Never eat here. Food poisoning alert. My my and I had lunch on Monday here and we were both violently sick all night. Horrific food poisoning. We will never return.

Not too big and not too small, a place you’ll find a pleasure to go. The staff friendly and welcoming, the cooks kind and passionate. Great food, great people and rightfully so, a great experience. A+

I don’t leave reviews for places I have not visited but this place makes me laugh. My wife wanted me to call and place an order for pick up for us and the kids. No website to view a menu and the lady said they have no email to send me a menu, She said«You come in to look at menu». How do I know what my kids want? I found a menu on a menu site and called to place an order at 4:17PM. When I tried to place an order she said. «we on lunch, call back 4:30.» Really? You want me to call you back in 13 minutes when it is more convenient for you? Ha… I think not missy.

So much variety and choices for Thai and Sushi cuisine. Well decorated inside and owners and staff are the most professional and polite. I never have a bad meal here.

Fuji Thai is no doubt the best restaurant for Thai food and sushi in the area. Nice atmosphere and friendly service.

I used to love this place, their sushi is tasty and it’s never super crowded. After a trip to Thailand, I realize that their Thai food is not up to par. The oyster sauce in my Pad See Eiw tasted like it was burnt and the noodles in the Pad Thai were rubbery and not cooked enough. I know that nothing will compare to the country of origin but this was just gross. The sushi is consistently good so I may have returned for it but the last time I was in, their chopsticks were moldy. Nasty!!! I’ll be finding an authentic Thai restaurant that is clean, Khab Khun Ka!(‘thank you’ in Thai)

My all-time favorite sushi place! The spicy tuna is perfectly done and the delivery is quick and has very few mistakes. Also love the ginger dressing on the green salad!

Excellent all around. Great service. Great Crab Rangoon. Miso soup also delicious. Chicago Bear roll and Niagara roll were exceptionally scrumptious. Prices reasonable for quantity and quality. Will secondly come back. :)

I’ve been here a few time and like going here for a quick bite. I haven’t had any of the noodles just because I keep coming back for the sushi. The best thing about this place is that there are many pictures on the menu making it easy to see what you want. I’m a big fan of the specialty rolls.

I wasn’t so sure the first time, but now that I know what to order, I am a fan. I first came here for my sister’s birthday and we ordered a LOT of food. Sushi, appetizers, entrees for the table to share as well as our own entrees. For me, the experience was so-so. I enjoyed about 60% of what I tasted, and I had a really hard time ordering for myself because I felt like everything had bell peppers, coconut, curry, or asparagus. Honestly, what is with asparagus and cream cheese in sushi? It doesn’t belong there. What I did like was the Pad Se Ew, the Fuji Fried Rice, the Thai Eggplant Rama(tempura eggplant with peanut sauce) and whichever sushi roll my dad ordered that was draped with like an entire eel filet. I didn’t care for the Chicken Rama, which was described the same as the eggplant but the chicken was way over-fried and the coating was very coarse, like store bought chicken nugget coating. I contemplated getting sushi, but again, asparagus/cream cheese, wtf. A few weeks later I was house-sitting nearby and decided to give the delivery a shot. I ordered entirely too much food, but what else is new? Here’s the run-down: Tuna Lava: I thought would be like a Tuna Poke where the fish is diced up to be the same size as the pieces of avocado, but this was more like, mashed. The flavor was bomb, but the texture was blah. Eggplant Rama: I actually ended up not eating this and reheating it in the oven the next day and that was a GOOD decision. The tempura re-crisped beautifully. Spider Roll: I ordered this without asparagus and they honored my wishes. The soft shell crab was HUGE and so crispy. I LOVE soft shell crab rolls. Especially when they don’t have asparagus. White Sox roll: This was very interesting because instead of being shrimp tempura on the inside, it was regular shrimp and tempura crunchy flakes inside. It made for a new texture and I dug it. Now that I know that they will honor requests to leave out ingredients, I will definitely be back!

AWFUL!!! The WORST Thai food ever!!! Bland does not describe it. Not only did they overcharge for delivery(4 miles away) but the mussaman currry(they spell is masaman) is like watery soup with NO flavor. The Tom Yum soup has ZERO ginger or any type of flavor to it. I wonder if they have any idea what they are making… if it’s just Thai for American taste buds??? I’ve been to Thailand and know real Thai food. Pretty much any Thai place in Chicago can deliver a good meal for a a good price. If you really like bland, watery food, than go for Fuji Thai. The name itself says it’s Japanese food with Thai second. I rarely ever Unilocal restaurants, but I paid $ 36($ 5 for delivery 4 miles away) for a small watery curry, a small half-filled box of white rice, and the worst Tom Yum EVER!!! They don’t know what they are doing. Those of you who like this place have no idea what Thai food tastes like. You’re being tricked. When I called them to ask what they had delivered , their only reply was.“what do you want?” I want what you describe as Thai food. If you don’t know how to make it, don’t put it on your menu.

I have found this place consistently bad… I know people who have had food poisoning from here and landed in the hospital. The portions are small and the taste is bland and greasy. Not like some amazing places in Chicago. Cheap on their portions and Pricey for the wallet. Not a good mix. I have only had take out.

My current favorite sushi place! Great place to stop in for lunch. Fuji Thai is one of my group’s regular places. It’s within ten minutes from the office, and we’re usually back out in 30 – 45 minutes. The lunch specials are reasonably priced, and there’s a good selection available. Sometimes my group will order two or three sushi rolls for the table. Many of the rolls are under 10 dollars. The place gets crowded for lunch around noon, so getting there between 11:30 — 11:45 to beat the crowd.

Fuji Thai is a small little restaurant that provides good service and delicious food. The cashier who took our order was friendly and helpful with what to order. As I have mentioned from my previous reviews, employees should know what they are serving and what to suggest. Since we had never been there before, he suggested the Bangkok Cashew, Mixed Vegetables, Peanut Chicken Rama, and Thai Ginger. Bangkok Cashew was filled with flavors that left a good impression. The chicken was cooked perfectly as sometimes chicken is cooked for too long making it dry and tough. The special sauce they serve with this was just unforgettable. Mixed Vegetables was also good. If I had time to cook, this one would be easy to make and can be made at home. The freshness of the ingredients was what brought this dish to life. Most of the time, the vegetables we get seem old and bought a week ago. I would order this again. Peanut Chicken was a great dish. Although, I wish there were vegetables that came with this dish because for someone who orders for one and can’t eat more than one dish would feel there was something lacking if they just ordered this one dish. Otherwise, as long as you order Mixed Vegetables and this, then it’s perfect. Thai Ginger was also a good dish. Since I love ginger, there could never be enough ginger in this dish. As long as you advise them how much ginger to put, they will do that for you if you can’t handle too much of the ginger taste. I would come by again for dinner in the future.

The sushi is great! I’ve tried the rainbow, florida, and futo rolls — all very fresh and tasty! The presentation is very nice as well, which I always appreciate at sushi places. Their prices are reasonable, with rolls ranging from $ 5-$ 14. On Mon-Wed, they have a happy hour from 4−6pm(I think those are the hours) with 25% of all rolls. I haven’t tried any of the thai dishes on the menu, but from other reviews it sounds like they are good as well! The only con I have is that the service can be kind of slow. Overall, I think this is a great local place in the area!

If you’re in the Buffalo Grove area, this is pretty much the best you’re going to get for Thai food from an independent place. It’s nothing amazing nor special but it’ll at least satisfy any Thai craving you have. I consistently order either the Pad See Ew(beef), Panang Curry, or Pad Thai. Maybe I’m just playing it safe, but it shouldn’t hard to mess any of these dishes up. All my orders have been similar and have been correct. The Pad See Ew is a bit on the saltier side but nonetheless, it satisfies my Thai craving when I go. The setting is a decent size but it will not large party friendly for those wishing to go at any lunch or dinner rushes. Parking is available and abundant. Service is average — nothing special. 4⁄5 stars as the food is good but overall not the best Thai you’ll ever have.

Great Thai and Sushi restaurant. We had Thai on a Saturday night, but I look forward to enjoying some katsu and sushi on my next visit! Great menu, enough room to be comfortable, well appointed small restaurant. Fast service, the food was on our table before we were done with our appetizer. We started with the satay, which is very gingery and amazing. I had the thin noodle shrimp salad, which was delish, and he had the cashew tofu and rice. Very pleased with our order and portions. They forgot we ordered dessert and gave us the check, so we reminded them. That’s why it’s one star short of five.

Still just 4 stars. I work by here so I order frequently. Everyone is very nice and they have no minimum to deliver. I tried the larb and it was crap compared to Thailand and still crap compared to the city. It was soggy and missing lots of ingredients. With the nice staff, I wish they could hear me out more when I ask for«Thai spicy.» Dude, I’m not joking. Load it up.

What you see is definitely NOT what you get! When attempted to discuss this order with staff was told that actual orders NEVER look as they do on pictures but the price is still the same. Wanted to email the photo I posted to the restaurant but staff refused to provide their email address. McDonalds advertising at its finest.
