Wow horrible. Not there are many choices in the vicinity, but it’s still pretty bad. The steak was a bit dry and fatty. The chicken was dry as well layered with teriyaki sauce. The broccoli was steamed or cooked to the point of sogginess. There weren’t any other vegetables included. The fried rice wasn’t any better. The rice was overcooked and super soft, like it was re-heated.

Short and simple. As mentioned in previous reviews: CASHONLY. Ordered the steak and shrimp meal. They had old steak but had me wait while they made fresh steak to put out. That scored points in my book. Well worth the wait! Interestingly enough they also serve bottled beer here.

Considering that this is a food court my rating is actually very generous. I’ve eaten here several times and compared to other food places in the vicinity it’s a little better. Be sure to buy food when it’s busy that way you know that they just cooked it & hasn’t been warming over the stove for a couple of hours. Trust me you would know if it has; rice is dry, chow mein is oily & soggy, etc. The cheapest food item on the menu is their chicken bowl which is like $ 6. I know it’s a lot but this mall caters mostly to tourists who don’t know any better. Also, dont expect to get quality customer service, the times I’ve ordered food I’ve mostly been treated rudely especially by their male servers the females not so much just on rare occasions. Another con about this place is that they don’t take credit or debit cards, I mean you’d think that a place that doesn’t accept credit cards would be cheaper right? There is one good thing that I’d have to say about ichiban, they sell beer.

cash only *** My wife got the tempura shrimp with terryaki chicken. I ate the tempura and it was ok. I would order it. The chicken was the same, just ok. Nothing you would go out of your way for but would eat it because your at a food court

Well, I guess you can’t expect much from a food court stand… They were really nice, that’s for sure. They accommodated my unusual request — I asked for steamed veggies with curry sauce on it, no rice. This place is usually all about teriyaki or curry bowls, so you pretty much get a choice of chicken or steak, some veggies, and teriyaki or curry sauce. Or you can get udon, tempura, or California rolls(very generic fast food). When I asked for my unusual combination, they were very happy to do it, and only charged me for the veggies(not the sauce). I was eagerly looking forward to my food since the veggies were super bright green and orange, but when I finally dug into my food, the curry sauce was so watery, it was like eating curry flavored water, and the veggies were super hard(I think they were flash boiled). Nice people, food not so great(but again, this is food court food, so can’t expect much!!).
