I belong to a group that likes to get together at restaurants. One day they decided to meet here. The organizer made reservations for 8 people at 3 pm. The restaurant refused to seat them until all 8 people showed up. So, a half an hour later, our party was still waiting to be seated. I wonder what would have happened had one person not shown up. Would they have refused to seat them because 7 people showed up instead of the 8? The food was alright, but this was a major turn off.
