I’ve been very satisfied with this location of EWC. I always go to Angelia and she is fantastic. She makes you feel comfortable and is a great conversationalist. Everyone is very professional at this EWC and I appreciate the online scheduling of appointments.

Diana Was my waxer, I went about there times for brazilian, each time hoping it would be better but when you have to go home and finish the job it’s a little annoying. The first time I thought she did a mediocre job because I was her last appointment and I was getting half of the wax for free even though I tipped 18% of the full price but the next two times she also left bunch of hair and barely talked to me. super awkward. Also the wax was too hot I mentioned it to her and she ignored me. Overall the service at EWC is a 1 star. I have been waxing for ten years, I moved here from florida and haven’t been able to find a good waxer. They really need to focus in quality and not quantity. I bought the 12 appointment package but now I regret it, it seems like management and staff don’t take this serious, waxing is something so personal and delicate. Please management fix the problem! You already have horrible reviews in most locations !!!

Went there for my first time today. I won’t be going back. I got my brows and a Brazilian done. Which took all of 13 minutes. If you’ve ever been waxed before, then you know this is absurdly quick. Got home, and the waxer had missed ALOT of hair, so much so, I had to pluck for about 30 minutes. I’m not a super hairy person either.
I also had the standard, pushing of product. I had heard of the up-​selling before, but didn’t realize it was this bad.
Bummed cause it’s the only place I’ve been able to find that uses hard wax as opposed to strip, in the Bay Area.

Came in a couple weeks ago for my 3^rd Brazilian and this time was with Melissa. It was almost near closing, so she was super fast — maybe a littleeee bit rushed.
When I got home to inspect the area (lol), I noticed some hairs that could have been tweezed. This is a peeve of mine because my girlfriends go to other wax spas and rave about how their waxer tweezes off all the hairs that weren’t grabbed.
Now that I’ve been here a decent amount of times and had experiences with several different waxers, I think I’ll be making my appointments all with Vickie from now on. She’s been super meticulous, extremely nice, and gets the job smooth and done!

I was not satisfied with my waxing, when I told the receptionist she was not helpful. They were not friendly at all. Go somewhere to get a better service!!!

I never thought this would be me, but I have become an annoying customer that is constantly changing her appts. I’ve have had a very busy month and unfortunately have had to cancel and reschedule my appt a couple of times. the girls have never been rude to me about it. Their have amazing customer service. The waxing has always been a good experience. I’m a regular of Diana, she’s fast and always does an amazing job.

I love getting my waxing done by Melissa. She moved from the westlake shopping center to the one in Burlingame and of course i followed her. She always does a great job when i need my eyebrows done.

First time in your establishment just got waxed by Melissa loved her would highly recommend her to my friends and family and would come back to see her

APRIL is the BEST!!!
I have had such wonderful experiences every time i need my waxing done.
I have been doing it for two decades now and i never came upon anybody more experienced.
April is fast, knows what she is doing and very friendly.
The place is super clean and neat every time.
Ladies at the front desk are so attending and friendly.
I only make appointment with April now because she is a waxing super star!

Went in for the first time and saw they did full facial waxing. At many other places they become confused or unsure of the areas I point out. Not here! The entrance, hallway and rooms are stylish, calming, and clean. This is hands down the cleanest establishment I’ve ever been to that offers waxing services. The table they have you lay down on is comfortable and they even have the paper cover doctors use in their offices. The woman who did my face didn’t double dip and put gloves on (another huge plus!). The front receptionist was extremely welcoming and friendly. The waxing itself was pretty painless even on the sensitive areas. I will be making this my normal stop!

Can I just say. Zahia is amazing. She is profession and listen to me of how I want my eyebrows to be shaped. I felt really comfortable with her taking care of my eyebrows. The last place I went to didn’t understand my eyebrows, and it will take more session with Zahia to get my eyebrows where I want them to be. This was at the foster city location

DIANA IS THE BEST!!!
She’s very nice and always makes me feel so comfortable. Very thorough and always makes sure that every single hair is waxed! I only come in when she’s working (Cuz she’s that amazing).
PS. The ladies in the front desk are always so nice and helpful.

The Burlingame location of European wax center is always professional and clean. I’ve seen multiple waxers but my favorite by far is Ryanne. She’s such a sweetheart and makes the experience so much easier. Also, the ladies at the front desk are very welcoming and make sure that I am always taken care of. During my last visit, Julia was very helpful with checking me out and getting me set up for my next visit. Keep up the great customer service!
Ps. To the complainers below. It’s a business and they have a protocol to follow. EWC front desk girls definitely try to accommodate for any possible situation. Calm down.

Gets the job done. I had diana, she was nice and got me in and out. The front desk was also very accommodating since I was running late because of traffic, she was able to push my appointment back so I saw the same specialist.

I’ve been to other EWC before and always didn’t like how my eyebrows looked. They always looked uneven to me.
I really like Diana. She really worked with my eyebrows and gave it a shape that really looked sexy and sharp. Now I just need to clean it up from time to time.

I got my wax done here a few weeks ago and although my waxer was very quick (she did a Brazilian and my eyebrows in about 15 minutes), it was definitely more painful than normal and I felt like she was kind of rushing. She was nice enough, but I have had some better waxers in the past. This was my first time at Burlingame, but she said she also works at the Foster City location and I had never seen her at the Foster City location before. I think I’ll stick to the Foster City location with my original waxer, but I’ve heard that there are some other good waxers here, so try it out if you want!

I don’t know about this place. I have been to another location and wasn’t too impressed. I walked by this place at night and it sure looked fancy inside. I guess this place is better when it’s closed and being viewed from the outside.
My biggest gripe is with the constant desire to sell me something. Products Mr. Gonzales? No thanks. How about a wax package? The promotion ends tomorrow. Honey, I didn’t find this spot 15 minutes after they dropped me off from Kearney Nebraska!
The wax is supposed to be so much better for your skin than the other guys and maybe it is, but it lacks in this one major area. The part where it rips unwanted hair from your face! I know, I know. I am such a stickler.
I like the gal who waxed my man brows and if she finds herself at another spot, I may visit her again. This place just isn’t for me, despite numerous attempts to fit a square peg in a round hole.
Just a note to the sales gal who is gonna call me over and over again. I gave you a fake number. Elaine Benes taught me that trick way back when.

After my longtime wax girl at the Fremont center left the wax business, I decided to venture closer to my place and check out the local Burlingame EWC. It’s a new location, clean, and definitely seems less busy than the chaotic Fremont location.
After reading Unilocal reviews, I decided to make my bikini wax appointment with Diana. She was friendly and inviting, and made me feel at ease during my first time with her. She was also fairly quick and efficient — I was in and out in just under 20 minutes! I’ve officially found my new waxer!
