Time for more salt melt. My better half went in to buy 240lb bag of salt melt. A few minutes later out came a hector man with a bag in each arm and placed them in my trunk. THANKYOU. Now that is customer service. A+

Awefull customer service. I took my lawnmower blades in on a Saturday to be sharpened. Immediately I felt as if I was inconveniencing the employee just walking through the door. He told me they would be done the next day. One of the blades was bent so I asked for him to let me know if it was not salvageable and needed to be replaced. He said ok. Closing time arrives the next day and no call. So I call. The guy just says«yeah, I haven’t gotten to them yet. Ok?» Then hangs up without giving me an eta. I call later the next day to check and he said, «yeah, one of the blades was bent». Yes. I told you that and asked you to call me if its salvageable. He then said«we went ahead and ordered 1 new blade and it will be in Wednesday or Thursday. This was on a Monday. Despite the fact I was not contacted and and given a price before they ordered it, I let it slide. Wednesday, no call. Thursday, no call. I call them. «Yep. They’re ready. New blade is $ 15». They didn’t mention the cost of sharpening. I come in and the man at the counter was very grumpy. He asked for my ticket and found my blade(s). They ordered two new ones. Not one as I was told. Of course they weren’t tagged with a price so I had to sit around and wait for him to struggle to read the part number, look up the price, huff and puff because the phone was ringing and have an attitude with the person on the other end. I also witnessed a customer come in with a simple request. He needed a straight allen bit for his drill. He was holding a drill and an allen wrench. With an attitude, the man behind the counter told him«just cut the thing». The customer explained that he had no way of cutting and asked politely if he could cut It. The man bluntly said no and walked away. Anyway, back to my blades. They were actually $ 17 each. Not $ 15 as I was told. Normally I would refuse the product and walk out the door but I’ve waited long enough so I just paid and got the hell out of there. I will NEVER go back. This was not my first bad experience here but will certainly be my last. The employees are rude and treat you like you are an inconvenience.

If Zero stars was an option, I’d select that. This store has unbelievably bad customer service. They have the rudest, nastiest employees I have ever encountered. I am a strong Toro supporter and I love their products. I’ve bought more than 10 Toro snow throwers and lawn mowers for my home and my offices. I live less than a block from this store and every time I go there I regret it. They simply don’t give a damn about customer service, and go out of their way to make it like you’re inconveniencing them when you walk in the store. I strongly recommend Hectors on Maple Road, they are much friendlier.

The water heater at my property in Amherst was gushing water and I had to get it fixed. At first I called them for a recommendation with plumbers but Jeff told me they have licensed plumbers that do work. I said even better here’s my name and number to call me, my tenant is home pretty much all day. Not only were my tenant and I stood up I did not receive one phone call from Jeff or anyone employed there. Instead I called them three times to find out what the hell’s going on to which they lied in my second phone call saying someone will show up within the hour. I wasted a whole day waiting. Because of them my tenant was without hot water for a whole day making me look like a slumlord. Next day I decided not to depend on them and got another recommendation where it was fixed in a couple of hours. Guess what? I still haven’t heard from Jeff or anyone else! Great customer service they have there, surprised they’re still in business with The Home Depot being 5 minutes away.
