I don’t ride BMX bikes and I probably never will, but I can wholeheartedly recommend this place because I can tell they are good people doing good business. Yesterday my bike chain popped off of my(totally uncool, non-BMX, Pee-Wee Herman looking beach cruiser) bike when it came off a couple of blocks away from the shop and the kind gentleman who owns the shop put it back on for me(for free!). Thanks, Timeless BMX! Now when I go past you on my daily commute I will think warmly of your repair job rather than simply the aforementioned congregating lads!

If I were a teenage boy this place would have me drooling more than Lindsey Lohan in Mean Girls. It’s high end frames and accessories, small selection of clothing, videos and shoes oozes of coolness. The owner is a super chill knowledgable fellow, a pillar of the BMX culture in Mass. He not only rides himself, films video and possesses all technical knowledge but aims to make the shop a place for kids to hang thereby building a community of to quote Cara P, «hot little lads on bikes.» Don’t come here with your popped tires and junked up chains, it’s not a repair shop. Pedal over if you’ve got an appreciation for the radness.

Yum This independent BMX store opened up a while ago right near my home. Located on Cambridge street In E. Cambridge(2 minutes walk from Lechmere) It is host to a gang full of tight hot little lads on bikes. Not the typical thing I go for, but I can’t help but blush every time I walk by there. Oh and there is always a group. Out front on there bikes or in the store. Oh… and the dog, I presume to be their mascot, is cute as well. You can purchase rad Clothing, hats, T-shirts, accessories and shoes-the prices are reasonable and I don’t feel out of place when I go in there. They also sell the frame and parts for BMX bikes… Duh they are catering to and supporting the new public park with a skate/bike park section that is 4,000 sq ft… it is opening Fall of ’08 across the Museum of Science, or uh umm… the new spot I will be walking my dog. I just love me some biker boys in tight pants! Oopops, did I say that?
