First time coming here and I’m EXTREMELY disappointed. The wait was decent to get a seat, but getting our food took foreverrrrrr. Plus they messed up my family’s orders the second time around since they ran out of the food we wanted. Which means we had to wait even longer. The people who got here before us finished their food we even gor ours ughh. The food is decent, but with this kind of service I won’t be coming back.

Guess I came on the wrong day. Long wait to get in. Had to change order when it was announced 15 minutes later that they were out of sisig and tocino. Now currently waiting because they got my order wrong. I’ll try again when it’s not as crazy here.

One of my favorite Filipino places in the area. For those who might not know, I’m actually Filipino and i can always go for some Sisig anytime of the day.

First time hearing about this place so me and my friend decided to go. She’s Filipino and vegetarian so she was really excited to see they had tofu adobo. I got the sisig fries which were very basic. Just tasted like some greasy carne Asada fries. I felt disgusted with myself after eating it, didn’t even finish it. Might try something different if I go again. My friend said her tofu was ok, after trying it, they just cook the tofu and leave it in the sauce. I was hoping they cook the tofu in the sauce that way it gets marinated. Might give it a another try, we will see. Prices were little bit steep for what it’s worth.

Cons 1. The garlic rice was cold. 2. Tapsilog was a bit dry. Pros 1. Tocilog was delicious. 2. Lechon Kawali Silog was good but world have been better if served as smaller bite-sized pieces. 3. Galunggong Silog was good but portion size not as hearty as the meat dishes. 4. Halo-halo and turon worth a try. 5. Service mostly good. Server confirmed refill for ice tea when dessert order was placed and then forgot to bring it.

2nd time here… Enjoyed the Arroz Caldo… plenty of roasted garlic with chicken. Not tooo salty just right. Also enjoyed the Tosilog, my son enjoyed the spamsilog and longsilog and adobosilog. We tried the Gulamon Sago… alittle too sweet but all you need to add is water… The décor is awesome. love the running medals, Big spoon and fork… plus there are TVs which could be shows sports events. Definitely will go back. I would recommend.

Save me! This cat cries as he finds himself being dragged to an unknown restaurant by his fellow beings. As always, I’m not the best at finding my way around on my own, so my friends are often the ones who kidnap me to new places they want to try. That’s how I found my way here to tapsilog bistro. Our party arrived at around 5:30 and it was already packed. We managed to snag the last table available in the far corner. We were seated and given no menus for a while though. It wasn’t too big of an issue as one of us went to the large stack of menus behind the counter, but it is a little odd to be seated and given no menus. The menu here has some pretty interesting options. I ended up getting the two meat Silog with Chicken adobo and hash. One thing I noticed is that this place is very busy! From the moment we arrived, there was a line out the door of customers waiting. Must be something special! The meal arrived pretty quickly and I was quite happy with it. The hash here is truly amazing. I was worried that it would be too salty, but it was just right for this cat ^ ^ Our group also shared a plate of fried calamari which was definitely on the salty side for me, but it wasn’t bad. The servings here are very large, and you can expect to be quite full by the end of your meal. We were definitely full but my ludicrous fellow cat decided to get us all halo halo for dessert. This was very yummy and a great way to end the meal. Definitely really enjoyed this place. I would give full stars but the lack of menus at the start and the service being a bit impersonal ticked off one for me, but that said, if we had come on a less busy day I am sure it would be full stars all the way. Definitely worth a checking out! *chirp*!

If I was on death row and had an option for my last meal it would be from here. The staff is great and compt a second plate of lumpia(basically mini pork egg rolls) for me and my friend. Portions are big, food is amazing and the pitchers are over 2L. I would recommend the sweet Filipino bacon. I forgot what they call it on the menu but it was the best pork I have ever tasted. My only my regret… I wish the portions were smaller. I could not stop myself from trying to finish the plate. Even though I absolutely failed to eat the entire thing.

Came here with a party of 12, we waited an hour and a half to just be seated(they couldn’t seat us all at one table) and waited another hour to get our food. Our food came a couple of dishes at at time with several minutes in between rounds. The first people to receive their food finished before the last of us even got our food. 9 out of the 12 of us were not satisfied by the quality of our food either. Asked for boxes 4 times around the end of the meal and didn’t get them till after they ran out cards.

My first time here and I don’t plan on coming back. Server her name is Nette, or something along those lines. She’s probably one of the worst servers I’ve had in general. We waited for an hour to get seated and when we finally got seated, she told us that they ran out of clean cups so she gave us the to go plastics cups. Then when she finally comes back saying they have run out clean spoons… really, what kind of restaurant are they running. And of course we waited another hour to get the food, we didn’t even get everything so we cancelled the other two orders. Overall Service is a 0 Food is a 3 Don’t plan to come unless you got a party of 6 or more because it’s very obvious that they cater and service to them a lot better then the other smaller parties.

I was really into my Sisig around the time I tried this restaurant out. I think it was my brother that took us here for my dad’s birthday one lunch. It was probably my dad’s birthday bc it was still warm out and he doesn’t get a say in where we eat, he’s a follower. So the wait was kinda long for a Table for 4 on a Sunday afternoon. This is probably expected on weekends and at the time T-Bistro was still a little fresh/popular by word of mouth. Once we were seated, we took a gander at the menu and picked up one of the humungo platters, Sisig fries and Sisilog for myself(wasn’t gonna share bro!). They also have a nice selection of Brews on Tap but anyone that knows me knows beer isn’t my first beverage of choice. Personally, I’ve kinda grown out of the whole«fusion fries» craze where cheese is slathered amongst a «bed» of other condiments on potato cuts; but I can vouch for the Sisig fries here are dope if you have the personal tastes of a 25 y/o. The platter offered a wide variety of food for our family, so much that we had to take some of it to go. It’s safe to say they were all satisfied from that and the fry appetizer. To top off all that sampling from my family’s food, I had the Sisilog to myself and man oh man was I having withdrawals the week after for that dish. I don’t like premixed sisig with the sauce, a lot of the time it’s very saturated in salt and doesn’t make it enjoyable no matter how much rice you eat it with — they put it on the side here, and a little goes a long way, trust me! If you’re looking to impress your first-time friends with flip cuisine, I would suggest this place just bc of some of the fusion items and drink menu they offer. Great for Tabaching pig-outs.

I’ll give this place 3 stars for now. I came in for lunch around 12 and surprisingly the place wasn’t CRAZY packed, which I’m glad for. When I walked in, there was a very homey feeling. The place is decked out with local sports teams décor and what I can only assume are things from the Philippines. The thing they use to hold their straws and sauces are old beer boxes. San Miguel and Red Horse if you know what I mean ;), a little basic, but I’ll give it to them for highlighting the Filipino culture. Inside the condiments box, you can find Filipino fish sauce, Jufffron aka Banana Ketchup, all purpose sauce, siracha, ketchup, and a few other things that I can’t recall right now. I’ve been wanting to try this place for months now! And I finally decided to go for it when I saw that they had SigSig Fries! NOMZZZ. Yaass, fries, cheese, guac, and sourcream? Count me in! They looked so good on Unilocal,I had to come in and give it a try for myself. The two guys at the front were super nice and helpful. They checked in on me and my friend to make sure everything was going well. I ordered the Sigsig Fries, because you’d have to be crazy not to want it after seeing those pictures. I was a bit disappointed when my food came out, in all honesty, it was a bit underwhemling. It didn’t look packed with toppings like I had expected. The meat was a bit dry for my taste, and there was too little cheese on the fries. I mean, despite the dryness, the meat was nicely flavored. The guac was seasoned well and it all just went really well together. I don’t know if I’d spend $ 13.50 again on the dish for myself, but perhaps I’ll give it a second chance if I could split it with someone. I definitely want to come back and try out more dishes, especially the lechon!!! I’m super stoked because this place is so close to work, it’s only a five minute drive from where I’m located. I saw the halo halo come out as I was paying, and I wanted to scream of joy. I MUST try this next time! And of course the drinks I’ve been reading reviews about. It started getting more packed when I was leaving, so that was a good thing on my end. I definitely enjoyed my time here though.

So glad Unilocal led me here! It was hard to find at first. It’s a small restaurant in the back of the plaza but you’ll notice it when you see their food truck right across the way. The staff is super awesome! Right when you walk in, they’ll greet you with a happy hello. They always checked in to see if we needed anything and they’re super friendly. On top of that, the food was awesome. Lots of options, big portions, and tasty food! They’ve also got some interesting things on the menu that I didn’t get to try yet, like the ube float, but I’ll definitely come back to try it one day. I also gotta come back to try their kamayan meals! Whenever I’m in Campbell and craving Filipino food, I’ll be here again!

Always friendly staff. The food is always great and huge portions. I tend to go here with a group of friends to share food the portions are HUGE. Although they do have hae huge portions, there are entrees that are good for one person, for example, any of their delicious burritos. I love longunisa burrito and ask for ADOBO sauce on the side. They change up their menus every so often. They used to have Kare Kare and only on thursdays or some randon once a week. They changed it to everyday, but I did see they changed it to Crispy Kare Kare(it has lechon in it) I love the halo halo. Big portion, and they used evaporated milk instead of condense milk, so its not overly sweet. Pros: *large portions to share as a party. Filipino pride here wooooot *FRIENDLY staff members, very helpful * Not Fast food filipino restaurant: I feel like they’re always fast food and gross Cons: The only con i felt was their times they closed on Sunday. They close early at 5pm, unless they changed that.

The Bistro wasn’t a winner for me & I had high hopes. My husband & I decided to try a new Filipino restaurant and strayed from our usual spot. The ambiance is nice with fun décor & seems like it could be a lively spot during happy hour. The staff was extremely friendly/helpful. For me, it was the food that missed the mark. We both started with drinks. My husband went for an IPA& the Calamansi mimosa for myself. My husband felt the IPA taps were dirty as the beer tasted funny. My mimosa was refreshing & not overly sweet. For food, he had the pork adobo plate & I went with the kare kare lunch special. Any time I can have crispy pork belly, I’m happy. We also ordered the pancit. Food took a minute, but didn’t bother us much. We were told after it’s because they prepare all dishes fresh. Unfortunately, it didn’t seem that way. My husbands pork adobo was pretty dry. My pork belly was really nice with a tasty peanut sauce. My side of white rice was cold & dry. So, I focused on the pancit which was delicious! We ended feeling like the food was mediocre. Not sure we will go back because we love our other Filipino restaurant so much.

Fills that homemade Filipino food craving! My hubby and I came here on a Sunday around 12pm. Which is supposedly the busy time during the day. I called ahead of time and asked what the wait time was currently for two people. The guy on the phone said there was no wait. We came and got seated at the bar immediately. While we were looking over the menu a table opened up and he asked if we wanted to sit, we said yes. How thoughtful! THEFOOD is amazing! I ordered longsilog and halo halo(of course!) Food did come a little slower than I’d like but the waiter explained everything was cooked to order. And lets be real, longsilog takes a bit to cook. The meat was perfect and the rice is to die for! Halo halo, what can I say. Perfectly shaved ice, with right amounts of each ube, coconut jelly etc. Definitely coming back!

One of the local restaurants to my workplace across the street. This is the first authentic filipino food spot I’ve been to all these years and i got to say its pretty tasty but at the same time oily. I got the tapsilog which was simply rice, egg and a piece of thin steak. For the money, i feel like it’s so simple to make but im still going to have to give it a four stars because it was still good food that i don’t normally eat. To sum it up… Great Service! Greasy food! and will probably come back on my lunch break to try something else on the menu!

Came here for lunch after researching places to eat near my new work. I was missing being able to have access to authentic Filipino food on an almost daily basis and Tapsilog Bistro sounded like it could satiate that craving. Upon arriving, I see three people who I assume are workers at this establishment crowded over one cashier looking like they were having trouble figuring out the correct amount of change to give back to a patron. A cute girl with a septum piercing greeted me and seated me immediately… but totally forgot to hand me a menu. I sit at my table attempting to make contact with any of the three(who were still fussing about the change at the register) and finally caught one of them to help me with a menu after about 5 or 6 minutes. While I waited for someone to notice me needing a menu, a small bug with wings from the ceiling landed on my shirt… hrmmm. Tapsilog Bistro prides itself on trying to remind its patrons of what mom and lola would cook(though they admit it won’t be as delicious as lola’s) like the good ol’ days. On their menu is a vast selection of appetizers, silogs, traditional/classic dishes and even some sort of Mexican fusion. This fusion section of the menu quickly caught my eye… adobo in burrito form? Sign me up right? Not so fast! I ordered the pork adobo burrito, eager to see how it is. The burrito consists of pork adobo, garlic rice, a fried egg, swiss/cheddar mix, and green bell peppers. I’ve got to say, the taste is aight. I just don’t think the idea of silog in a wrap works in terms of accessibility. What I mean is there was one half of my burrito that consisted of solely garlic rice and pork adobo — no peppers no egg. This half of my burrito was really lackluster and I couldn’t even grab a bit of each thing in one bite because they were all encased in a tortilla(which tbh was greasy and not grilled long enough for some crispiness). As I ate my burrito, which granted still tasted pretty good, the cute girl with the septum piercing was working on replacing sauces at each table. When she got to mine, she was able to switch out empty bottles easily, but left her dirty rag right on my table… hrrrmmm… While I paid for the bill, I also added an order of halo-halo. On the pricier side, but the cup is a huge one. The taste is so-so… nothing that makes it stand out really. But the other girl who helped me was super nice throughout. In fact, the entire staff was friendly and pretty welcoming. It seems like they know their regulars and keep a rapport with them. I believe the owner was there as well and made sure to let me know that my food was on its way out so I wouldn’t have a panic attack lol. In the end, I would probably give Tapsilog Bistro one other try. I admit I’m being a little nitpicky about little things(forgetting to give menus, insects, leaving dirty rags out), but they just did not bode well with my overall experience. I hope that with the right training, the staff will be able to overcome these tiny obstacles and create a better dining experience for its customers.

Ever since I’ve been living on my own, the opportunity for me to eat Filipino food has dwindled just because my family members would usually cook them so this place was the closest to homemade Filipino food. ATMOSPHERE: There was a lot of space to park. This place also had outdoor and indoor seating. It was kind of hot outside so I decided to sit inside. The place itself was medium size. I would say the maximum amount of people that could fit inside is less than 50. FOOD: I ordered the lechon kawali ‘silog which was comprised of garlic rice and eggs on top of it. I ate my lechon kawali with Mang Tomas sauce(liver sauce — it’s better than it sounds, I promise!) and it was tasty! The rice and eggs were awesome as well! CUSTOMERSERVICE: Customer service was great! I was greeted by a friendly guy and it made me feel like I was back at home in the Philippines. I would definitely love to come back and take my family to this place when they visit in a couple of weeks!
