OK, I finally decided to cave in to my friends’ urging to try a swirl… and yes, the rumors are true: one will get you good, 2 will get you REALLY good (maybe too good).
I love the atmosphere and location too. Getting a table required a bit of hovering on a busy Saturday but not too bad.
Food was pretty good and was ready quicker than I had anticipated. I had the lemon chicken which I really liked and my friend had some pork carnitas dish that was OK. The salsa bar is a nice touch.
Overall, definitely a place I would come back to.

My new favorite restaurant!!! It’s delicious fast healthy and reasonably priced. They run specials every day. I haven’t tried too many things yet but the taquitos I got are ahmazing. I’ve tried both the chicken and the sweet potato taquitos and I don’t know what it is that makes it so tasty but the combination of what they have on the plate makes it a party in my mouth. The plate was less than $ 10 and filled me up (and I have a big appetite). It’s almost not comparable since quality is way better here but I feel that it’s way more worth it to eat here than say Chipotle and they are so fast that it’d take the same amount of time.
It’s casual, they have a dozen outdoor seating with umbrellas so if you want to bring your dog you can.
They accept COIN card.

If you ask me, Swirls are the main reason people come here. At least, it’s the main reason I do.
I have only had the quesadilla, but I think the beans they serve with it make the meal very delicious. However, the food doesn’t taste like the same hole-​in-​the-​wall Mexican food you’d expect. It tastes a little more generic, but like I said– I’ve only had the quesadilla.
Swirls do the trick though. Get one, you’re on a pretty good buzz and definitely shouldn’t be driving anywhere after. Get two, and you’re pushing the drunk barrier. If you’re able to sneak a third, you’ll definitely be risking your memory retention.
The service is really great here– the cashiers are pretty friendly if you ask me. I was going to give them three stars, but thinking of the service made me want to give another. :)

I usually dread when someone recommends going to Aqui just because that same someone could easily say I am the type of person who doesn’t find fun… fun. Lately, though, I’ve noticed that my cold little heart has warmed to Aqui because their food actually is really delicious and the staff there have always been sweet as pie — it’s the «finding a table» business that is typically unpleasant.
I guess it’s a good sign that all Aquis I’ve visited have been raucously busy because it might just mean that they aren’t going anywhere, but hovering over a family that seems like they’re nice enough people with your tray full of food in hand and waiting for them to hurry up and finish is not a good look.
On the opposite side of that very coin, though, my husband and I last visited this location on New Year’s Day for brunch and it was almost eerily pleasant. No line to wait in, our super tasty food came up right away, we got a primo people-​watching seat near the window, and it didn’t start getting busy until after we were done with our meal. What luck!
I think if you time it right, eating at this Aqui can be really enjoyable. Once you get a table, order a few Swirls all around and post up for a while — you’ve earned it.

I had this place recommended to me by a few people. It was hard to figure out what they were saying though because I thought they said «a –key» for the longest time until I realized they were saying «aqui».
I found a parking lot connected to this building and didn’t have to pay. There is also street parking available.
I generally don’t like mexican food but lately I’ve been down to try different dishes. Aqui cal-​mex does have some satisfying meals. I had a crab based burrito I believe and the soup that comes with it. I don’t recall the actual name but if you show them the picture, I’m sure they will know what it is.
You choose your own seating. When I got my order, I had to take it to the table with me. I was confused as to where the utensils were. So if you are looking for that, there is a small buffet-​like booth where you can grab your sauces and utensils.
I also got a sunrise swirl drink (sorry, also forgot the name) for my friend and he couldn’t finish it. I ended up drinking a little more than half of it. It has a strong vodka taste to it with some orange flavoring to it. I probably would try a different drink next time just to compare.
A guy, sitting by himself, ordered two of the same drink I ordered and finished it in one sitting. He was just casually reading and eating his tortilla chips and managed to lap me and my friend twice.
Overall, the staff is very tidy and friendly. I wished that they had helped me bring over the food but I’m sure I could’ve easily asked them. I would recommend strolling around campbell because there is a few fun stores around. I definitely did so because I didn’t want to drive right after drinking (to be on the safe side).

What an awesome and fun restaurant. My cousin and I came here for the swirls while on our journey of celebration for my 21^st birthday. For one, the swirls were so very delicious. Perfect drink, doesn’t taste too strong but it sure does pack a punch. They were sooo good!
I also had the pleasure of tasting Aqui’s guacamole and chips which were delicious. Just the right combo of chunky avocado, zesty lemon, tomatoes and spices. Yum yumm! I would Definitely come here again and plan on bringing a few friends.

So you heard about the SWIRLS and you wanna try ONE OR FIVE? Yes they are tasty if you like sweet drinks and yes they will get you obnoxiously drunk very fast.

IN CONCLUSION: SWIRLS are amazing because they leave you with a story. Without a story life is boring. Oh and Aqui’s is one of the only places around with a nice relaxing spot to sit outside. The staff is also always nice, friendly and will help you crawl to your car… I mean to a Taxi, Über, Lyft or will point you in the direction of your house.
Oh the food? I used to hate it and think it was bland, but now I like it. You just have to pick the right things and you will have a tasty adventure in your mouth.
WARNING: Yes if you are sipping SWIRLS throughout the day you can probably drink more than 3, but they do recommend you not go over 3. If you are drinking them in a short amount of time and try to go for 4 like my friend Danny (visiting from New York) you will end up accidentally throwing up on your friends ex-​boyfriend who happens to be an elementary school principle.

I’m back aquis… for food! Seriously, I’ve only been making trips for those swirls (really I don’t recommend 2 drinks if 1) you’re driving or 2) you didn’t eat beforehand). But this time around, came for late lunch and decided to try out more of their food. It has gotten mixed reviews – some people here say it’s too bland or really nothing special and just cal-mex…but I have to say today’s experience won me over. Ordered the avacado/​hummus/​black been dip w/​tortilla chips, bbq chicken quesadilla, and grilled salmon salad. Chips are chips and the dips were solid. Bbq chicken quesadilla was on the drier side BUT with the pico de gallo and salsa I have no complaints (I even brought home leftovers and ate it with extra bbq sauce and it was pretty darn good). I did like the addition of pumpkin seeds for that crunchy texture though (I might do that at home when making my own). Finally… the grilled salmon salad-​probably my fav! The salmon was grilled to perfection – juicy, tender, moist and seasoned just right (not dry!). The salad was simple – I love jicima/​edamame beans and the tortilla chips added a nice crunch (they were large chips but I crushed them into smaller pieces and sprinkled it on top); the cilantro pesto and lemon vinaigrette dressing was also really good – great balance between acidity, sourness, and creaminess.
Overall, solid food! Good mixture of flavors and healthy options (dishes are light-​not too salty, nothing over-​seasoned but flavorful enough). I am extremely sensitive with eating out and I’ve noticed that I haven’t had to dunk myself in gallons of water afterwards aka not much msg or salt/​sodium here so… props aquis!

Service: N/​A this is a place that you walk up and order at the front and they give you a buzzer. That said, they are pretty quick at cleaning up the tables but if there is a chance that you will order and then learn that all the tables are taken

The veggie quesadillas lacked salsa and was a really random assortment of ingredients that didn’t work too well… feta and edamame?
The beef brisket was decent but the barbecue sauce tasted like something out of a bottle and overpowered everything so I had to drench it in salsa

I seriously love Aqui’s (mostly for their swirls) no matter the location! This location is conveniently located in Downtown Campbell. It’s easy to find and parking isn’t too bad. You can park on the street or in the parking garage next to Aqui’s.
I came here at around 5pm and it was already packed, at least on the outside seating. It was a really nice day so I understand why everyone was sitting outside. But the inside was nice a cool and not packed at all!
So one of my friends haven’t tried swirls yet (I know right?!), so that was pretty much why we came. I got the Sangria swirl since it’s my favorite one out of them all. Do check out their seasonal swirls though! I also got the daily special, which was the Tandori Salmon Enchiladas, for dinner. Both the drink and food were good. I am always so satisfied by their swirls.
I’ll have to admit that I’m kind of a lightweight and one is definitely good enough for me. It is strong, so be warned! It’s tasty yet so strong. You can’t taste too much of the alcohol so it slowly creeps up on you. Do please drink responsibly!
Overall, I definitely recommend this place. Their food is decent. Their swirls are great! So do come and try the swirls if you haven’t!

Come for the swirls and that’s about it. The swirls are strong and I mean, strong! 1 gets you at a good buzz, 2 gets you pretty drunk, 3… Good luck! Don’t push yourself and don’t underestimate them either!
When you come to Aqui’s, be prepared to watch the other tables like a hawk. There is seriously no tables if you come late and you’ll probably end up standing up for a very long time.
The food is a zero in my book, nothing to it really. No flavor in some of their dishes unless I haven’t found a good dish yet. I tried the chicken enchiladas and the tequitos and they were okay. Swirls, chips and salsa, and friends is all you need! (And chairs and a table)
Btw the Manhattan swirl is so strong, I couldn’t even take another sip. The sangria is my favorite!

Stopped in for an Industrial Margarita before going to Quicksilver, good thing it will be a short hike.
Ended up getting the Apple Walnut Salad. I’ll keep the four star rating for now but the amount of dressing on the salad was overpowering. It was swimming in it, I would have returned it but we were in a hurry. I’ve had this salad before and it was fine but I’ll certainly get the dressing on the side next time.

A nice place to grab a drink in downtown Campbell before hitting the bars.
I love that this place is conveniently located next to the parking garage, which is free and easy to find parking (unlike downtown San Jose). Plenty of seating in doors and outdoors, when it’s not a busy weekend. I’ve only visited Aqui on the weekends unfortunately and there was never any seating for my friends and I unless we really kept an eye out.
The only things I can comment on are the swirls, the chips and salsa, and the guacamole.
Chips and salsa: Decent snack to munch on but nothing special.
Guacamole: Again, nothing special.
Swirls: Yikes they weren’t kidding when they said «industrial strength margaritas»! I am super light weight when it comes to alcohol so one swirl is always enough for me. My friends on the other hand can usual go for a second. In regards to the taste, the alcohol is a little overwhelming for me, but my friends looooove it, especially the strawberry swirl.
The bartenders who made our drinks were decently friendly, I’m sure they did their best considering the busy crowed. But their work was sloppy and I expected a better quality drink considering the price I paid (~$ 10 a swirl).

The swirls are pretty strong. If i drank 2 i probably wouldn’t make it through the rest of the night. So i usually only drink one. I wouldn’t eat here though. The food was sub par.
This place gets pretty crowded on Friday and Saturday nights and it can be difficult to get a table so come early if you can!

I was here with some friends over the weekend and had a great time! It’s a bit of a hassle to order as you have to order upfront, find your own table, & grab your own food. However, once you have a couple of margaritas & swirls in your system, you will forget about the hassle in the beginning and enjoy your experience. Do sit outside as it’s a great place to enjoy the beautiful California weather and semi healthy Cal Mexican cuisine!
The avocado dip is a generous amount and very fresh. The Roasted Pork Carnitas was tender & flavorful. I also had a batter Chicken Special that was good. Since i’m really in to sauces and salsa, I really enjoyed their Salsa bar.

I’m sure you heard of whiskey dick right? Well, this will give you swirly dick… hahaha, 2 of the swirls will get you f’ed up. And that is why they limit it to 3 per person.
I don’t remember which swirl my friend bought me but if you think it’s all sweet and good, and don’t think it’ll mess you up, think again buddy. Seriously, don’t under estimate the swirls… or you’ll end up drunk tryna to get it up with the swirls and swirls will make you cock block yourself.
I also had a adobo chicken burrito before drinking a swirl. Smart idea because I just got off the plane from SD and my friend brought me here to have a swirl. I was pretty drunk at the end of the night, but thanks to the huge ass burrito I was not blacked out. They have good salsa for the burritos and the chips.
Remember to eat and be smart about it, cut yourself off at 2!

I enjoy this place every visit! I’m writing this review after several visits. Each visit is equally delicious and overall satisfying. I love the food plate samples on display. I am a visual person and it’s nice to see the options.
Today I tried an item from their Sunday brunch menu. I substituted tofu for the egg and asked for no cheese. My order was incorrectly made, but quickly remade after bringing it to their attention. The person behind the counter was very polite and apologized.
Another thing I love about Aquis is their salsa bar. Yum! All their salsas are so flavorful and clearly marked. You want spicy? Try the ghost one. Month on fire!
Their to-​go containers are out to grab too. This makes it a much quicker process. I like to cut my meals in half and take part of it home.
Location and layout is great too! Downtown Campbell really benefits from Aquis and what it has to offer. The seating inside is well done. The bar is to the side which keeps the overall feeling the place more family friendly.
Overall great vegetarian and meat food options! My bf and I can both leave completely satisfied.

Food is good, not the best, but their swirls are delicious and tasty! Chips and salsa are bottomless and looking for a spot to sit was not too long, especially on a Sunday afternoon, so I was grateful for that.
The service was great and I was happy with the amount of food given. Beautiful day to spend outside at Aquis and a great place to hang with friends!
