Was down in Burbank and looking for a Mediterranean restaurant that was close by our hotel. Saw good reviews and took the family. We went for a Sunday night dinner and was not disappointed. The service was extremely attentive. The manager even came out to see how our meal was. I had the chicken gyro(never had one before), other folks in our party had the mixed beef/lamb gyro, and the lamb kabobs. Everyone said their food was tasty and delicious. I would definitely go back. Thank you Mr. Kabob for a great meal.

A few doctors and I decided to give a shot. Speaking for four of us, we will definitely come back. Both the food and the service were terrific. Specially my waitress who was patient, kind and attentive. Wish I asked for her name.

THISISNOTWHATGREEKOR Middle Eastern food taste like! I I should know, I was born in the Middle East This is fake middle Eastern food for TOURISTS The meat is completely tasteless! Are you kidding me calling this kabob? The name of the store is Mr kabob? ! There is no seasoning whatsoever on the meat hardly there’s no barbecue taste no kabob taste, nothing I had tried this place ten years ago and I wasn’t impressed and I thought I would give it another try. Well nothing has changed! The rice isn’t good either. we tried three types of meat and all three sucked Don’t waste your money! Tip to management: Try shawerma taste in zankou and compare your taste. That is what real shawerma tastes like. Try Massis kabob in the mall at least it has some grilled seasoned taste. Try koko’s in van Nuys for the best taste

Was good food. They are polite and friendly. Nice place to sit down and eat. I had the combo plate. You can sit inside or out side in the patio. They got good music and movies play. Will come here again

Always wanted to try this place and finally I did. The food is very tasty and excellent service. Once you try the food you know they have lots of experience in the food business. The inside is really cool looking with tvs and good music to unwind during lunch.

I thought my dinner was okay, but i was expecting much better. I originally wanted to check out another place, but my friend seems to like the food here. I had the Chicken Soltani, which comes with chicken, rice, salad, and grilled veggies. The chicken was decent, veggies could have been grilled longer, the rice with some seasoning, and salad with a little dressing. It was all mostly flavorless. I don’t know what it all needed… I’m guessing a lot of salt to start off with. We were one of 3 parties dining here, so it was pretty slow on this Wednesday evening. After being seated the waiter brought over waters, and took our order. Friendly guy. I thought the service was great. I wish the food was a great as the service. Free parking at the structure just across the way. Very convenient.

A friend who’s a regular brought me here for lunch. I am glad she did because I really enjoyed it. As soon as we entered, we were greeted warmly and ushered to be seated. The place is modestly decorated with Mediterranean theme to compliment the menu they offer. My friend ordered a chicken kabob plate while I ordered a luleh plate. Both came with two skewers of meat, with basmati rice, side salad, roasted tomatoes and onion. We were also served with warm pita bread, minus the hummus which you can buy extra. All of these at an affordable price of $ 10. Best thing of all, food was amazing and very tasty. Salad is made of the freshest vegetables with light dressing on it which I believe is lemon and olive oil. Meat is very juicy and I could tell that the meat was never frozen before. The tomato is plump and juicy while roasted onion is sweet. Rice was cooked the way I wanted, not soggy nor dry. The receipt was handed to us with a 25% discount coupon before leaving so I will definitely come back along with my Unilocal Free Hummus or Beverage. See you soon.

ok, so I fell for the hummus! so fresh and tasty! was really delicious, liked the kalamata olive that was topped right on top of it with some paprika. I ordered the chicken pita, greek salad, obviously the hummus and the gyro plate/platter. honestly the food is not bad at all, everything had flavor, not too salty or salty at all for that matter. However, the service was horrible. ordered out delivery took almost 2 hours, I just find that almost inconsiderate especially when someone is starving. I thought I WASGOINGTOKILLMYBOYFRIEND(and yes you don’t mess with someone and their hunger, ive seen people go ape sh***) I think perhaps, you should have more then one/two delivery drivers if you know your weekends are the most busiest. That is why this place is getting three stars from me and because I need to taste more things on the menu to see if I really really like it.

GREATSPOT :) Amazing food prepared by very friendly staff. My boyfriend and I went there for my birthday while cruising online for some Mediterranean cuisine spots, and we definitely found our new go-to. We relaxed outside on the patio and were checked on by the very friendly waitress who went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of. For our meal, we got the chicken gyro and a veggie platter. Everything was cooked to perfection and we have nothing bad to say about the quality of our lunch. Afterwards, the owner came out and introduced himself to us. My boyfriend says quite fondly that his restaurant represents the ‘American Dream’ as you can tell he has put everything he has into it, and you see his passion from a mile away! Thank you to all the staff at Mr. Kabob — we will be back… :)

Stopped by on our way to Orange County, and were pleasantly surprised with excellent service… The owner, Kaz, kept coming by to check on us and update us on our order, that didn’t take too long to come out anyway. We each ordered a Sultani Beef plate. The filet mignon is good and their food is clean. Highly recommend, thanks to Kaz

GRABANDGO! Mr. Kabob, Although I am not a resident of Burbank, I have, and continue to spend quite a bit of time in the downtown area, running errands, hanging out with friends, and of course, eating. Walking through the Palm Ave corridor, I have always been overwhelmed with the succulent scent wafting in the wind swirling through the corridor and pinging off the walls of the adjacent structures. Recently, all the stars were aligned, I was hungry, I had the time and opportunity to stop by and pick up a to-go order to share with a friend while waiting in line to see the movie at the movie theater down the way. I was greeted at the doorway and offered a table. Unfortunately, I couldn’t stay, this time. I was handed a menu and took a seat outside. Your menu is full of so many fantastic options I couldn’t decide, so, I entrusted the decision to my friend. ORDERED: Chicken Kabob-Served with rice, salad, roasted tomatoes, and pita bread and with Unilocal check-in, free humus and pita. Would you like to know what we thought of our meal? Well, I’ll tell you, friend and I didn’t talk much once we opened the to-go box, we were too busy battling each other for the next morsel. The ground chicken was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. I’m not a fan of tomatoes, nothing personal goes back to my childhood, so friend had the pleasure of eating the whole thing and really enjoyed it. Soft and flaky rice, complimented the meal very well. Thank you Mr. Kabob for using fresh ingredients, your Mediterranean food is definitely irritable. Clearly your 49 years of experience cooking Mediterranean Food and traveling the world learning the techniques and precision most definitely culminated Mr. Kabob. KEEPITUP, ANDSEEYOUSOON, MR. KABOB! P. S. readers and eaters, 1 free appetizer or beverage with Unilocal check-in, another offer is free humus & $ 1 beer with entrée, dine in only. Mr. Kabob caters party of all sizes. From small gatherings to corporate parties. Sign up to their email list and automatically get $ 10OFF your dine in meal!

Best Greek food I’ve ever tasted in my entire life! My friend and I came here randomly today and saw this place on Unilocal. We were impressed! The owner and the waitress were very nice and welcoming. The owner offered us to try some hummus and his signature sauce, which was fabulous by the way! He truly cares about his business, customer satisfaction and the quality of his food. More owners need to be like him! My friend got the Greek salad and she loved it! I got the beef luleh kabob wrap and was amazed! The portions are huge and the quality of the food is excellent! Will definitely be coming here again at least once a week! Would definitely recommend!

Not a bad place, but they have some work to do. With entrenched competition down the block, they need to make sure they get the food spot on and offer a good value to their client base. There is a 25% off coupon floating around and I didn’t have it. When I asked if they could make an exception, I was told that there was no coupon :(. Considering my check was almost $ 40, 25% would have made me very happy. Overall, the food was overly salted from the rice to the meat. While I ordered the Shawerma, what I received wasn’t really accurate. It was sauteed chunks of meat, not the shaved rotisserie that we see in most shops. Unless I’m mistaken, this is the incorrect way to make this item. They need to offer some lunch pricing or at least relax their prices a bit. You don’t get a lot of food for your money. I felt myself feeling hungry after I finished my plate of food. I really did like the guys in the shop though. They’re very friendly and even offered me some water while I was waiting for my order to complete. Unfortunately, the wait for the food was a bit long.

Not to be harsh or anything, but even if this restaurant was located next door to where I live, I would never eat there again… Sure the food was OK, but it didn’t blow me out of the water, and the service was… Quite discombobulated. I Went to Burbank for a show at Flappers(only realizing we could have ordered what looked like delicious food there, when we got there), and wanted to grab a QUICKBITE. We wandered around aimlessly because we couldn’t figure out what our appetites wanted. Finally we decided to go for Mediterranean food and honestly, I wish we went… ANYWHEREELSE. The establishment was pretty run down, but there were Mediterranean accents that made me feel like the place was trying to hard. We were seated after telling the waitstaff that we were just going to eat in, and it took at least 15 minutes for someone to come over and take our order… I had to pee as well, which did NOTHELP! Finally I could pee(had to order first since my orders are typically always screwed up)… And the bathroom was gross. I really hate shared restrooms where there is a urinal in it, especially when it’s BROKEN and there is pee lingering in it. So appetizing. When I returned to the table, it took another 15 – 20 minutes for our food to arrive and when it did, I was LESSTHANIMPRESSED. I ordered chicken shawarma, double salad(no cheese or dressing)… No rice, and what I got were tiny hunks of yellow chicken, with a small side salad, topped with cheese. My companion got a gyro sandwich, which was less $ but looked far larger than my microscopic meal. I had them take it back to give me another salad and when it returned… And I started eating, I could tell they messed up my order prior to it coming out the first time because there were bits of rice on the chicken… As for the taste, it was OK but nothing to ride home about… And it needed a TON of salt! Manfriend actually really enjoyed the piece of chicken I shared with him(you know I’m not a huge fan of I’m sharing), his face even lit up like a Christmas tree. How’d he like his gyro… He wasn’t impressed. He thought it was pretty lackluster at best. As we paid, at the counter, which was quite confusing since we DINEDIN… I noticed there were chicken gyros on the menu and got super bummed… If we didn’t have to be somewhere, I would have given this place another chance by ordering that plate… However, I have a slight feeling that the plate presented to me would probably just be hunks of yellow meat again as opposed to what GYROS really are(just like the«shawarma».
