I enjoy the service, food quality, happy hour prices and comfort of the lounge. This is my fourth visit. This restaurant has provided consistent high quality service, fresh ingredients, flavorful options. The 100% Angus Swiss mushroom burger is delectable. Prepared to desired temperature with added bacon and avocado for a couple dollars. The buffalo wings are simple and tasty. This place is a bit hidden inside the Hilton far away in Burlingame. It’s a fun place to enjoy with friends. Wish the bacon would be thicker. Everything else is perfect.

No stars if I could. Called 3 times to main telephone number provided, and connection failed each time. First time, Mark picked up the phone, and I inquired about Easter Brunch. He just said, «Hold on please», and then got disconnected. Second time, Mark picked up the phone again, and I told him that the last call got disconnected. He again said, «Hold on please»(nothing else), and then the call got transferred to a Hotel reservation automated voicemail. After pressing a few options, I still couldn’t talk to someone live. Third time, I called, someone at front desk who didn’t mention his name over the phone transferred me again, after I explained to him what have happened. after ringing for like 2 minutes, someone picked up, and I asked if it was the restaurant, because I am calling to inquire about their Easter Brunch. The person said nothing, got transferred again, and then the phone kept on ringing again, and then someone picked up and hung up! Terrible.

I always rate hotel bars/restaurants different from other places. As a frequent business traveler, I’m looking for different things when I have to eat/drink at a hotel. Is the service good? Do they have a decent selection of choices? Can they execute cooking them? Do they have TV’s where I can watch sports? Are the bartenders knowledgeable enough about sports so they can find my game? In all of the aspects above, Fire/Vine delivers. Hotel restaurant/bar menus are usually limited, and I’m fine with that as long as there are selections of each category that can be prepared well. The clam chowder and daily soup options here are good, the appetizers feature crab cakes(very good) and chicken wings, there are sandwich and burger options(burgers are great), and some limited steak/seafood/poultry/pasta options as well. They also have a very good selection of beers on tap, some nice wine options, and of course all of the mixed drink choices anyone would want. Service is professional and friendly, the bartenders are great(especially Oscar). This place also scores points with me as they have multiple HD large screen TV’s and sports is the focus, especially if you are a SF Giant, GS Warrior, and SF49er fan. Bartenders know where to find the games. So if you are staying at the Hilton SF Airport Bayfront, staying right there to eat/drink/watch games in Fire/Vine is a good choice.

Delicious spicy bloody Mary. Highly recommend the crab cakes appetizer. Very chill atmosphere. Also, they have Crystal Head Vodka ready for your mixed drink. Top class.

When the ahi tuna sandwich tastes as plain as a rice cracker, that’s a bad sign, especially when that sandwich is $ 20. It always confuses me when restaurants can’t make decent basic things. Thankfully, my buddy and I split the sandwich and the ribs platter. But since he seemed to like the plain dry ahi more, I gave him my sandwich and ate his ribs. Tastes like Costco ribs but for twice the price. The only reason this review isn’t 2 stars is because for some odd treason their coleslaw was really good.

Nice remodel. But for a Hilton. not a HGI. Service was sub par. Drinks are measured pours to the T. Had to order a double to taste the Vodka. Paper napkins served with an appetizer.

Fire Vine Grill & Bar is a restaurant and bar located inside of the Hilton San Francisco Airport Bayfront hotel — a few minutes from SFO. I stopped in here one evening for a couple of brews — Pale 31 Pale Ale(Firestone-Walker Brewing Co., Paso Robles, CA) and some food. Ordered a cup of the San Francisco clam chowder and an order of the crab cakes. The chowder came out first. I requested black pepper and hot sauce. What I got was a standard pepper shaker and Tabasco sauce — which is disappointing. I’m not sure what is so hard about keeping a pepper mill around for freshly cracked black pepper — and I’d love to start seeing restaurants offer some more interesting hot sauce options — other than Tabasco and Cholulu sauces. Boring. The clam chowder was delicious. Nice brininess to it and very creamy. The crab cakes were not bad, but they needed a larger side of Aioli — what I received was a rather pal Nice modern bar and restaurant. Lots of large, flat panel HD TVs. Bartender was professional and attentive. Nice to place to hang and drink.

Service was great, but they didn’t honor the Unilocal discount for Easter brunch even though it was still showing up on the app. Thought 50 per person was too expensive for the brunch.

One word: disappointed. My family has been coming here for years since we were little. We always loved the Belgian waffle. The light, airy melt in your mouth waffle. That was not what we received today. Breakfast ends at 11am and I called in at 930am to preorder the famous waffles because we weren’t going to make it before breakfast ends. When my sister and I arrived, they started cooking the waffles and have us two glasses of orange juice. We were looking forward to this and waited quite a long time. Our server sets the plates down and I’m thinking to myself«these are NOT the waffles.» I added the butter and poured the syrup on. Gave it a taste and they were NOT the waffles :( We asked our server what happened and she said unfortunately the man who has the recipe to the epic waffles is no longer with the company. :(he took the recipe with him. I have no reason to ever come back.

Had a great dinner at Windows on the Bay — delicious food, attentive service, wonderful company. This is a high caliber restaurant and much better than what i expected for the hotel, as we know sometimes hotel restaurants are hit or miss, The mac and cheese was hands down the best I have had. I had the salmon entrée and there were other things I wanted to try. The bay views were pretty good — better views from other angles in the hotel but pretty good nonetheless. Great fireplace too. I can’t wait to come back and try other things on the menu. The restaurant also had free wifi which is great for business travellers having to work during a meal.

I came here for the Mother’s Day brunch this year with reservations at 12:30pm. The staff is beyond disorganized and understaffed for this event. They had 3 people seating over 200 people which was delayed. There were numerous groups of people getting upset at the late seating and yelling at the staff. I finally got seated at 12:50, 20 minutes after the event was supposed start. No one came around to offer us drinks for another 20 minutes. Seriously, serve a ton of salty food with no water to wash it down. Great. When we finally got some drinks we never saw them again for another 20 minutes. I watched one waiter walk around with 2 pitchers of orange juice serving people at random while spilling orange juice on the rug. I think the rug had more drinks than we did. No one came around to pick up the used plates and it continued to pile up until there were about 7 plates in a stack. I think the last straw was the bill. Thank you hilton for tacking on 22% gratuity for the horrible lack of service. Why you think you deserve 22% when the standard automatic gratuity normally ranges from 18%-20% I’ll never understand. Never again will I ever come back to such a lousy establishment.

I ordered the Halibut and was pretty disappointed how dry it was and the cream sauce wasn’t very tasty. I’d say even the rice it came with was the best part of the dish. Tried their 6oz filet and that was pretty good. Great service, but I don’t plan on coming back.

Was taken here today for lunch as a group. Our hostess insisted we try the Windows Waffle as an appetizer to share. The best waffle I’ve ever had Nice crunch on the outside and light as a cloud inside w/fresh strawberries and a dollop of cream. WOW. Then on to what has to be the most tender sandwich of my life. The prime rib French Dip. Like biting into butter. Seriously, something that tender is hard to find. $ 12.95 worth it! Others had gorgeous salads, fish & chips and a calamari/scallops appetizer. Their chef knows what he’s doing big time. They have a large selection of yummy sounding burgers but that’s just an excuse to go back!

This restaurant is located inside the Hilton San Francisco Airport Bayfront hotel. Had a wonderful Easter Brunch experience here. I checked in on Unilocal and received a deal($ 5 off on brunch for adults). Live music was provided(a man singing and playing guitar). The singer/musician brighten my day when he sang and played one of my favorites by Eric Clapton — «You look wonderful tonight.» The food preparation ranged from average to a notch above average. I enjoyed the smoked salmon, shrimp cocktail, salad & fruit bar, waffles, roasted veggies and rack of lamb. The oysters were average and some were not meaty. Parking structure provided.

We had their Easter buffet here today. For what it was, it was actually very good. I liked that is was small and not flooded with people. We usually go to the Garden Court in The Palace Hotel in San Francisco or similar large fancy buffets but my son was flying out at 1:30 so we wanted to be near the airport. And though the bigger venues have more food, there are way too many people on holidays stuffed in. Here they had all the basics. Omelets made to order, Belgium waffles, pancakes, sausage, smoked salmon, eggs Benedict with hollandaise sauce etc. The carving station had great prime rib. The shrimp were perfectly cooked, so good! I was surprised at how fresh the oysters were too. Usually at such buffets they have been opened too long just sitting there. These were so good. Lots of other food too, more than you could ever eat. Plus great salads including a fruit salad. YUM! My only negative was the lamb chops. They were delicious but too fatty. The service was amazingly good too. Constant but unobtrusive. I had so many orange juice refills. I asked for a different kind of tea, and within a minute it was there. My son wanted ketchup for his omelet and a new bottle was immediately brought. Used plates quickly taken away. All with big smiles from the plentiful staff. We would definitely come back here. I actually preferred it to the bigger, fancier places. And at a fraction of the cost too.

Food is just OK, nothing special. However, the service was poor at best. Drink and food order was wrong, had to ask for everything after flagging down the server, and the place was almost empty at 7:30 pm. Went there the first night staying at the Hilton, and never went back during the 6 days there.

The dining room was very elegant. The food was very good and prices were reasonable, but service was slow. The hotel front desk validates your parking ticket if you’re there to eat at the restaurant.

Just one drink here, my last drink for a long, long, long time — Personal reasons — and just when I was awarded Barfly Badge of Unilocal — aye.

Im not generally into hotel restaurants but sometimes you find some secrets hidden in plain sight. In the crazy hotel row that is outer Burlingame. Windows is surrounded by water. The views from the window seats are actually quite nice on the right day, and for the most part the place is never seemingly crowded. The food selection is kind of deranged as it’s all over the world map. Decent NY steak though since it’s in a hotel the prices are kinda high. The service is very nice and attentive. Perhaps a better place to just go get a drink and look out into the water. 3.5 stars

Review for Breakfast(not buffet) Waffle — perfect Coffee is a bit strong but nothing I cannot handle or make it into an Americano. Service — good Review for Dinner Salad — not pricy and food is good for the price

One comes here for the view by the bay, and you can see planes land and take off from SFO. — food: lobster ravioli, excellent! — fettuccines: alright… one comes here for the view, take a stroll by the waters before or after dinner.

They have the best waffles ever! Country waffles? IHOP? they are not even as half as good as the waffles here at the Windows On The Bay. outside of the waffles is delightfully crunchy while the inside is very soft. If im craving for some delicious waffles, i would go my way to this hotel to get the best waffles. oh yeah if you happen to be there at night and see that mario is working as a bartender, you have to ask for his mojito. the best!
