I’ve always have bad luck with haircuts. I’ve gone through so many stylists and they never could do it right. I have thin long hair, elbow length I would say. and I never wanted to go any shorter, I wanted to do anything I could to my hair to make it not look so stringy and lifeless.
I got recommended to try this salon and to do it with Al. I went in there with hair was was different lengths from front to back due to a bad haircut from my previous stylist and I walked out with the most amazing haircut I have ever gotten. He did exactly what I wanted and my hair has never looked so full and healthy! I am really happy with these the results and I will continue to get my haircuts from Al for as long as I possibly can! He is very talented and really knows what he is doing! :)

The only positive that came out of our trip today it was a 20 min cut. Today I took my daughter and was very upset with Ali’s careless attitude, unprofessional-​ism, and the price he charged for the cut. My daughter is crying her eyes out right now. The only reason I didn’t say anything at the salon cuz Ali wasn’t listening to it. I told him my daughter wants a bob showed the picture, but all he can say was no thats not going to work, he was rushing through the whole thing, if u r that bz y give us time to come? He didn’t wash her hair, nor blow dried, and was charging us $ 40 but said i’ll give u discount, i paid $ 30. For the cut he did i wouldn’t even spend $ 15 on it. He’s way over priced and now doesn’t care about his customers either so I agree with all the negative review, its not the same salon it was a year ago!

Amazing!!! I basically sat down in the chair, told Al that I wanted some length off, no layers, and anything fun he wanted to do. He read my mind and gave me the best haircut I’ve had in years. Definitely my new place!

Overpriced and underwhelming. Not worth it at all. My stylist was rude. His assistant hovered over me the entire time. The salon in dingy. I don’t know how this salon was rated ‘best salon’. I do not recommend. Especially at the price point.

A barber is Not the same as a Stylist After seeing Greys Anatomy I made it a mission to have «McDreamys» hair. The staff at Allenmays is welcoming and friendly. Definitely not a snobby salon, the service and ambiance is always a delight. Al and May, the owners, are two of the classiest people I know. I sat in the chair and as soon as my stylist told me to uncross my legs because I would be sitting in an uneven position I knew I was home. After strategizing for 15 minutes we put our plan into action. I could not be any happier, with my new cut. The self confidence alone my hair has given me is enough. My stylist, Linda, who was doing brides at age 14, is a teacher at hair shows across the U.S. Her talent is amazing.
