Normally we love smashburger and we visit this location often as its near the office and all the guys love their burgers and fries. Today we walked in and all the tables were dirty, before we could even order a lady behind the counter tells us that they are about 20 minutes behind on orders and then walks away and disappears. We decided to order and go ahead and wait because it’s pouring outside. We then stood there for 10 minutes waiting to order with a guy making shakes behind the counter and the other lady no where in sight. Needless to say, we left and won’t be returning. The place was dirty, service was poor, and we’re disappointed. If you want a good burger and fries similar to smashburger, drive a couple minutes and go to Mooyah Burgers.

So yummy! This is one of our favorite spots, plus they show huge support for military and offer a generous military discount. The black bean burger is my favorite!

They make the best black bean burger around. It’s a real treat for someone who can’t eat red meat. It’s always prepared perfectly. The milkshakes and fried pickles are a naughty indulgence. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Service is on point.

Food is really really good, just really greasy, but what else could you expect out of a burger?

Fast food normally is only ok. Smashburger is really good, and that surprises me. Cheeseburgers were really good. I like the buffalo fries, but not skinny. It’s like eating matchsticks. Restaurant is kind of small. Oh well, it’s some good food so we’ll be back.

Not happy about the shake situation! See tip and photo… I love the Truffle Mushroom Swiss and the Avocado Burger. Smashfries are fantastic. The place is always clean and the service is friendly and prompt. But what they advertise as a «Hand-Spun Shake» and what they put in your cup are miles apart! I’m absolutely pissed about this and my wife, for whom I purchased said«shake», actually wanted me to take it back and get a refund. The girl at the counter that made the shake said«that’s just how they do it… they are pre-portioned»…whatever! My last trip to Smashburger!

I really wanted this to be better!!! So twice this week I have tried the exact same sandwich. my first time here was tuesday I ordered the chicken, spinach, cucumber and goat cheese. both my daughter and I ordered this only difference I asked for toasted gluten free bun and avocado. So they were out of spinach we were ok with that. Get home… missing cucumbers and just wasn’t complete. seemed lacking the vinaigrette there was some just not a ton. So we go give it another try today. I REALLY want to like this place… we stood out front for 10 minutes we hike everyone was in the back chatting. Finally after trying to get their attention the cook saw me and sent out the cashier. She seemed flustered as if shes never run the register before. She forgot my onion straws but at least got the order right just took awhile. Well off we go again get home ready to have a great smashchicken and NOPE… this time no toasted bun… no vinaigrette on either so salty we had to throw away… mine was missing cucumbers but had one tiny avacado slice my daughter had two cucumbers why is it that you cant get this order right? VERYDISAPPOINTED

i always wanted to try this place but there isn’t any where I currently live so when I saw one that was open nearby I just had to give it a try. Overall, they make a really good burger. Burgers are made to order so they are very fresh. The smashing technique that they use does enhance the flavor of the burger and I applaud them for doing it. They have some really good sides to go along with your burger. I am glad I found this place.

Ordered the avocado burger with spicy buffalo fries. Both tasted fresh and were pretty yummy. Hubby had the BIG smash burger and was in love. He said that it was one of the best burgers he had tasted in a long time. He ordered the smash fries and wasn’t crazy about them. I think it was the Rosemary that tasted funny. Overall, we will return. Not only was it tasty but it was affordable.

I’m never disappointed with Smash Burger. My burger was cooked perfectly, my haystack onions were amazing and the tea was fresh. I’ll be back and I’ll recommend it to others.

Stopped by because we wanted a fast dinner. Our first experience was Blah but this time it was fresh and crispy rosemary fries with the jalapeño bahama burger. Enjoyed it very much.

I’ve been to quite a few smash burgers in a few different regions, and this one stacks up against the best of them. The food is great. I love the rosemary that they put on the smash fries, and my wife loves the sweet potato fries. I’ve tried all but one of the burgers on the menu so far, and I’ve always walked away with a huge smile on my face. I don’t think you can get better tasting beef at this price anywhere! This particular location also has exceptional customer service. If they aren’t packed you almost feel like you are in a regular sit down joint because the employees will come around and offer refills or bring ketchup etc. A lot more customer service than you would expect from a burger joint where you order from the counter. I can’t wait to get back!

#1. I LOVE burgers. I have eaten burgers around the world and they are definitely one of my favorite foods. I have a standard I compare all burgers too, Jersey Freeze in Freehold, NJ; to me they are the best burgers ever; these are second by a small margin and leaps and bounds over third place. And for a chain to offer this quality and flavor, I am sold. Now I look for taste and texture and I, as we all do, have my own opinions, but in my mind, for my money Smashburger will continue to get my business. Also, I saw other comments about it being expensive for a burger and $ 3 beers etc; really? it’s a $ 6 burger. I had the reg fries; I am not a fry guy; that being said I prefer 5 guys fries, but hands down the burger is where it’s at for me! I have only been there once so far but I will def return and if their quality is consistent I will leave my 5 star rating; If my first time was a fluke I will amend my review.

SmashBurger is great. I love the mushroom swiss burger here. The patty has so much flavor. The buns are always soft and tasty. The smash fries, haystack onions, sweet potato fries, and fried jalepenos are all good. I always have a hard time deciding which one to pair with my burger.

I have reviewed Smashburger before but this is a new one it Burleson, TX across from the H.E.B. I had the BBQ bacon burger very good the haystack onion rings with dipping sauce is wonderful. The price is a little high but that is about normal for specialty burger joints. I get the smaller of the two choice burgers which is plenty big enough. I have had almost all the burger types you cannot go wrong with any of them.

There is not a better chain burger on the planet. And don’t you In-N-Out weirdos argue with me on this. Five Guys, we can have something on the side(xoxo). Mighty Fine, you’re great but you need to step up your fry game(welcome to the friend zone). Classic with no pickles and a side of fried jalapenos please! The name must mean they smash a stick of crack-laced butter into every patty, because the burgers are impossibly good. Fun sidenote: I constantly get internal Smashburger emails because someone in their training department has my exact name and a very similar email address. I know someone on the inside, is what I’m saying.

Pretty tasty stuff. Opting for the chicken, avocado, and hopefully somewhat good for me sandwich landed me something half as heart attack providing as a ½ pound bacon cheeseburger. Choco shake was pretty lame. Staff was very nice.

I enjoy dining at Smashburger and appreciate the fact that(a) they have sweet potato fries! and(b) I can add a fried egg to my burger. I don’t know that I agree with their concept of «smashing the burger on the grill makes it taste better,» because I have had burgers with better tasting meat, but I do love the buns they use there(very soft, good flavor). Smashburger should consider adding combo meal options, instead of everything being a la carte; however, it does not detract from a pleasant dining experience. The people are incredibly friendly and helpful; every time I’ve dined there the manager on duty makes sure to stop by and ask about our experience.

Service — 3 Stars Food — 4 Stars Egg Batter Buns — 4 Stars Here’s a burning question, «Does America need another fast-food burger joint, and if so, does it need a Smashburger?» So, what’s unique about this place? For one, it lets you build your own burger, pick your own bun, type of cheese, condiments, great!(Hold it, Mooyah does that, too.) We choose the Classic before we had a chance to study the menu. There was a line and I wanted to it keep it moving. 100% ground Angus beef patties. That’s not too unique, either.(By the way, does anyone use less than 100% or more than 100%?) American cheese melted into the lumpy meat patty, with pickles, lettuce, and tomato. Again, not too unique, otherwise it wouldn’t be called a Classic, would it? Here’s something unique. They SMASH the burgers onto the skillet and cook them at a high temperature to retain their juices and flavor. Sounds interesting. Does it make a difference? I thought the meat was very tasty. Cooked medium, though. Since no one asked me and I didn’t request it, I wonder if you can get it cooked to order or not? That would be a slight improvement. Definitely on the greasy side. Not too much grease, just enough for flavor. Very basic menu, two prices: 1⁄3 lb. $ 4.99, ½ lb. $ 5.99. Applewood bacon is $ 1.49 extra. Mushrooms $.99 extra. My wife was very happy about the smashfries and the rosemary, garlic and olive oil. I thought them unusual, even unique in my experience, but I would have preferred real fries. I can’t abide shoe string fries, either. They also offer sweet potato fries, but then who doesn’t, now-a-day? This is a fast food joint, though. There is no Dining Experience in these crowded quarters. McDonald’s has nicer décor and anybody has more elbow room. We would come back for the good burgers. We really liked the egg buns on the burgers. A little sweet and buttery tasting. I was curious about the advertised chipotle bun, which I intend to try next time. Does America need another fast food burger joint? Maybe. As for us, we think Smashburger is a Smash hit!(har har)
