inside and outside are terribly long. The drive thru is a tight squeeze you can barely fit any car that isn’t a micromachine! The parking lot is tiny. If you pull in on the drive thru side your not getting out LOL. so be prepared. Location could be kept up cleaner, but it does have a tremendous amount of traffic. With all this being said I’ve never had a problem with cold food, bad food or wrong food. Basically just Slow Service! 1 POINT for the Milkshakes, Always yummy! I’m hoping they renovate this location soon, long overdue

This is the worst McDonald’s I have ever been to… so you KNOW how bad this place must be.
It is within walking distance but I’d rather drive someplace else. Hell, after todays visit, I will NEVER be back.
I ordered a Sausage, Egg an Cheese Biscuit an a large iced caramel coffee. The lady mumbled something and then said large iced coffee… but it sounds like a question. Caramel coffee I reiterated and she apologized.
While waiting for about 10 minutes for this order I watched the staff in action. In the old days they would take care of one order at a time. Now, they bring hash browns to this bank of trays, two coffees to that set of trays, yell in the back for Egg McMuffins which they throw onto the first set of trays. Meanwhile, there are 7 people waiting for their orders. Idiots.
Anyway, I digress. I got my bag and coffee. I opened the wrapper and it was a Bacon, Egg and Cheese Biscuit. Grrr. Then my friend noticed that the iced coffee was a medium… not large… AND IT HAD BEEN GIVEN TO ME BY THE MANAGER.
This place needs a visit from Gordon Ramsey ASAP.
Anyway, my friend goes back inside because i had already decided that I was NEVER going to set foot in that rat hole ever again. She complained about the biscuit and the size of the coffee. They eventually gave her a large and a bag. I opened it and it was a Sausage and Egg biscuit… no cheese.
I think that convinced her never to go there again as well.

It’s so close to home that it wouldn’t make sense for me to go elsewhere but other than that this mcDs is pretty bad in customer service. I ordered the 40 piece nuggets because it was cheaper than getting two 20 pieces but the last kept on ringing my order for 2. Basically a 40 piece is 8.99 and the 20 is 4.99. Because I have had issues with some of the customer service here I took a picture of their menu to show her that 1) I was right in telling her this is what the menu said and 2) I clearly understood math
It’s very slow here and the workers could use some improvement. I think I had someone get me two apple pies and she came back close to 20 mins later because they were that slow. Sad sad sad

If I could, there wouldn’t even be a whole star for their rating.
Incredibly rude service and takes forever for them to get your order.
Went into the drive through after midnight and wanted to order an egg white sandwich off their midnight-​4am menu.
Seeing this girl other times before, I didn’t think she wouldn’t know their menu. The girl tells me that the breakfast sandwiches start from 4am which clearly she’s wrong and the menu states midnight to 4am.
This McDonald needs to train their employee better and hire people with a better work attitude.
If you’re looking to grab something quick at McDonald, take the effort to drive a little further for better service rather than a 10 minute wait for your order and workers that give attitude and don’t know their meany

The only reason why I even come to this Mc Donald’s is because of it’s convenience. Its close to my house and on my way to work. Normally I deal with the extra lag through the drive thru, bad service, slow service, rude employees, & mess up on orders. but today… TODAY they really got to me!
I came a bit early since I know Friday’s are a bit busier in the drive thru line… Drove up 6:45am, ordered a Large caramel iced coffee and fruit parfait. Got to the pay window 6:52am.
Girl at the window seemed new. she just blankly stared at me. No «Hello good morning» or even «Your total is… $» … just NOTHING. I shrugged it off and handed her my card while she handed me my coffee.
6:57am… Still waiting for my fruit parfait with 6 – 7 cars behind me… I turned down my music and asked the girl «How much longer is it going to take?» She replies «You know they have to cook the egg…» yaddda yadda yaddaa… EGG??? What egg? I ordered a FRUIT PARFAIT…
She obviously was confused and asked… «you didn’t order a deluxe breakfast?» So i look at my receipt and it said Vanilla iced coffee and deluxe breakfast. I give her back the receipt, coffee, and my card and tell her again I ordered a Caramel ice coffee and fruit parfait.
7:00am manager comes to the window and listens as the girl explains «She don’t want the deluxe breakfast anymore… she wants fruit parfait.» UM correction! I NEVER ORDERED A F*KIN DELUXE BREAKFAST! OR A VANILLA ICED COFFEE!
Manager refunds the deluxe bfast and charges for the fruit parfait. Never did I hear a «Sorry about that» or «We apologize for the mix-​up»… Nothing. Zero. Nada. I get my coffee and fruit parfait and zoomed outta there 7:02am.
What in the world?! 17 mins WASTED at a drive thru for the 2 most SIMPLE items on their menu. Really??? UGHHHH I decided that I was not going to let this ruin my perfectly great Friday morning. took a sip of my coffee… WTF!!! IT WAS NOT A CARAMEL ICED COFFEE… ERgsaidhfgbdhfsad!!!

I was the luckiest kid in the world.
That’s what I thought 22 years ago when I was only 5 years old and playing in the play pen.
Everyday, I would come here with my grandparents. I would befriend a fellow playmate and our imaginations would go wild as we imagined ourselves as Generation 1 Transformers or capturing ghosts as Ghostbusters.
Still today, my grandpa would tell me about the stories of how I never wanted to come out when he told me we had to go.
This particular location holds something special to my heart. «For goodness sake!» you might say, «it’s just a McDonalds.» But let me ask you, do you have the luxury to go back to your hometown? As for myself, I have that luxury. Who doesn’t want to go back to their childhood and relive those simple moments? Although I can’t physically go back in the playpens, brief flashbacks pop up and I can’t help but smile at the fact I had so much history in there. They haven’t changed the playpen since then, except for the ball pit.
Call me bias, but I don’t have problems with this particular location. The employees are usually nice and they aren’t hardliners about the sauces.
The only down side is that they got rid of hot mustard! It was one of my absolute favorites to dip my McNuggets and fries in!
What I don’t get is that people give one star reviews, yet they still frequent McDonald’s.
Maybe it’s a corporate hate, but for me, it’s a childhood pastime.

First of all, I really don’t like McDonalds all that much. As a kid I liked the happy meals. Sometimes I’ll get a smoothie, parfait, or some fries. But typically I try not to eat McDonalds. But this location has got to be the absolute worst one thus far. The employees see you waiting for service and they completely ignore you. When they finally do decide on attending you they’re rude and they roll their eyes at you. One time I came here, the fries weren’t even cooked all the way. I asked to get different fries and the lady didn’t want to give me them because I hadn’t come up within a minute?! The place is always dirty and there’s always kids running around going ape shit. Please save yourself the trouble and drive a little down the street to a different location. I promise you won’t regret it!

Anyone that gives this place anything above «one star» should visit their doctor immediately to see if you have a pulse!
For Christ sake, McDonald’s has taken some hits in recent years. Used to be a decent place to grab a quick cheap burger when I was a kid but they have gone so far off the map trying to make fake food look and taste like real food its mindbogglingly.
But their food or fake food is not the purpose of this review. This McDonalds is probably the shittiest shithole of places bearing the Golden Arches. It is filthy and the customer service couldn’t be worse. The drive thru line extended onto Beach Blvd at 9pm on a Thursday night. Hello??? Anyone home??? In order to not get in a rear end death collison to buy a soda I managed to drive around through the criminal hangout alley-​way and park in their lot. I go inside and find the walk in line is the same? WTF is going on here? Took just a few seconds to realize the employees are to fault. They are perhaps the slowest bunch I have seen in my life. Hire from the ghetto, ya get ghetto service.
Come on Mc Donald’s, send a rep out to see what happening here and make the changes it takes to be a fast food winner. It’s sad when $ 6+ burger places are kicking your ass in service too.
