Niangua Falls

Please try this place. We got seated upstairs and the waiters station was closed, but our waitress worked very hard to get us refills, appetizers, and our meals. The food is excellent, especially the chicken parmesan, the sidewinders, and the frog legs. Nothing greasy or cheaply made. We were a table of nine and everything was wonderful!

Wow, awful! Out of several things on the menu, brought out some random cheese on a burger because they ran out of American cheese.
Our server, KayleeP, was drinking beer in view of the patrons, petting a nasty dog, serving our food without washing her hands and she was angry and rude because we asked her to clean up some puke we found under our table and complained about the burger.
In regards to the nasty dog. The owner at the bar looked just as bad and was wearing a shirt that had her boobs falling out the sides of it. She also let the dog bother people eating at the tables.
In short, DON’T GO!!!

Drove down to lake and decided to try Niangua Falls for the first time for dinner.
Waited to be seated outside. Had to ask some one to help us. Finally just sat at a vacant table and the waiter took our drink order and the drinks arrived. I ordered chicken wings and a burger. My wife ordered a salad with vegetables and no chicken with dressing on the side.
Salad arrived with no veggies and chicken? Burger arrived and no chicken wings. Server asked if everything was ok. Explained no wings and no veggies? Said he would bring right out. We both finished our meals and then veggies and wings came out?
Extremely poor service and will never come back! I could understand this at start of summer but on July 2^nd this is inexcusable!!!
New restaurant and lots of competition at the lake! We will never come back.
Maybe management needs top go to customer service class!

Maybe. huge improvement over former operations on this site. nice new docks. Smells fresh… old place here wreaked to hi heaven. Very redone. Bartender was a doll. Waiter was a total dweeb. never asked if i wanted anything else and expected $ 5 tip on $ 15 bill…, geeez. ordered crawfish appetizer. For $ 10 get tiny plate of tasteless crawfish. This aint Baton Rouge folks. i dunno. Jurys out til i try other food. the patio has great wide view if other food is decent, i will upgrade my rating.

Location is amazing! Drinks are good. Food is below average. We started out asking for a beer list and our waitress didn’t have one. So we just ask what was on tap and the answer was I’m not sure. We have an IPA. It’s Wheatie. Not sure of its name??? Seriously? Do u not work here and u have no idea what beers you have?
Keep in mind this is a Tuesday night in June which was completely dead.
We ordered a bunch of apps and a pizza as we had 6 people and we were hungry. Portions were decent size but the food was awful. Not sure how you screw up a pizza but we ordered one and it had not one ounce of flavor. We also ordered crawfish (bleh), frog legs (chewy), nachos (covered in awful cheese), shrimp (probably the best) and gator bites (taste like blacken chicken). Just mind boggling how so many different things can be tasteless. If you’re drunk this going to be is amazing. If you’re sober you are going to be very disappointed. They seriously need to step up their game for the prices. Very disappointing :(

Had a nice meal and listen to a great country band. Nice view of the lake. Loved the falls and the huge American flag. We were told it has been open since April of this year. Food was good. Had the chicken spedini. Very nice waitress. Will be back.
