The real original Honey’s in Niagara Falls NY(on Pine St) was great. It was a bit of a dive but had lots of character. The day they moved, and expanded, it all went downhill. Ask a local and they’ll point you toward a better wing/pizza place.

Walked into this place at 11:45 am for lunch on my lunch break. As I pulled in the parking lot I noticed a member of the kitchen staff going through the cigarette butt can, looking for butts. I should have left at that point. I walked in the doors and there are other staff members hanging out at a table by the door. The hostess treated me nicely and pointed me to the bar. I walked into the dark LOUD bar area and sat down. There was no one behind the bar. I waited. A girl shows up and waves a menu at me from across the bar because it was too loud to ask if I wanted one. She made her way over, gave me the menu and I asked for water with a lemon. She looked around and said I’ll be right back. I waited AGAIN. While looking at the menu I noticed they wanted 8.99 for a Greek salad, feta is and extra 1.99 and chicken is an extra 3.99. Overpriced ! I would be embarrassed to own this place. This is the second time I’ve been at this location and was let down the first time as well in the dining room.

Went here for lunch for another try. Our waiter was friendly, but an overcooked cheese burger, forgetting the cheese, way to dark for mid day, greasy chips, flat soda, and smoking employees outside ruined it in full for me. There’s a lot of potential, prime location for a work lunch hour, but they just need a total turnover of the cooking staff.

Honeys is not good at all. I only come here when it’s super late, and there’s nothing better in town. The only thing they’ve got that isn’t so bad are the wings. I got Honey Garlic and Garlic Parmesan. They tasted mediocre to me. I’ve also had their burger and fries. The patty is always burnt, and the fries are soggy and tasteless. The staff isn’t really that friendly. I’ve been there maybe three times, and each time, the waiter/waitress was alright. One time, one of my friends asked for a beer, and the waiter made us get up and walk over to the fridge to get it. Seriously? In addition, at night, between the hours of 12AM-4AM, the DJ or whatever in the bar plays horrendous, cheap music that’s way too loud for anyone’s ears. I do not recommend!

I wish I could have given 0 stars as an option. Today I had one of THEWORST dining experiences I’ve ever had. I was excited to try honey’s as it seemed there was a nice environment and extensive menu. The problem started when I ordered a Dr. Pepper and received a Root Beer which is not acceptable. The waitress told me the soda label was labeled Dr. Pepper and not Root Beer. Easy mistake. After that, I ordered Boneless wings. Within 5 minutes, I was told the truck didn’t come and they were out of wings due to a special for the Bills game on Monday evening. Okay, I can buy that. I was slightly annoyed, but I could deal with that. My second option was a pulled pork sandwich. Another 5 minutes later, I was appalled to learn they were out of pulled pork. WTF. I made a snide comment asking the waitress if they were out of anything else and she listed another item they were out of. I’m not sure what kind of business they are running here, but a business that is out of stock for this many items is clearly being poorly managed. I worked in food service for several years and am now in business, and I can honestly say that a business that is out of several items is a hurting business. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. This experience really tainted my first time there. Stay away!!!

I don’t know what all the fuss is about… Checked this place out multiple times each time it was awesome. Best wings I ever had :) Spinach artichoke dip was fresh and delicious… I think certain individuals come here with the mindset that it’s supposed to be a Buffalo Wild Wings but these guys represent themselves and you need to take two steps back a realize people make mistakes and everything can be fixed with time, with that being said no one is perfect people do have their bad days. On a lighter note this place is amazing and the food wether it be wings or any other item on the menu has been delicious. I recommend to try this place out and enjoy !

It’s just not very good. The staff is friendly and accommodating, but the place just doesn’t serve good food. It’s like the Bills’ quarterback situation — it’s just bad. Yikes. I can’t see this location surviving for much longer. Update from 12/10/2015 Honey’s on Maple is now shut down. Thankfully.

Decent once. While run down looking, you may expect this place to be out of business but, now you know it is open; and when in the area have no excuse not to try these wings… Don’t try anything else though, it won’t measure up to anything great… not such great service but they do love their Buffalo Bills(which is to be expected) various selection of wing choices, just wish they did better on the other apps and drinks. I’m not saying these wings are great but Honey’s is certainly better than the slummy area looks… Actually they are just on par with how it looks, this place will doubtable ever reclaim its name — don’t bother

Well I gave it a fair shot. I can see why the guys wanted to watch a football game here. Beer, pizza, wings, lots of TV’s and lots of room. I have to rate two stars for the spacious bar area, cleanliness and our bartender, when able and/or near, was very nice regardless of circumstance. Watching what was going on around our group, I was actually quite impressed with our bartender. She was the only associate that was impressive during our entire experience. Let me set the tone for you. Saturday evening, bar that can probably seat 20⁄25 people comfortably, bar tables that can accommodate at least another 50 people. Notre Dame/Clemson game was playing, movie theatre near by which I am sure produces business for Honey’s on a Saturday, center of UB area and turns out, they were hosting Trivia. When we first arrived, we were able to sit right at the bar. Plenty of seats and tables available. It did not take more than a few minutes to see that our bartender was also the server for this entire area and had zero help. Within a half an hour, the bar was full and every table had a party at it. Whether the tables had two or four guests, every table was taken. This one girl was expected to bartend and serve this entire room. She really tried to hit every person as quickly as she could. When she was able to attend to us, she was pleasant but you could tell rushed. Attentive and nice but too little time to smile and breathe. I really give her a lot of credit for pulling it off as well as we could see. Sure, we waited quite a bit in between our Blue Moon’s but not long enough to mind knowing she was running around with more than anyone person can handle. You could tell as the night went on, her patience was wearing thin. So you are clearly overworked and then on top of it, this bartender had to endure the rest of her co-workers attitudes and ignorance. Example, one server from the dining area came behind the bar to text on her cell phone. I am guessing this was because it’s a great spot to hide from management, assuming management existed somewhere in the building. If there was a manager on duty, they were not present at all. I peaked in the actual dining area and as expected, no where near as busy as the bar and more staff to help each other out. Our food was ran out to us by another server(not the texter) and she was not only rude but pretty much let us know she did not want to bother when we asked for another set of silverware and extra napkins. Notice I haven’t even mentioned the food yet because even if it had been spectacular, it was overshadowed by our not so great experience. Our bartender did stop to ask if everything was okay and one of our group members wanted more bleu cheese but didn’t ask because he felt bad giving her one more thing to do. At one point, another associate(no idea what roll they play) came behind the bar to pour a drink that clearly had never poured a drink before. I watched another customer tell her she was pouring out of the wrong hole in the pour top… I mean, come on. We ordered boneless wings, regular wings, white pizza and their signature Ranchero pizza. All of the food was good. Nothing special but good. At the end of the day, it really doesn’t matter how good the food could have been. Understaffed on a Saturday night with a scheduled event is poor service standards. The biggest disappointment was the lack of management. At the very least run some food, touch a table, pour a draft, bus a table, make your presence known. For as much as our bartender ran her butt off, she would have made much more money had there been one or two more associates on duty to help assure a great customer experience. You could see and hear other guests agitation with the wait for everything. Our group consisted of a few retired restaurant/bar staff so we understood what she was going through and felt bad for her. If you do not know the business, there is less of an understanding and much more frustration with the lack of service. No need to return.

This place is absolutely horrible! I DONOT recommend ever coming here. The service is disgraceful l, I’ve sat in the bar area all two times I have gone and the bartenders have been nothing but rude and caddy. Last time I visited on a Sunday for football and asked for a Bloody Mary… WORST thing I’ve ever tasted. There was only hot sauce, tomato juice and vodka, no seasonings at all! I asked the server if it could be remade with some pepper, and horseradish/Worcestershire sauce. The server(a male) was completely fine with me asking it to be remade and went to the bar to have the bartender remake it for me. About 5 minutes later THEBARTENDER(a woman) came to the table and SLAMED my bloody onto my table and RUDLY told me they have NO celery salt and that’s why she made it the way she did. Her tone was very nasty, when slamming my drink on the table she spelled some on the table as well. She didn’t give me any chance to say anything back and stormed away. My server clearly saw what happened and came over to apologize, I made it VERY clear that I was offended and that this bartender needed to realize 1 how to make a Bloody Mary and 2 that some people like it made a specific way. I was still charged for this bloody marry as well and I also made sure my server knew that she spilled some of it on my table and didn’t clean it up. The food that I have had was nothing special as well. I recently saw someone complain about a food poisoning issue recently on Facebook. I liked this place better when it was attached to the blvrd mall and I would normally go late nights when a man named Donny was working. Trust me when I say that you have been warned about this place, avoid at all costs!

This is not the Honey’s I remember from my childhood in Niagara Falls(Pine Ave.). I ordered a large pizza and 10 wings. When I picked up the pizza I was shocked at the size of the box. It was so small. I told the guy I ordered a large, not a small/medium pizza. He said it was a large. When I lifted the lid, there were 8 small pieces($ 15.00). I was not happy. He was apologetic. When I got home and saw the wings I again was disappointed. The wings were scrawny, dry little things. The sauce on the pizza tasted sour. Waste of $ 25.00!

I don’t think the haddock fish fry was haddock. It wasn’t flaky, it was mushy and the beer batter was greasy. The worst fish that I had in years. You can get better fish at McDonalds. In an area that most bars have great fish fries this one was not very good. On the bright side the french fries were hand cut and crispy. I am 70 years old with grey hair. I ordered a beer and the waitress had the gall to ask me for proof of age. I was offended and embarrassed. Thats not a good thing if they want repeat customers. To sum it all up… AVOIDTHISPLACEATALLCOSTS!

If you have not been to Honeys better hurry because it won’t be here long. Terrible service and meh food. Ordered the Greek salad $ 8.99 no cucumbers, no chicken, a sprinkling of tomatoes and feta and no dressing. At 6pm on a Wednesday we were only one of 3 tables and the waitress never came back. I had to approach her for some dressing. Save your money and your time and go to any other Amherst restaurant.

My friend won a party here for 10 people for 2 hours. It was free well/draft with pizza, wings and shrimp. The pizza was okay but it was cut in a really odd way? The shrimp was definitely frozen at some point. It was just typical frozen/breaded/fried shrimp. I didn’t try any of the wings. They charged us extra for blue cheese. The bartenders were nice and the service was quick. They also had a lot of arcade games throughout the building which was cool. The ATM has a $ 5 fee, which I did not appreciate! They accept credit cards but as this was a free party, we needed cash to tip. A $ 5 fee is unacceptable. Overall, it’s just a below average chain with below average food.

Food was really not that good. Ordered chicken finger pizza that honestly wasn’t any better than Pizza Hut and ordered parmesan garlic wings. Those also had a strange after taste. I would definitely not come back and waste my time.

Threw a completely offensive St Patrick’s Day party. Whoever is running this bar must be completely ignorant. I’ll never step foot in this establishment.
