I wanted to ask about some product to make sure they had it in, called them 5 time and they hung up on me 4 out of 5 times after I said hello. Then the fifth time I called they didn’t even answer. Horrible customer service

I got help from Xavier, very very helpful gentleman:) I was extremely satisfied with my purchases after asking him for advice on a fat burner and vitamins for women, thank you Xavier for helping me out and making my lunch worth the visit.

I like this place to come pick up a quick protein shake or protein bar on the go. It’s always clean and I always get acknowledged when I come in. They have your health and fitness products

I bought GNC-​branded creatine supplements which were labeled «Creatine 3500 — 120 capsules». 120 capsules of 3500mg creatine, right?
Wrong. 3500mg is the DOSE, requiring you to take 5 700mg capsules. This 24 dose bottle cost $ 20, or 70% more per mg than nearby Full O’ Life.
Rip. Off.

They only try to sell the products they have commission on. Shopping online is waaay better.

Great selection but staff is less then helpful. While I expect that the staff would be knowledgable, I think the staff needs to learn to listen. Customer Service fail this evening.

I am a gym rat and for my supplements i definitely come to GNC burbank location because they always hook me up with the best supplements at the best prices, they always let me try products before i go and spend a bunch of money on them! if you’re a gym rat you know supplements are not cheap! Kamran always helps me find the stuff i need! i drive all the way from encino to go to this location.

Mohammed was so helpful! I was the only one in the store, which can sometimes make things awkward, but not with Mohammed. He volunteered to show me the different protein powders they had in stock, explained each one clearly and competently, and then backed off so I could browse in peace. Such a nice feeling not to have someone breathing down your neck trying to make a sale. Quick and easy, like all shopping should be.

Real friendly staff and larger selection than the North Hollywood location. I had to come here after going to the NoHo store and them being out of what i was looking for. They called over to this location and had them hold a bottle of my preworkout supplement. I also had a GNC coupon but for some reason the computer didnt accept it, so the employee that was helping me just entered another discount for me in the same amount. Real cool of him to do that.
Just getting here and parking at the Empire Center is a major pain in the ass. But once you are inside you will find it well stocked and the employees are very happy to help and go over your needs.

just visited today and left so upset that I had to write this review. FIrst problem: I was told merchandise had come in when I called over the phone, only to go in and find it was not in. Then the clerk– who was very unhelpful– asked me what I was expecting several times– I pointed out the exact merchandise that i was asking for and still he continued to ask questions about the product as if he couldnt see it right in front of his face. He was very matter-​of-​fact, unfriendly and just plain rude. I unfortunately had to make a purchase here anyway simply because I bought a Groupon for this exact location, so I tried to make the best of it get some merchandise and leave. Then he gave me tremendous trouble with the groupon– claimed it may be expired, said he didnt know what numbers to put it. and kept blaming me for not knowing how to use the Groupon!!! Even though the Groupon clearly stated the numbers to enter and the date of expiration which is still 30 days away!
I asked this clerks name and he had the nerve to LIE to me after all that. He took five seconds to answer me when I asked what his name was! He said his name was J, but on my receipt employee name and info says #786 and MH next to consultant.
I highly recommend not going to this GNC for your healthcare needs. ANy where else would have been bending over backwards to make sure their customers get the healthcare they require. Boo to them:(

2.5. Last visit, the sole clerk spoke in Italian on the phone during most of my visit, not even stopping to ring up my items, and only when I interrupted him to ask if they carried Blessed Thistle (they don’t). Unlike the last clerk I spoke to here, who was extremely helpful. Hit or miss.
