Yummy little café, if there is a wait it is worth it! The coffee called café de olla is amazing, I could drink a pitcher. The place is very small inside and they have a few tables outside. There are omelettes, pancakes and traditional Mexican breakfasts.

Superb customer service! authentic Mexican food, authentic milk shakes and the most delicious coffee I’ve ever had. A gem hidden on Victory Blvd close to Buena Vista. You do not want to pass this place up. The long lines will make it easier to spot and the orange umbrella outside. Get there early or be sure to have coffee or water because the wait can be 45 to an hour long to be seated. It’s definitely worth the wait. I recommend the breakfast chilaquiles or huevos rancheros. The strawberry milkshakes, tortilla soup is delicious french toast was yummy and the pancakes are fluffy, yummy and big portions. They have a big variety of plates on their menu for being a small family owned restaurant. I’ve been here twice so far and love it!

The entire staff is very friendly and the food is delicious. If you have a special diet like paleo or keto they can make something for you. Opening at 7AM is great and there’s plenty of parking on the street or around the corner. Fantastic food spot when flying out of or into Burbank Airport.

This place is EVERYTHING! I’m not really a fan of coffee but theirs is truly the BUSINESS! It was like a delicious cross between coffee and hot chocolate… and their banana pecan pancakes will d@mn near make you lose your mind… This is definitely my new breakfast spot but keep it on the DL because the wait can get up to an hour but we’ll worth the wait…

I’m a bit delayed writing this review, but better late than never, right?! We have been here several times around lunch but we always end up ordering breakfast. We’ve had the following: The All-In-One Breakfast Burrito: we’ve ordered this one several times. It comes with ham, bacon, sausage, hashbrowns, cheese, and I can’t remember what else. It’s really good! Chorizo Breakfast Burrito: my boyfriend has ordered this once. He said it was good, but not as good as the regular breakfast burrito because it lacked the different flavors the other one has. Machaca con Huevo: this was really good! It was scrambled eggs mixed with onions, jalapenos(fresh), and shredded beef. It was served with rice, refried beans, and tortillas. Huevos con Chorizo: another winner! It’s also served with rice, refried beans, and tortillas. The Special Omelette: this has ham, sausage, mushrooms, cheese, and avocado. It was served with breakfast potatoes. Everything comes with a small side of their salsa, which is really good! It has flavor and a little spice, but nothing overwhelming. If you’re like me and you like salsa, you’ll need more than one of those little sides. ;) Bottom line is that, so far, everything here has been good! We will definitely be back. The restaurant is very small and has a couple of outside tables, so if it’s a peak time, you may have a wait. The one time we did, the wait wasn’t that long. Service is good, fast, and friendly. Parking is free on the street, but we have never had trouble finding a close spot. Don’t think any longer, just come here. You won’t regret it!

COST: $ 10.25(Supreme Omelet) $ 13.95(Del Ranchero) $ 9.95(Fruity Pancakes) $ 2.95(Café De Olla **THEIRSPECIALTY!, duh**) $ 2.50(Regular Coffee) I’ll be home in Burbank this weekend and MOST likely going to stop here again once or twice, so I figured it’s now or never I tell y’all about my first visit at this wonderful mom and pop shop. We wanted to get brunch. We discussed a few options, but we almost always end up going to Bea Bea’s and so we did very predictably. Unfortunately it was a Saturday morning and it was after 9AM so we would have had to wait an hour for seats… we said pass. My companion suggested we should try out Café de Olla by our house since she always sees how packed he lines are. When we got there, there was a thirty minute wait but they ask for your cellphone and they call you when you’re ready. That way, you could pregame at the Yogurtland right across or get some shopping done at the 99 Cents store. When I say mom and pop shop, I mean that in the most literal sense. The server told me the place is run by a couple, their little brother and a couple other relatives. It’s a true family affair and it made me fall in love with the place. I’m a believer in the American Dream, and these guys are straight up killing it! So much so that there will always almost be a wait to get seated AND to get your food since it’s just the husband or the wife who cooks ALL the dishes. BEPATIENTANDDON’T BERUDE! Do not question your existence there as the food will be gloriously fantastic! All of the food tasted great mainly because I felt like their ingredients were fresh and sourced locally. I try to avoid sugars even though Café De Olla had raw sugar AND tasted fantastic. I highly recommend it. As you can tell by how much I’ve rambled, this is easily the BESTBRUNCHPLACEINBURBANK. The adorable family who runs it is cherry on top!

Finally stopped by here with my girlfriend after having this place bookmarked for a while. Stopped by at around 11:30am on a Saturday morning and we were seated within five minutes. The place is pretty small so I see why there would be a long wait on busy days. I went with the classic french toast that came with eggs, bacon or sausage, and a choice of potatoes or fruit. For the price, it was a really good deal. Most places charge $ 8.50 just for the french toast alone. It was good, nothing to special because it was just plain toast. My girlfriend got a breakfast burrito and wow, it was delicious. They actually put seasoning in the burrito which made it really special. The salsa that comes on the side was flavorful and had a nice kick to it. And of course, if you come here for breakfast make sure to get the café de olla. Coffee with brown sugar and cinnamon, delicious! Great service and a cute décor. Wonderful place to stop by for breakfast!

Went here again — don’t know why I waited so long! This time I had the breakfast quesadilla which is basically the same as the egg white sandwich I had last time but in a wrap… so basically — an egg white breakfast wrap! I asked for it spicy and they added jalapenos and homemade salsa — which was the bomb! I also ordered their Mexican coffee(coffee roasted with cinnamon and sugar) and it was delicious! I wasn’t sure what it would be like so they offered me a taste before purchasing and I knew I needed it! It is sweet and served very hot which I love. If you aren’t into sweet coffees, then this isn’t for you. Looks like this place is always packed, and I can see why. The lovely ladies who work there are always so nice, helpful and friendly. It has the vibe where you want to go back. So happy to have discovered this local Burbank gem! Would love to come here for Brunch on day. Looks like there is always a little wait — but the food and service is great so be patient and you will have a great meal! *also tried the veggie breakfast burrito another time and again service was wonderful(and with a smile!) and the breakfast burrito was delicious!

This little place is full of delicious food, got there around 9:00a.m.the very sweet waitress said you can sit anywhere, plenty of tables available at that time, so many choices on the menu I couldn’t decide, I have seen a lot of great reviews on the chilaquiles so I said must try, now for my beverage I knew it was going to be the famous café de Olla and I wasn’t disappointed it was perfectly sweet, the cinnamon aroma was amazing sip after sip, you don’t need to add anything to it, I ended up having two cups, plus another to go. We ordered the chilaquiles suizas, it is served with white rice and beans topped with over easy eggs, the chilaquiles were perfectly crunchy with the creamy tomato sauce-suiza style the flavor was amazing and the chilaquiles en salsa verde were also delicious! The service and quality of the food deserve five stars, I will definitely be back to try the other sweet menu items, keep up the goodness in the food café de Olla!

I heard good things about this place so I decided to check out! I went on a weekday around 10:45am so I was in the mood for lunch items and ordered the turkey club with fries. I sat near the window on a cushioned bench that had the cutest decorative pillows! It was a small space, and was full with patrons by the time I sat down, but the noise level was low. And the staff was beyond sweet and courteous. The sandwich was fresh and delicious with lightly toasted bread that gave it a nice crunch around the edges but was still soft and firm. The fries weren’t oily at all and lightly salted that came with a small cup of ketchup. The presentation was nice too with generous portions(I maybe left behind a third of the fries), and it only came out to around $ 10. Not bad! I noticed others in the restaurant had ordered breakfast items, most notably the French toast and pancakes. They looked amazing, so I’ll have to come back and try them along with the coffee that I heard great things about.

Sooo good! Been wanting to come here for a few weeks now and finally had the opportunity. Place is cute but small so expect a wait. However I did go at 9am on Sunday so a wait was expected. Overall great environment. Ordered the Del Sur which includes small portion of beans, eggs, chilaquiles and chicken fajitas. So good! Not a small plate at all! Was great because I was able to try the chilaquiles and fajitas. The best part was that café de olla! Def. A must try! My family works in a coffee company so I know a GOOD coffee when I have it. Had 2 cups of that café de olla and enjoyed every sip. That flavor of Mexican hot chocolate and cinnamon all mixed into the delicious flavor of coffee. My mom said it reminded her of that coffee how grandmother made in Mexico ever morning when she was a child. I will definitely be returning here to try new foods and have more café de olla!

There is nothing I love more than discovering delicious homemade food that’s clean, healthy, and takes like home. And nothing beats when the food is phenomenal, and the owners genuinely care about your experience at their establishment. With that said, Café De Olla definitely delivers. From taste, to cleanliness, to customer service… they definitely have it down. The place truly is a hole in the wall as it seats no more than 30 people, but that doesn’t stop many from waiting for a spot to enjoy their delicious weekend brunch. Their coffee, is a must, a. must. My dad, whom isn’t impressed by much, ordered 3 cups of this delicious coffee, back to baaaaaaack. I ordered their huevos a la Mexicana and opted for toast and home fries(brunch must, duh). It was so delicious and full of flavor! My dad ordered the huevos rancheros and he licked the plate clean so if that doesn’t say enough about someone who’s hard to please, I’m not sure what does. They’ve only been around for about 3 months and already they are a hit in Burbank. Definitely will be frequenting this spot! Thank you for having such great food, AND customer service Ps– Burbank needs more hole in the wall, genuinely delicious food spots.

Loved it! Everything about this place super cute and tasty! Décor, ambience, price, food, service is five star worthy!!! The place is small and cozy aka casual and intimate. The host was very friendly and so was the waitress. My bf ordered the café de olla which is Mexico’s take on coffee by adding cinnamon and other spices. Normally I despise coffee and could never have it without milk or sugar, but the café de olla is perfect on it’s own. Drink it as is! No need to add anything to it. It was already a little sweet and you could taste the cinnamon. It was soooo good! They serve drinks, desserts, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They serve both American and Mexican items. Plus they have a healthy«green» menu as well. We came for breakfast and had plenty of options to choose from… Omelettes Breakfast plates Breakfast Sandwiches Breakfast burritos Combination plates Mexican breakfast plates Pancakes(variety) French toast(variety) We ordered the DELSUR which came with chicken fajitas, beans, eggs, and Chilaquiles poblanos. Definitely recommend the Chilaquiles poblanos! Also ordered the banana pecan pancakes which were delicious and super fluffy! The pancakes also come with eggs, bacon, and potatoes! That can’t be beat! Like I said, everything was great and I would love to come here again! A true hidden gem!

Finally got to try out Café de Olla, it was amazing. The coffee is deliciously sweet and cinnamony. I had the Del Antojo. It was so good, the bolillo topped with beans and chorizo was yummy, it reminded me of my childhood. The chilaquiles were good too. I usually like my food spicier, but the food was delicious, I didn’t even ask for hot sauce. The service staff(I wish I got their names) were so kind and welcoming. They carried beautiful smiles that made the whole experience that much better. What a great place! I can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the food!

Gave this new spot in the neighborhood a try. Pretty much everything we had was really good! The tortilla soup was probably the best I’ve had. The café de Olla was delicious! I might be grabbing a cup To-go before work in the mornings. The only thing that was just«ok» was the steak ranchero. The beans were really runny and the entire plate had runny bean water. The restaurant itself was cozy, small, but it seems to work out. It got busy fast while we were there so apparently the word has got out about this spot. We will be back soon!

Absolutely loved this place! Stopped by on a Thursday at around noon and found a parking spot on the street right in front of the door. You walk in and seat yourself. Even though the place is quite small, there was a table available. It is very cute and cozy and feels like you’re eating right at home. Service was fast, I only waited about 15 minutes or even less for my food. I got the Huevos con Chorizo plate that came with rice and beans. Everything on this plate was AMAZING. The Huevos con Chorizo were cooked to perfection. I will definitely be going back to this place to try out the rest of the menu.

I drive by this place all the time and wonder if I should… I couldn’t tell if it was going to be a bust or not. Burbank can be so random sometimes. We walked in and there were quite a few people inside for an early Saturday morning. The staff was very friendly and attentive. They have a special coffee, café de olla, with cinnamon and brown sugar that is incredible. And their regular coffee is very good as well. I ordered a kale, blueberry smoothie that I could not get enough of. Their breakfast burrito was a little heavy on the hash brown. The breakfast sandwich was good, but I wish it had a special sauce to set it apart. Nothing I could not have made at home. This will go on my list of places to make the rounds on. Very homey.

SOHAPPY this place is walking distance from my house. We decided to take the pup for a walk and grab some breakfast burritos to-go to try it out. We tried the all-in-one breakfast burrito which was very filling and delicious. You can stick an avocado in my burrito any day, yes please. $ 6.95 for a big burrito is a big deal. I’d love to come back and try the coffee one day! The interior is small and cozy and seems like a great little place to catch up with a friend.

Was hunting down a breakfast sandwich because breakfast sandwiches give me life. Especially around 12:30pm when I haven’t yet eaten anything and I want to start with eggs even though most places stop at 11⁄12. You can get breakfast any time here! I rolled up and the place was packed! The lovely ladies inside were very nice and were able to easily manage the crowds with smiles on their faces — gotta respect that! I took the egg and spinach sandwich to go(on wheat bread) and it was delicious. There was avocado in it too! And for $ 6.42 incl tax I think it was worth it. Next time, I’ll be sure to get some salsa or spicy sauce option to take it to the next level. I’d love to come back here for lunch or dinner someday and update my review! Great find — check this cute place out!

The food is great. The service is still finding its way. My coworker tried Café de Olla over the weekend after discovering it was right down the street from her house. She liked it so much she brought me back the next day for lunch. Had me at chilaquiles and breakfast served all day! The restaurant is tiny and cozy, with limited seating. Despite a small line forming outside, we got a table relatively quickly. The two servers seemed a bit overwhelmed with the crowd so we had to be proactive about going back in and claiming a spot. The lunch hour struggle is real, folks. My coworker ordered French toast with scrambled eggs and bacon and I went for the Chilaquiles Poblanos with scrambled eggs. Our drinks took a while to get to us and the food took another 15+ minutes on top of that. We mentioned a couple of times that we were in kind of a rush and were only informed about the status of the food upon request. I didn’t get to try the French toast, but it looked fluffy and delicious. As a huge fan of chile verde, the Chilaquiles Poblanos were right up my alley. A pleasant kick with the right amount of cream and yummy rice and beans to complement the dish. We finished off our meal with two Café de Ollas to go, which I definitely recommend. Paying our bill took another chunk of borrowed time from our work day, and came with a bit of attitude when we brought up the being in a rush thing again. Understood quality takes time, and new businesses want customers who are satisfied with their product, but a little grace goes a long way. At around $ 15 per person for food, soda, and coffee, it’s a pretty great deal. Just not a place to grab a quick bite during your lunch hour. More like delicious comfort food for dinner or weekend lunch/brunch when you have time to savor it.

I’ve been here 3 times since I discovered it. Twice for breakfast and 1 x for lunch. I had the steak tacos for lunch yesterday, it was exceptionally yummy! It came with 3 kinds of salsa and I ordered a small cup of guac. The guacamole here is delicious! The chips are fresh and yummy. I also met one of the owners, Danny, and he was as nice as can be. He gave me a free sample of the Café de Olla that the restaurant is named after. It was sweet and delicious and tasted like a warm cup of Christmas. Can’t wait to try more of their amazing food.

This place is a solid five stars! They truly put their heart into everything they prepare and it shows in the quality. Egg white omelets aren’t very exciting but the way they make it always leaves me wanting more… Not mention their delicious house salsa! The pancakes are soft and fluffy and soy chorizo burrito was amazing! I love that they have a whole section of the menu that is light. I am dying to go back and try everything on the menu. Btw, sample their specialty coffee it is amazing!

Discovered this place while on a walk in Burbank and I’m so glad! It might seem like a hole in the wall, but you need to try it. The only con is the wait time, but the food totally makes you forget all about that. I got the french toast with fresh berries, which comes with eggs, bacon, and potatoes, so it’s definitely a lot of food for the cost. The food is super fresh and tastes amazing!!! Must try if you’re in the area!
