Satisfied customer! I’ve gotten my brakes and oil change done by these guys, they do a great job. Came in recently because of an oil leak. They gave me a fair rate and got it fixed on schedule. This is the place to go!

I’m still completely happy with their detailing work — same blue car as last year, same dirty mess made all sparkling clean! This time they had their detailing service set up at a new location (9601 Renton Ave S in Seattle), but the same great staff and solid customer service is there.

My family went here and gave them a lot of business. But they charged our credit card twice. So basically taking an extra $ 700 from us and won’t return it. Even when we showed our bank statement showing we were charged twice. What a fraud and so shady!

Nothing but good things to say about this place. Very pleased with all work which has been done on my 2000 Beetle VW. Reasonable prices and a LOANER CAR too, what else can I ask for?!!

I’ve taken my 2007 BMW here three times and each time they not only fixed the problem, but they’ve done it quickly and with a great attitude. I’ve been really pleased.

NW Import Auto is amazing. My car had been stolen and, oddly enough, returned again and it was a complete mess. NW Import got me up and running again in no time and for a reasonable price, and educated me about my car in the process. As a woman, I’m always wary of auto repair shops since so many of them think that they can just fleece you, but NW Import didn’t try to pull anything on me and made sure that I understood everything that I was getting and why. My car has been running great ever since! I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Location by the bus station is a super convenient plus.

I get all my cars service from these guys. I got three personal family cars and 4 trucks in my landscape fleet! Nam and Erickson are the best. Everything from the smallest job to biggest ticket items. I am totally aware of what my needs are because they look out for my interest in order to keep cost down for my business and myself. Love those guys at NW Import.

Stellar service by a very competent group of mechanics! I needed my 1990 Jeep Wrangler clutch replaced. I called and set up an appointment and it was done in exactly 2 days as quoted on the phone and the price was a whole lot better than the dealership could ever come close! I am a very pleased customer and I will bring any mechanical problem I can’t solve myself to them!

I heard about NW Import Auto from a friend who had used their services post-​playa (think extremely fine alkaline dust in every single nook and cranny of one’s car, potentially eating away at whatever it touches). They did a fantastic job scrubbing my car and I have yet to see even a speck of dust anywhere all for $ 150 including a $ 20 off coupon from their website. This included the undercarriage and the engine compartment. All of it is sparkling. They also changed my oil at my request at the going rate ($ 60 for synthetic), and so far no problems with that.
There was a misunderstanding on the phone (due to a new employee) which led me to believe that I would be given a loaner during the detailing which is not their policy. In order to accommodate my needs they gave me a ride to a friend’s house so I wouldn’t have to wait at their shop. This was likely only because I thought I would have a loaner and planned accordingly, so this should not be an expectation for others. This showed their dedication to excellent customer service.

My window regulator failed a couple days ago so I’ve been driving around and parking with an open driver’s window; not a good feeling. This morning was the first chance I had to get the repair done and Eric told me to come in right away. Less than an hour later, the regulator was replaced for $ 300 less than any other shop would charge.
NW Import Auto Service has been taking care of my BMW’s for years and I have never received anything less than the best service, prices, and advice. I can’t recommend NW Import enough. Awesome shop!

I thought I had a good mechanic… I thought wrong.
I took my car in a few times and I thought it was repaired.
This last time I took it in because of an oil leak. First they told me it was the valve cover gasket. Then it was the cam chain tensioner gasket. Then they called me and said I would have to change the camchain tensioner because it had a crack on it and that was causing the oil leak. The estimate went from $ 250 to $ 320 to $ 850 over 4 days they had my car… after telling me the issue they’d call me back the next day with a new story
I thought something was weird so I denied the work last minute.
I decided to do the work myself. I found it was just the camchain tensioner gasket set that needed replacing. The tensioner itself was perfect and had no crack and was working properly. They totally lied to me trying to make an extra $ 500 on something I didn’t need.
When I took things apart I noticed things from a previous job I had them do that we’re not right. At one point recently I had a coolant leak and the system had various pieces changed. I noticed one piece wasn’t switched but instead they decided to cover it in epoxy. If I paid for something… why did I get something else?
Something is really wrong here.
They were always really nice, but I guess most cons are too.
Deception lies at the heart of this place. Sad… I thought I had a good mechanic finally. I was totally wrong.

I have been taking my 85 volvo here for about 5 years now and I have never been disappointed! Nam, Erikson and the guys are all super professional and do quality work for very reasonable prices! They are extremely accommodating, even offering loaner cars when it looks like the repair could take a day or two! These guys are very trustworthy, never going over the price they initially quoted me– I’ve been to several mechanics in my car-​owning history and I can tell you, now that I’ve found Northwest Import, I will NEVER and I mean NEVER go anywhere else! NEVER! (ever.)
