Good, clean hotel from the Marriott family. I was warmly greeted when I walked in the hotel. The desk clerk realized my room was not ready and because of my Marriott status she upgraded me to a suite which is very nice. There is a small market pantry to get food and personal items. There’s a large lobby with many social sitting areas. The lobby is bright in colors and with nice sunlight coming through. I’m very happy with the room and the hotel overall and would stay here again.

The area is located in, has eeeevvveeryyything, the biggest Mall I’ve ever seen directly across the street, to 24 hr Super Walmart, any and every food you could think of. There are all kinds of different stores to shop in. I luv this area!!! We got there and the lobby is nice and clean. We were greeted by the friendly staff. We got to our room 514, which was nice and clean. It has a small kitchen with a sink and small frig. We had double beds and pillows which are soft and clean too. Bathroom is ok could use a power wash, tub was dirty looking(the reason for 4 stars). But all in all, the room was nice and clean. I would recommend anyone to stay there. When I come back to georgia this is where I’m staying.

Recently upgraded rooms and a fairly nice size for a suite. This is kind of in the boonies, but good because it’s near lots of chains. They have a free buffet breakfast, but its not the healthiest(what can you do, its the south.) I suppose bc it’s free, there are no complaints — but expect something like egg beaters, microwave bacon, and tater tots. They do have a waffle station but you’re better off going to the Waffle House down the street. A Target is down the road, which is fairly convenient. If I had to stay in Buford again, I would consider it, but given that I am a city girl and kind of a hotel snob is probably want to aim for someplace a little more swanky. I’m sure if I had some kids in tow this would be more my speed.

Average hotel room but stellar staff! A year passed between visits and the front desk staff still remembered me! What a great place!

I enjoyed my stay here. The rooms are spacious, and well appointed. The beds are extremely comfortable. The only qualm I have about this place is the way the front entrance, and the restroom door is situated. I found it odd to have to go around the bathroom door every time I got out of the restroom. Not a big deal, just something I randomly noticed. The décor is modern, and the front desk is friendly and helpful. The breakfast in the morning isn’t bad at all, and the fact that they have a coffee station open 24⁄7 is definitely a plus.

I thought the hotel was in Duluth since it came up on that search. Couldn’t find it on my GPS, which gave me Buford Hwy instead of Buford Rd. Called hotel 3 times, let ring 10 times each, but no answer. No answer at national line either. Turned out that there is only 1 employee here for the Labor Day weekend & he was off doing maintenance. Called again at 10 pm because bedside lamps wouldn’t turn on; no answer. Obviously, no one at the desk. What manager would have only 1 employee on a major holiday? Bedside phone doesn’t dial out. Elevators very slow. This is not a cheap motel at $ 109/night.

I stayed here for a competition and was very impressed with the staff. They were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice and spacious and the rooms didn’t smell as if someone had smoked in them. I would stay there again if I ever came back to Buford, HA.

Stayed here for one night. The rooms itself… isn’t anything special. I didn’t like how the AC was RIGHT next to the bed. A few times at night I was woken up by it. Lighting in the sink has a magnetic hum that makes it annoying to even stand there for 5 minutes. Good little«ktichen» and office space near the door. TV’s not LCD, which wouldn’t be so bad if it actually worked. Half the channels had bad signals. The one thing I love about this Springhill is its location. Right across is the Mall of Georgia, fairly big mall with your typical shops and food court. There’s also Starbucks, ice cream shop, and even Japanese food at the shopping plaza next to it. Fairly convenient for a hotel in the suburbs. Also loved the free internet. I absolutely hate paying that additional $ 10 – 13 hotels charge nowadays, so that’s always a plus. Complimentary breakfast isn’t anything special. Eggs, bacons, sausages, waffles, cereals, etc etc, but it is nice not having to worry about what to eat. There’s a fitness center but it is extremely small. One set of free weights with 3 – 4 cardio machines. There’s a pool but usually packed with families lounging around during the summer. Service at the front is great though.

Okay. You get what you paid for. It’s good for the price point. Great location. Thin walls. Filthy pool that looks like you could get cancer from swimming in it. And an FPF(Fat People Food) breakfast buffet. No wireless internet, but their wired internet was decently fast. Staff is very nice but fellow guests don’t realize just how thin the walls are. Small window in long rooms make the suites seems dark and lonely. I wouldn’t use for business travel. But good if you’re with family and want to have the convenience of just walking across the street to the the opulent Mall of Georgia.

This place was nice. TONS of stuff within walking distance and the mall was right across the street. Internet was OK, no firewall blocking problems but the speed was only about 128k.
