I am totally guilty of visiting often, and not just because the staff is so nice, friendly and well groomed(nothing bugs me more than a server or host that looks like they rolled outta bed… the staff here are ALWAYSONPOINT and DONEUP) #CleanSTAFFcleanFOOD) .Everything is good but my personal fav is the gluten free penne with meat sauce & a pesto with pine nuts and pancetta pizza FML… Wish I could give you all 10 stars …

My most favorite restaurant to go to. I’m here almost every weekend with my mom. Everyone here is so friendly.

I’ve lately been on a salad kick, and the salads here are the best. And I’ve pretty much tried them all. You can’t go wrong coming here as their pastas are really good too. Been a very popular spot with my colleagues.

This was the second time visiting this restaurant, the first time was a good experience, the second not so much. Our waiter ‚(pony tail guy) never said a word to us and seemed to drag around the entire time we were there. The salad that we asked to split came in 2 soup bowls and was not at all the same ingredients that we had the first time we had this salad. The pizza was good but the waiter was so grouchy that Im not sure if we will go back a 3rd time!

We just moved to Calabasas and go here with our toddler. Everything we have eaten is awesome. The power green gluten free pizza is the bomb. Service is excellent we just love it. It’s our go to spot weekly.

I had to take time out after having a delivering that was on time and handed over with a smile . Then pop, comes out the food gluten free Hawaii style with hot red peppers, love spicy !! Then fresh Urgula salad with chunks of fresh Parmesan and tomatoes. Then had chicken parmigiana, which was VERY tasty and definitely fresh . Think that 3 stars come from a bunch of nick pickers that have nothing better to do.

Rosti’s is great for families. Our little one made friends with the waitress(Ginger) and the one of the chefs(Melvin.) Ginger is very knowledgeable about the food served at the restaurant– she introduced us to Rosti’s cauliflower, which is really delicious. Rosti’s kitchen is part of the dining room. Whenever we come in, Melvin plays peekaboo with our little one from the kitchen. Aside from playing peekaboo and enjoying the food, our little one keeps herself entertained drawing with crayons. Our dining experience at Rosti’s feels more like being at someone’s house rather than at a restaurant — friendly, casual and warm. We never have to wait to be seated, the service is prompt and the food is good. We noticed that other patrons bring children to Rosti’s as well — it’s definitely a great family place!

We come here about once a week on a Friday night with our toddler and it’s great each time. The food is good, the atmosphere is good, and the service is great. We particularly like the server Ginger who always takes great care of us. She is very warm and accommodating especially toward our daughter who also loves coming here. They treat children really well here. We usually get the same thing or similar meals each time. We have tried different items, like the cauliflower, from Ginger’s recommendation, and it was yummy! We plan to keep coming here in the near future.

Its good for Italian food at lunch time. I enjoy the Ceasar and Cobb salads with pine nuts, and they have really good bread. I’ve sat outside waiting for someone to bring me a menu before and decided to take it out instead… you have to really get their attention sometimes, but for the most part it’s worth trying.

Thankful to have a place to get gluten free Italian food. Food is pretty good, not the best Italian I’ve had but it’s nice to be able to go to an Italian restaurant and be able to order pasta when you’re gluten free. The service is great and the atmosphere is comfortable.

Very disappointing, as you would expect much better or at least decent in Calabasas. Service was slow and less than inspired as the staff most certainly appeared to want to be anywhere else but there. It was as if kids were covering for the real owners. The food was just badly presented and prepared. Had the house salad with wilted lettuce and not even the dressing helped. Then there was the rubber chicken and not fresh at all —As if it had been sitting for hours and warmed up. Note to Rosti: putting a sprig of rosemary in it does not camaflouge bad taste and poor preparation. Just an overall poor experience from a place that should be much better given its Calabasas location.

Oh Rosti. I wanted to give you a good review so badly. You used to be my mom’s favorite restaurant so my sister and I came in her honor. Unfortunately, there were just way too many things wrong and so we will not be coming back. I’ll start with the good: –Cute patio seating with pretty twinkle lights. –Generous wine pours. –Delicious pink sauce. –Option of gluten free pasta. And now for the bad: –Everything just looks so old and weathered. The place needs a serious makeover. Plus we couldn’t sit inside because it smelled so bad. Every now again we get a whiff of it outside when the breeze picked up. –The food wasn’t fresh at all. The bread was stale and the lettuce wilted in the salad. –Way overcooked chicken in the pasta. Couldn’t eat a bite of it. Crunchy in not a good way! –Wine tasted like it had been watered down. –Arrabbiata sauce was basically just marinara. –Service was so.slow. even though there were tons of people working and only two other tables of diners. Finally, how did you discontinue your rollati?! That’s your best dish!!! Sorry Rosti it’s over between us. And it’s not me, it’s you.

The boyfriend has been here several times before. Today was my first. Very skeptical due to the previous Unilocal and today is Father’s Day so not the best day to give a fair rating. However, Pleasantly surprised. 7PM reservation, but our movie finished early. Was able to accomodate us being 30 minutes early with a table of our choice. Still skeptical because Im thinking, where’s the line — Its Father’s Day! The ladies restroom was super clean and they have complimentary baby wipes. Clean bathroom, off to another good start. Greeted promtply in the door, seated with our choice of table, Hostess told us about some specials, took our drink order and even gave me a sample of the Pinot Grigio. Wine was very tasty and light. Very much enjoyed. Grilled Artichoke Appetizer was served promtply. They are very accomodating to sensitive diets, and when I asked for no garlic, they said NOPROBLEM server told me that the sauces are made to order on the pastas, The Aioli was a pesto blend, which was a nice touch from plain mayo. Seasoned well and not too overdone, but I do agree with other reviewers, these were some of the smallest artichokes(plural I meaning two halves, not two whole chokes) I’ve seen served as an appetizer. I ordered the artichoke raviolio which was hand made pasta envelopes filled with artichokes, paremesan and zucchini with pink sauce. Overall, I rate it a 3.5. The pasta was a tad undercooked which made the consistency gummy sort of gnnochi like but the filling was tasty. The pink sauce was tasty a bit too much paremsan which made it thicken very quickly on the pasta while I was eating it. I was very happy because it wasn’t garlicky at all! What I didn’t like and they did not mention is that the zucchini is also cubed and stewwed into the sauce, and I don’t care for stewed squash. I like my squash grilled with a bit of a crunch to it. When you over cook it it becomes slimey so I just pushed those over to the side. He had the Shrimp and Avocado Salad, Small salad with the Shrimp amount from the large order. There were probably 8 – 10 size 35 – 45 shrimp so kind of on the small side. It also included black olives, avocado and romaine lettuce He ate every morsel and enjoyed it, It came with a light vinegarette and we really didn’t detect any garlicy flavor here either. We finished with an Espresso Americano and the Spumoni. The Chocolate and the Pistadchio were good but I didn’t care for the strawberry ice cream or the chocolate shell on it, which they neglected to mention. I would have prefered the ice cream without the shell. Overall service was 5 star as we were not neglected, food was served promtply and with a smile. Everyone from the hostess to the several servers who came to our table were just terrific and that says a lot about a restaurant on one of the busiest restaurant days of the year. Super afforable. Appetizer, Wine, Dinner for two, Desert & Coffee, $ 56.00(before tip) was AMAZING.

Affordable Italian food with fast, friendly service. I came here on a Saturday night and the room was fairly empty. I ordered the Mateo Panini and it was good, but not exceptional.

The atmosphere outside is beautiful! The best time to come is in the evening, when the patio is lit up. The food is okay, but they do offer a lot of options such as gluten-free and try and make their menu healthy. There’s only been one experience with the service was poor, but for the most part the stuff is very kind and tentative.

First of all, the closing time listed on Unilocal(10pm) is incorrect. Rosti Calabasas actually closes at 9pm. We arrived at 8:50 pm and had to beg to be served. They finally agreed to serve our party of 3 if we promised to «order quickly». We had the steak and Gorgonzola panini on ciabatta — good, not great, the seafood pasta — again just acceptable — nothing special, and the fig, arugula, and goat cheese salad — actually pretty good. Nothing was«wow» and the menu selections are fairly uninspired. The food is just good, but the wait staff were all superb. The busboy was attentive and friendly and the waiter was top notch. Perhaps the were extra attentive because we were late and they wanted to go home? But we did not feel in any way rushed other than that first«order quickly» promise we had to make in order to be seated. The prices are fair and the food is acceptable. I think I’ll stick to Riviera(4 or 5 doors down in the same shopping center) next time. Riviera has a better menu(although it is more expensive — in my humble opinion, it is a better value).

I’m a huge fan of Rosti. The food is always fresh, and in my opinion there is no better place to spend a Saturday or Sunday night than hanging under the covered terrace with family and friends. Management seems to really understand how to effectively run a restaurant and please the customer. The chicken lasagna is amazing as well as the caprese salad. Can’t speak highly enough of this place!

Friday evening @ 8:30pm. Packed! Wait time 10 minutes, only outdoor patio seating available. The Service: 3 servers at the patio seating area but they also took care some tables inside too. When one table was finally available, servers passed by the table, no one would clean up the table or even told busboy to do so. Had to tell the host to setup the table for us. :( Service was lacking maybe because it was a busy night. Took a while till server served the drinks, bread & plates. Since the server was hard to find, the buyboy helped out a lot. The Food: Roasted Artichoke — When they grilled the artichoke, put way too much lemon juice. Too sour. Penne with Spicy Sausage — The portion is kind of small. The pasta was a little bit under-cooked. The sausage is tasty. But the whole dish was not impressed. The Parking: Private Lot(FREE)
