I took my car in because I was smelling a burning smell.
Dustin greeted me at desk and was very professional, friendly, helpful, even a bit funny (answering my girl car questions) He made sure I had coffee and remote to watch TV. I was even happier when he informed me there was WIFI. Dustin rocks!
After diagnostic came back I found out I had two leaks. Kyle then informed me he could get done right away. Since it was going to take a few hours I decided to come back and get car end of the day.
Then Jesse called with bad news that I had to replace a caliper and bearing. He was very informative and understanding when I started to get a little upset.
What I did not know is they had already called Enterprise and had loaner car being dropped off at no charge to me. I was shocked.
Dustin called me the next morning to update me on progress. He asked if I had any questions are concerns.
THANK YOU all the staff at Firestone on 1^st in Burien. My car all good and the customer service was above and beyond. I will highly recommend this store for any car needs. They gained a loyal customer out of me!

I would like to be clear that this is a review for A SPECIFIC LOCATION. I have had a long-​standing relationship with Firestone and have mostly had good experiences. But this was the first visit to the BURIEN location and … (a) I will not be back, and (b) I will seriously consider going to the competition in the future just on principle. Short version of what happened …
Gave my daughter a 1998 Saturn coupe for her 16^th birthday. A week or so later she came out to a slashed tire. She called AAA and, at my urging, they towed her to the Burien Firestone to get the tire replaced. While she was there, I spoke to the «Acting Manager» (the actual Manager was off at the time) and explained that this was her first visit to a repair facility, that it was important to me that it go well, and that they should take care of her like she was THEIR daughter. They didn’t! :(Despite having every opportunity to look at the other tires while she was there (which the Firestones I’ve gone to in the past ALWAYS do; even when I’m just there for an oil change), they just did the bare minimum, simply replacing the tire and sending her on her way. Roughly 10 miles down the road, another tire went flat because whoever had slashed her tire had actually slashed TWO tires; one just took longer to go flat. The slash itself was VERY NOTICEABLE (to someone who knows tires and isn’t a 16-​year-​old girl). THANK GOD the tire went flat in a parking lot and didn’t blow out on her when she was on the freeway or worse.
Despite my reservations, AAA towed the car back to the same Firestone and they sold her a SECOND new tire (which is fine). The next day I got a feedback survey, expressed my displeasure, and said that they were welcome to contact me to discuss the feedback. However, I made it VERY CLEAR in the feedback form that I could not receive calls during «office hours» and that they should EMAIL ME instead. Showing that he cares about his customers as much as the employees that put my daughter’s life in danger by sending her out on the road in a car with a clearly damaged tire, the manager of the store CALLED ME instead of emailing, left a message, didn’t try a 2^nd time, and NEVER emailed.
So now they get a poor review (I’d give them 0 stars if I could) and all of my family and friends have been advised to AVOID THE BURIEN FIRESTONE. In addition, I’ve applied for credit at 2 of their competitors and will be taking my business to those establishments for the foreseeable future. The Bellevue Firestone MIGHT get my business again at some point (because James and Bruce are awesome) but … (a) it won’t be anytime soon, and (b) the BURIEN location NEVER WILL. Period.

I recently had to have some diagnostic «stuff» done on my truck. I had taken it to another place and didn’t trust anything that was coming out of that mechanics mouth. I brought my truck to firestone in burien and had a diagnosis done on the issues. they were honest and spent the time to explain to me the issues. they didn’t treat me like a dumb girl. just a valued customer! I scheduled the work. They got it done and sent me safely on my way! Thank you to the entire crew at the firestone in burien!

Would not recommend this location to anyone… would not even take a weed eater to them they might reck it

I went there for a complete transmission service and take that transmission filter out n replace the fluid and oil change but when I got my car I asked the gentleman at the counter how was my transmission when they took the filter out and he said it was fine and when I got home what car was slipping like it never did before and I called back they said they just fluid exchange but I said I don’t want to exchange I want the whole service but The guy just hung up and and I try to call back and it was just rude to me so I’m not going back there again trying to figure out if I can go to another mechanic see what’s going on not very professional

BE WARNED! This place says one thing and does the opposite. Took car in for oil change and tire rotation. Picked up car 3 hours later after they called to say it was done. Checked my tires and they clearly hadn’t been rotated– ALL WERE IN THE SAME LOCATION. Walked back in and asked the service advisor Kyle if they’d rotated the tires and checked the brakes and he looked over the service ticket and said «yes, we sure did». When I let him know I’d marked the tires and that the marks were still in the same place he said it must be a technician issue and that they probably didn’t rotate them due to a sizing difference. Complete BS because the tires are all the same size AND their paperwork clearly showed they rotated AND CHARGED me for rotating and also showed they inspected the brakes. This place is crooked and I will NEVER BE
GOING BACK HERE. BE WARNED! I’d give zero stars if that was possible.

Christmas eve I got a flat. It’s 4 pm and everyone was closed or booked. The manager squeezed me in and didn’t charge me! Merry Christmas indeed!

Went here to get my tire patched. They didn’t seem that busy but took over an hour!
The nice thing is they have a TV to keep you entertained, and coffee if it is earlier in the day (I came an hour before closing so there wasn’t any coffee).
The nice thing was they didn’t charge me for the fix since it took so long which was nice of them.

The other reviews are In line with the experience I had here. Had major engine issues, I brought the car in. They diagnosed it as one thing, but it turned out to be another. We chose not to perform work on the car at this firestone. They wanted to charge over $ 1,000 for «labor hours» even though they did no actual work on the car.
Con-​artists … Stay away.

I brought my car in to be serviced for an oil leak. $ 40 parts and $ 99 labor, seems fair… right? Wrong. I was told the work would take 3 hours over the phone but my car was ready to go in an hour after being dropped off. Interesting.
P/​U car and brought it home-​after parking my car in the garage I noticed it was still leaking oil took it back to the shop where they assured me it was just excess oil from the first leak. Meaning they never cleaned my car up and wiped up the oil the first time. This took 2 hours.
P/​U car and brought it home-​Back at home and noticed my car leaking oil-​made another trip where they explained its still leaking oil because the parts were bent, *here they confessed that although i paid $ 40 for parts they never actually used the new part in my car, instead they sealed the same pan. I arrived at 2:47pm and had to sit there all day while they fixed it 7:15pm. This is due to the fact that they must let the seal dry before driving (something i never had to do the first time, no wonder they never fixed the issue). Took my car home to find the next day that it was still leaking oil.
Demanded a refund and will never return to this place ever again.

They sound nice talking to you to solve your problem but very poor service skills. I usually change my car oil n tire rotation but I always end up making sure the bolts to my tires are fix well. they always forget to tighten it and other issues. one time i took their mess to discount tires close to fred mayers to fix it free. will not recommend to any friends

I’ve been going to Firestone for years, splitting services between Tukwila and the Burien location depending on how I want to burn the time while my car is being serviced. In the past I’ve always received good service and customer care. That all came to an end this week.
On Weds evening I dropped my car off for an oil change. 30 mins later I received a call that the oil pan bolt broke and that they were going to replace the oil plan but would not be getting the part in today and would be providing me with a rental and that they could bring me the rental etc., the gentleman I spoke to apologized and stated they wanted to make this as inconvenient as possible etc. I picked my car up Thursday as the part was not in but they assured me that the bolt they used to secure the oil pan was good.
I had not received a call back Friday or by Sat morning so I finally called Sat afternoon to see if the part came in. Apparently in came in Friday and I should have known. I was quite civil during all of this even though it was a huge inconvenience being that I had to pack my 2 kids Weds to take them to the rental place where it was at least 30 mins to get me out the door plus the annoyance of being upsold for insurance and what not all why my baby needs to get to sleep and is crying in her carseat. Then the following day I left early to return the car as it was my babies 1^st birthday and I had family coming for dinner and cake that I still needed to pick up and prepare.
After all was finally taken care of after dropping it off Sat afternoon at 130pm and not getting it back until 530 (I drove by at 4pm and my car was still on the lift when this service was suppose to only take 1 and half hours). I got my car and then they had the audacity to charge me. Of all the things up to this point I was not upset, I understand that these things can happen, I was trying to be patient but then they still wanted to charge me the $ 24 for the oil change. I understand that this is regular maintenance but what about the time I was inconvenienced with the back and forth, the unexpected sleepover of my car and the 4+ hours I was without my car on Sat, Seriously???
They said it was Tukwila Firestone’s fault and made some comment about billing them after I was upset about being charged. But at the end I payed the $ 24 as they thought it was the right thing? Really?
Firestone is 1 brand from a customer stand point, I don’t care if you have to spend your time calling whomever so that from a business view you get your fee, but I should not have been charged because you guys didn’t think you were at fault.
Keep in mind this is right after I was quoted $ 700 for tires for another vehicle that I had all intentions of bringing in the next week.
So for $ 24 they have lost a customer for life because they wanted to play the blame game with another store that represents the same Brand. On their website they even promote One Team, One Planet– I guess not when it comes to their customers. I’m truly disappointed as this could have been easily avoided with a simple gesture of compensation. And they are not only losing my years of future service but potentially those that see this disappointing review and are deterred from using their services as well as my 5 vehicles that I bring there, my immediate family that know of this issue and anyone that I may speak to about this experience.

Although sometimes I have to wait in line, I keep coming back for service. The customer service is good and they deliver what they promise, also have good coupons on line. I needed tires and they told me to wait for the sale, which I greatly appreciated. Even better they never try to sell me services I don’t need!

If it was possible to give zero stars I would. My car died late Saturday afternoon (9÷7÷13) and I had to have it towed to a service center. At that time it was obvious to myself, my husband and the tow truck driver that the issue with the car was that the alternator needed to be replaced.
My car was towed to Firestone (15 324 1^st Ave S, Seattle WA) and we arrived about 5:30pm on Saturday evening. The man at the front desk was very helpful (although did not seem to know anything about the make and model of my car as he tried to convince me the problem must be a belt issue). He said he would contact me at 10am the next day. At that time we were very pleased that Firestone was open on Sunday and that the man seemed confident it would get done the next day. By 1pm on Sunday we had not heard anything, so we called. They stated that they had been trying to get the key out of the ignition all day but couldn’t, also that they could not find where our battery was… the battery in a 2006 Chevy Cobalt is in the trunk, something I would think an experienced mechanic would know. They told us then it would not be done until Monday.
On Monday, I again had not heard from them by 1pm so I called. They told me again that they were unable to get the key out of the ignition (I have NEVER EVER had this problem) so had spent all day doing that because, as the mechanic said, «I couldn’t open the truck without the key». I asked «why couldn’t you just use the truck pop?» The mechanics answer was that he couldn’t find it. At that time, he asked if he could have another day to work on it. I told him that was unacceptable, he said he agreed and he would have it done by 5pm. It was not done till 6pm.
They had my car for 48hours to simply put in a new battery & alternator… and they had all the parts in stock/​the area. In the end, I had to pay over $ 700.00 for this because the mechanic spend so much time «trying to get the key out of the ignition» and was NOT given the 5% discount I was promised by Geico. I will NEVER take my car to Firestone again.

My husband and I have always gone to Firestone, but we’ve moved around from Firestone to Firestone. THIS one has always been my favorite! Even when we lived in Issaquah, I’d drive out to them. Now I live in Renton, and even though there is a Firestone about 2 minutes away (which I’ve gone to), I ALWAYS go to the Burien location.
You’ll get honest answers, friendly service, prompt service, and great follow up. My whole family goes to this location and everyone has always had a good experience. They’ll take wonderful care of your car.

I had a huge mess this morning that involved a rock roughly the size of a baby’s head and a tire. The nice people at Firestone in Burien saved my day. Roberto and Justine were AWESOME.
They let the air out of my tire, used a crowbar to wedge the rock out and then put air back in the tire — at no cost. They simply wouldn’t let me pay or tip them.
They did this all at a moments notice and with a smile on their faces. I am so thrilled with the work that they did — that they have earned the right to all my future tire needs.
I simply can’t say enough good things about the service and quality that I experienced at the Burien Firestone.
