Going to the barber is more than just about a hair cut, its also about the social experience of it all. I have lived in cambridge for 10 years now and have had quite a journey in finding a barber shop that suits my needs. In Famous Cuts, I am elated to say that I have found what I am looking for.
The atmosphere is relaxed and the ethnic ambience only enhances the experience. Most of the guys are from the Dominican Republic and sometimes i feel like as if I am on vacation through exposure to their language, music and culture.
The barbers, David, Carlos and Julio all have the disposition of a warm sunny day on a beach on a caribbean island and they all go the extra mile to making the experience pleasant and satifying. They all cater to my needs for crazy designs in my hair to crazier designs in my eyebrows and to top it all off, Julio offers a fantatic facial scrub and massage that is guaranteed to lighten your complextion and substract a few years off your face! I leave feeling rejuvanated and comfident about the way i look.
So bravo to the guys at famous cuts. You have a life long customer in me!

It’s hard to find a barbershop that has skilled guys that can do perfect fades, spikes, write your name in your hair, whatever you want. Personally, I think Elvis is the most skilled in the shop, but the others do a good job too.
