I had read about this place in the Burbank Leader. I decided to stop by and get a burger… but ended up getting a Lule Kabob plate and it was very yummy. It came with some seasoned fries and a grilled tomato and pepper, which my husband really enjoyed. We will definitely be trying more items on the menu.

I tried Mix doner combo of beef and chicken which comes with a fries and drink. I can say the portion was more than enough for me. Doner was really tasty, the bread was perfectly made for the doner, and the inside sauce made it really delicious.

Decided to order from Döner Burger yesterday during lunch for our office, we all loved our food… thank you! Food: We ordered a chicken burger, beef döners, chicken wrap, and fries. The food was super fresh, juicy, and very tasty!!! The fries were really good as well. If you like sandwiches, or middle eastern type food… this is the place to go! Everyone was really happy with their lunch, and we all agreed this is going to be on our list of lunch spots for sure! We’ll be coming back often :) Service: I called to place our order, and by the time I got to the restaurant our order was ready. The workers were very nice, they made it easy peasy. Great service, another reason to go back for sure. Location: The restaurant is located in a shopping center with some other stores. There was plenty of parking, even during the lunch time I visited. The interior seemed very clean, which I also really appreciated. Overall, I am really happy I found this place on Unilocal, and now we have a new awesome place to go during lunch at work. Obviously I definitely recommend you try it out :)

I am happy to find a doner place in Burbank. My husband was always raving about doners he used to eat while living in Germany. I found this little gem on the way back from my doctor’s appointment. Every time I am in the area, I always swing by. I usually get the mixed doner and the chicken kebab plate. I also love the yogurt with cucumber sauce they have. Oh did I mention they have amazing french fries. I do wish they had rice with their kebab plate. Other than that, this is a place I highly recommend.

My first time here and I usually don’t write a review for local places visiting the first time but this one is warranted. I can honestly say this was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Let’s start with the bun, it was a large, fresh sesame brioche bun with the excess core carved out. The meat was thick, very tasty and cooked well with a nice melted slice of cheese on top. The burger included, tomatoes, pickles and diced red onions with just the right amount of parsley. Yup parsley, a very nice touch. Skeptical at first but totally sold on it upon taking the first bite. The combo included plenty of thick cut fries and a large drink. Honestly, the entire dish is big enough to split with another person.

The only place in Burbank where the hamburger is not frozen, fresh meat, thus it’s really delish! Their bun is really good and the fries are good.

The staff were all very friendly and nice, and offered suggestions when we weren’t sure what to order! Ended up getting both the doner burger and a doner beef plate with salad which were both delicious. I could live off of that white sauce. Pretty affordable with a small parking lot!

Been to many doner places around LA area, this has the chicken on point but the beef one is not, i don’t know maybe because it’s beef chunks/cubes instead of slices and the spices were different, the texture was not right for a doner…

We are happy we discovered this little gem of a restaurant in Burbank where we live! This is a middle eastern fast food at its best, we enjoy the Doners frequently, especially the chicken Doner. I also love their beef tongue wrap. The food is freshly prepared and great value for money. The Owner takes the time to explain their preparation and the choices in the menu. Try it out, you will not regret it.

I often wonder, how businesses like this place survive. The two guys at the counter seemed very unhappy and let’s say not so friendly. The wait was too long and most importantly the food was way below average. For $ 22 I can name a dozen of places that I could have at least semi enjoy my lunch. Bad attitude+long wait+bad food= won’t see me there ever again.

Very good, though doesn’t come close to ‘Berlins Doner’ on the west-side(which for me is the closest real Doener Kebap you’d get on the streets of Germany I have yet found in CA). When I am in the area though, I frequent Doner Burger; its good.

While by no means the best Doner I have ever had, just for the fact of finding one here and for how fantastic the service was, 5 stars and a huge thank you for a fantastic lunch! The owner is super nice and really cares about his business, he took the time to describe the sauces, bread and meat, all the things that really matter when it comes to a doner. No lamb meat which for me is a must, he said it does not fair well, so he sells chicken and beef. I had a mix of each and while the meat was not my fav, the bread was dead on perfect as was the sauce, even the fries taste how I remember, a nice blast from the past, brought me back to growing up in Germany. Prices are portions are more than fair, no bathroom or A/C which was kind of rough, but the fact that this is the ONLY place that sells doner, shawarma or whatever in the CORRECT bread is reason enough for me to keep coming back here every time I am in the area! I wish them nothing but the best and hope they get to stick around forever to fulfill my cravings!

Spot on deliciousness. Not too sure what«doner» means, but judging by the reviews I had to check it out. The pocket sandwich was about the size of my hand(lengthwise). Like half a pita, but thicker bread. The bread itself was thick, but soft and airy. Plus, perfect because all your fixings stay securely inside! I choose the doner mix– chicken and beef. The chicken was juicy and the beef was juicy. There were good amounts of both meats throughout. From start to finish. It included lettuce, tomatoes, and a special zesty creamy sauce! The last bites at the bottom were great because the juice from the meat and sauce had soaked through the bread, yet not breaking it. I ate mine at home and once I added hot sauce to it, it was perfection!!! This was very filling for just a sandwich at $ 7.99 I’ll be back.

So I was driving home one evening, super hungry, and I asked Siri to find me a burger place. At 8:20 p.m. I picked up my Louleh Kabob sandwich, a burger, a greek salad(yes, I said I was hungry) and went home. I thought I would regret eating so late but I didn’t. The food was GREAT! I called next day to order lunch, and the girl on the phone knew me(don’t know how), but she actually asked«so you like our food?» I said, «no, I LOVE it!» So that is how my love story started with Doner Burger. In the past 6 weeks I have either taken out or eaten there at least a dozen times. I recommended it to family and friends, and they all agree that the food is gooooood. They also have this interesting sausage sandwich on the menu called Bandari, which is not native to Persia but the vicinity I believe, but it’s good to try– quite different. My favorites are: Doner Burger, Louleh Kabab sandwich and or plate(yes I wanted fries with that!); also there chicken plate/sandwich is great! The ikra side dish is awesome! So far the only thing I didn’t like is their hummus — but then I am a true Lebanese, so I am picky there. F Come to Burbank, and try this local little nook of a place that serves a hearty-flavor rich sandwiches at very affordable prices! And as you wait, read some of the inspirational posters. Yeah, they’re good too.

Yum! I love the Mixed Doner with fries! The Greek salad is awesome… And the Kabobs are great too! Great Pita and Humus as well. Only downer is I wish they had rice. But they make up for it in customer service. Every time I go they are super nice. I usually stop there on my lunch break at work. My tip is to call ahead. Since they make everything fresh it sometimes can take a while. I wish there was one closet to where I live!

Burbank is killing it with the strip mall gems! Fast-casual setting, with an authentic mom and pop shop, quality product. The mixed doner kebob was a mouthful, to say the least. And if you make it a combo and add fries and a drink(CocaCola fountain if you’re a Coke snob like me), you’re in for a mid-break lean back before inhaling the rest. If you’re watching your figure, just skip the fries(they’re definitely just a bonus if you’re super hungry, but don’t provide any real added value to the meal). Doner House is set apart from other doner joints like it because of the outer layer. It’s a cross between pita and sourdough, if that makes any sense to anyone. I prefer full-fledged pita, but I can appreciate a little gentrified twist on it, especially because it makes for a more secure vessel for the bountiful stuffing. DH doesn’t skimp on anything!

I came to Doner House to try their beef shish kabob plate, and enjoyed my meal. I would probably rate somewhere between A-OK(3 stars) to «Yay! I’m a Fan»(4 stars). — The place is casual, located in a small corner plaza. Parking was abundant when I came. You order up front, take a seat, and the staff brings the order to your table. — The plate came with rice, a grilled tomato half, a grilled whole pepper, some flatbread, and 6 kabob pieces. After using the 10% off Unilocal Check-In deal, the meal was still about $ 12. — I wished that it came with hummus. It didn’t though, so I tried to order a side of it, separately. They were out, though. We came around 9:00PM on a Thursday night. — My friend doesn’t eat tomatoes, and asked if they could substitute the tomato half for something else. They offered to sub it for another grilled pepper, which he accepted. I thought this was very nice of the restaurant to do. — The kabob itself was tasty and juicy, but could have been a better cut of beef in my opinion. Compared to the other places I have been trying in my Kabob Quest list, the kabob here tasted a bit harder and less tender. — The rice was fragrant and tasty… or at least the parts that had juice/sauce from the kabob on it. This surprised me, because it looked like plain rice. I found myself polishing off the rice that had any juice/sauce on it. — The plate comes with a piece of butter. Not sure what that’s for, but I put some of it onto the kabob, which melted and made the kabob taste pretty good. Overall, the dining experience was enjoyable and I appreciated the store’s later closing hour(10PM) for a Thursday. If I come back here, I think I would be inclined to try their other menu items instead of the shish kabob plate.

Wow!!! Just wow. I haven’t had persian food that was this delicious. The giant burger with mushrooms was made to perfection. Every aspect, starting from the season of the meat to the custom made buns, everything was just perfect. I can’t wait to take my friends to check this place out.
