Probably the largest selection of fabrics in the area, although their home décor section does not seem as extensive as other area locations. In general with this chain, everything is wildly overpriced, then selectively offered at a 40 or 50 discount. Coupons are also available. Personally, I find this terribly annoying since it means tracking down coupons or timing your purchase to get the same price you’d find online every day.

This was the first Jo-Ann I have ever been to… and I was almost weeping with joy. We don’t have Jo-Ann stores in Canada(or at least not in the part where I’m from) and there are limited choices and generally expensive fabric and tools for my quilting needs. Aside from the selection, the staff was great in explaining about the different brands of scissors that they carried. They were also quite friendly in other respects, giving us recommendations on where we could go for lunch, for example =)

Sew What? I cant say enough about Jo-Ann Fabrics & Crafts. Fabrics gallore! They also have a whole lot of other stuff now, to, not just sewing notions like frames and Halloweeen stuff(at Halloween time) and Christmas stuff(at Christmas time) and Easter stuff(whenever Easter is. It keeps moving, doesnt it?) Do they have Thankisgiving stuff? I dont know, but I suppose you could sew yourself a turkey if you felt like it. This Jo-Ann is big, but I like the other one better which is also big. Kinda like the IMAX of fabric store’s. 3D! Thread — yeah!
