Absolutely the best burger on the lake! Service is top notch. Super clean in a beautiful quiet cove. We’ve been several times and the food has been excellent each time. This is our favorite place to bring friends because it’s a laid back comfortable place with great food! Perfect for the family.

This little place packs a punch. Great burgers for the best price on the water. The service is awesome from Chesnie herself. Im a very satisfied customer and will spread the word. The cove is perfect for a quiet getaway off the main channel.

The Bucks burger has always been one of the best burgers on the lake and they are still serving it here!
This is a little floating joint in the same cove as Bulldogs Beachhouse. There are tables and chairs inside and out and you can also order to go. Which is what we do, and we eat on the boat. It is not a wild crazy loud lake spot. Little but very clean and just good food!
The burgers and really good and cooked when ordered, but we love the Corn Nuggets! You get a huge basket full, the fries are also plentiful and not soggy! Perfect for a stop when your hungry and don’t want to bother with the big noisy busy lakeside restaurants!

Great burger and catfish sandwich. Pretty simple diner but cook/​owner was very friendly. It’s located on the end of a dock near Red Oak which is an RV camp site and hotel for fishermen. Looks like a fun place on the weekends!

I came in with my wife for breakfast and was very impressed. The owner is named Jamie and he and his wife were manning the kitchen. The seating is simple but old school, a bar if your by yourself or tables for larger groups. We ordered standard breakfast fare and it came out quickly, (I am actually eating it while writing this review.) The hash browns are the best I’ve ever had and I watched him break and beat real eggs. Another thing that impressed me was the cleanliness of the restaurant, between the constant hand washing and the cleaning of surfaces, I felt like this guy cared about his place. Unfortunately Unilocalers I have to finish my chow so that is all for now!

Did some research for a good breakfast spot and didn’t find very many options. I decided to try this small diner on the docks of a resort. Although there aren’t many reviews or pictures, if you’re looking for simple good food, this is the place!
This place delivered great, home-​cooked food! This is a no-​frills, small menu diner that is done simply and really well! Came two days in a row while staying at the lake breeze resort! Really kind, genuine people. Two kids helping with taking orders, serving food and beverages, cleaning tables, and register work. I was really happy with the food:
Biscuits and Gravy-​good sausage and creamy flavor with a perfect amount followed onto some basic biscuits.
Scrambled Eggs: cooked and seasoned perfectly
Bacon: not flimsy, not burnt
Hash brown: nice and buttery
Only complaint, the coffee was on the weak side. but the good and service was good enough for me to overlook this

The burgers are great — 1⁄3 pound of Angus beef… what could be better?! The quaint little café on the lake offers a beautiful view and is perfect for watching wildlife or wetting a line. An indoor fishing dock offers a place for kids (& adults) to feed (or catch) crappie, bluegill and catfish. The breakfast is perfect for those early morning anglers or those vacationers who want to sleep in. A definite must-​visit on your trip to the lake. It’s easily accessible by both land and water. This family-​run business offers fast and friendly service.

I absolutely love to see new local businesses that are family owned and operated. Chesnie’s is a charming little café/​diner right on the water and is conveniently located in a campground! Hands down the best burger I’ve ever had at the lake! It’s no wonder too, the owner, a former fire fighter, definitely knows how to grill ‘em!!! Polite, clean, and friendly establishment. Chesnie’s is a prime spot for fishermen to get breakfast before heading out or lunch when getting back in! They serve home cooked style breakfasts that are delicious and filling! Inside there is an enclosed area to fish in, which was very cool! Definitely stop by this place when camping or when you’re out in the water! They offer dockside service! I’ll definitely be back!
